Nora had been in the Kanto region for months now, there was more living here than there was in johto, perfect for her lovely little baby who gets hungry very often. She reached down to wipe off some of the blood from her baby’s chest so that it wouldn’t dry up and irritate him later, her precious tried to give her a love bite, forgetting that the mask stopped him from accidently hurting his mommy. Little Norman was fidgeting a lot, mumbling the occasion “NEED.”

The large energy that spread out had really token them both by surprise, when she regained consciousness she was shocked to see her precious asleep, since he started having his odd cravings, he rarely slept, though she was relieved to see him open his beautiful red eyes soon after. The only problem was that the energy had drained him leaving him hungry, but no pokemon could be found in time. Now she was using her sharpened claws to cut off yet another part of her tail, it hurt like crazy, but not as much as hearing her poor baby’s cries of hunger. With practiced precise timing Nora lifted the mask off and placed her flesh in front of her baby’s mouth, being extra careful not to get her fingers too close. “Now, now, little one, don’t wanna finish it too fast now do we?”

As soon as the flesh was devoured, the mask immediately went back on, her healthy little boy seemed to always be hungry nowadays. She would need to find more food for him soon, or else she wouldn’t have a tail anymore.

((seeing as Saphira's Khan and Negative10's Maxwell are AWAY and Eve's vena is in the orphanage, it would be my turn now~))

Ken was busy flying over the town, to get a lay of the land, and pinpoints where they where when he saw Venonats Signal Beam. The Murkrow changed his flight cores to the direction of the beam, seeing the small purple dot of Ven in only a mater of seconds. He began to decend when he heard the horrible screech of something behind him. He looked to see what it was, only to see an infected Fearow following him.
Ken let out a surprised gasp as he picked up his speed to one of the houses, zooming through one of the open windows. The Fearow was to large to fit through it, but that didn’t stop it from trying. It let out screech after screech as it tried to get it body through the window.

Ken just looked into its lifeless eyes as he backed out of the room, watching it trying to get in, its brain completely dead with no sign of life. Ken began to fly again, out of one of the windows and to where Venonat was. “What is it Ven? What did you find?” He said, hiding how shaken he was from that short encounter with an infected. It seems the infection is even here…

Seeing Ken come closer and asking what he had found he pointed at the sign saying "Pallet Town". It was probabl a good clue of their location.

Climbing up the sign he standed on it with his large feet and looked around to try find anything special on that town, it was smll and nearly meaningless but there must be a purpose for this town to be there.

Maxwell followed the Venonat quietly, his feet lightly scraping the mellow grass. Everything seemed so... dead. The lights of the nearby houses were no more, and if the Pichu lifted his nose to the air all he smelt were the living Pokemon beside him. Of course, it would be obvious that the only other scents besides his own were what he smelled, but Maxwell couldn't help but savor the scent, imagining his small razor fangs digging...

What? The small electric type cocked his head in confusion again, trying to read the inscriptions on the piece of board Venonat was pointing towards. "What...?" Maxwell couldn't read- as far as he could remember, the Pichu never had to read in his little life. All he needed was a big heart, a directed goal, and... Maxwell sighed as his memory slipped. If I put my mind to it, I'm sure I'll regain it!

"... now do we?" Maxwell's large ears caught off in the distance an odd, foreign voice. With his large eyes peering off into the dark and searching for any sort of source in the blackness, the Pichu felt his courage waver. What was out there? It must be more than one, and having more to deal with is never a good thing. He reached his small forefeet backwards to try and reach Venonat to warn him, to tell him something's there, anything to alert them of the hidden danger.

Ken looked at the strange writing on the sign, but he couldn’t make out what it said. Only very few pokemon could read human writing, and he wasn’t one of those very few, he had no idea what those scratches meant.
“Sorry Ven, but I don’t have a clue what that says.” He said as he looked at the purple ball of fuzz. It was probably telling them where they where, and he would love to know that, but since he couldn’t read human, that was impossible. It was strange since he could read unown writing, and that was vainly similar, in a way.

Notecing the confusion that the Murkrow was having, Venonat grabbed on the Poison Barb on his antenna and carved on the plake "Pallet Town" so the Murkrow could understand.

Venonat looked down at the Pichu confused, it seemed the little pokemon wanted to say something, although Venonat wasn't entirelly sure if he could trust the pichu after the attack.

Seeing as the Venonat and Murkrow were too busy reading the board, Maxwell sighed, before wandering off into the dark. In all its simplicity, the Pichu could sense something unsettling, something unnatural about the calm air. Padding on all four paws gently around a building, the tiny Pokemon noticed a forest in the near distance.

Maxwell licked his lips in anticipation. In his... Memory? The Pichu shook his head in confusion, before continuing on in his reverie. He could recall sitting on the forest floor, preparing to jump any passing trainers in demand of a battle. Pouncing from his spot, the Pichu bounded off in the forest. The others are too busy anyways. He told himself.

The Outskirts of Pallet Town | Night

He wandered now on his back feet, looking up at the stars and smelling the crip, clean air. If only life were always like this. Maxwell started to miss the empty blanks in his mind, which were now ever growing. Even if he put his mind to it really hard, the Pichu couldn't recall what had happened a week ago. Why am I... fading away? He pondered quietly to himself as he sat on a tree stump.

"It's... not... fair," Maxwell muttered to himself as he looked up to the stars again. Not only is he developing memory loss, but he hadn't even evolved yet. For all he could remember, that was his life long goal, and he was determined to complete it.

Maxwell closed his eyes. Before it's too late.

Little Norman’s grumbles for food had been getting more and more frequent as time went by, her poor little baby was getting hungry again, and a baby that doesn’t eat regularly doesn’t grow up to be a big strong boy now does he? She had been following the general direction of what a map told her a place called pallet town would be held, it seemed like a quiet place that pokemon would hide out in, perfect for her baby’s meal, but along the way of having to feed her little boy, she had lost the her sense of direction, so that was why she was still wandering the area, looking for the town and living pokemon.

She would have kept wandering if it not for the small fragile voice she heard. Most undead didn’t talk, and when they did it was usually vengeful, not broken and sad like this one, making it an easy meal for her baby. Nora pushed the head of her little boy deeper into her pouch to hide her baby, he would usually stay quiet in there if she didn’t take too long. She could feel her little one clawing at her skin from inside the pouch, but she didn’t blame him, he was just being restless, most likely he would calm down after having a bite to eat.

The one that spoke turned out to be a small pichu that was missing an ear. His eyes where closed as if he were offering himself up to Nora’s baby, and as much as she hated to have to kill, her baby was going through a meat phase…. “I’m Sorry.” She said as she unleashed a mega punch on the small, somewhat fragile pokemon.

“Pallet Town?” Ken said after reading what Venonat had written on the plaque. He looked around at the small town. So this was the place of pallet that he had heard about from passing trainers, but he never though in his life he would see it. What would they do now that they knew where they were?

“Hey, wheres Max?” Ken said as he looked around for the Pichu. Even though he didn’t trust it very much after it attacked them with a Thunder Wave, he couldn’t just leave it out there on its own to fend for itself. He opened his wings and began to flap them to get air born. “I’m going to go see if I can find him, you wait here.” He would get a good view from the air, but he didn’t want to have another encounter with a flying infected, so he stayed close to the ground while he looked.

Ken couldn’t find any sign of the little mouse pokemon, so he must have gone out of the town into the forest. “Max!” He called, hoping that if anything heard him it would be indeed Max and not something else.
The Pichu finally came into sight and he let out a sigh of relief, but it didn’t last long when he saw something come out from behind something and about to attack the mouse while it lay there sleeping. “Infected…” He said silently. The beast had almost no tail and a lot of scratches on his stomach. It was a Kangaslhan, a pokemon that where very motherly. But it wasn’t acting very motherly if it was attacking a young pokemon.
Ken picked up his speed, there was no way he would be able to stop the punch, so instead he flew at Max and grabed him just as the punch hit the spot he was a few seconds ago. He tried to slow down but went into a roll and it one of the trees beak first. “Ow…” he said as he rubbed his beak with his wing, before turning around and putting himself between the Kangaslhan and Pichu.

Venonat seemed to smile satisfied by the fact that Ken was able to understand what he was attempting to point out with his writting. But suddenly he noted the lack of the presence of the Pichu. Venonat looked around to try find it...

He was able to see two figures easily, thanks to his eyes that were like radars. One was without a doubt the Pichu, but the other was getting ready to crush it under it's fists. Ken fortunatelly came in time to be able to save it in time. What was the reason for that one to attack, as Venonat walked closer he could notice that it was Kanghaskhan, it's tail was heavily wounded with large bits missing and even had small scratches on it's stomach however it didn't looked to be infected itself...

So why was this creature attacking? What was the reason for it's brutality? Venonat was curious and would have top find out the reason for such a thing...It wasn't natural for a Kanghaskhan to attempt to kill someone by no reason and even less if the victim it targeted is a baby pokemon.

    Pallet Town/Night (18)

    "I ... did it."

In his rage he had barely noticed the Thunder Wave attack issued by Maxwell, but now that he had stopped, his muscles began to tingle with pain. He groaned, lowering his weapon as he gazed down at the dead Jynx as her blood soaked the floor. He was stunned; he hadn't expected her to go down so quickly.

After a moment he regained some of his movement and glared down at the Pichu, his crimson eyes narrowed. Why?! Why hadn't he warned the others about his hunch before? He had the right mind to pick up his spear and beat Maxwell round the head with it before he attacked again. But somehow he resisted. He wasn't a murderer--

    But I am.

Before he could attempt to council himself that he had done it for the greater good, his attention was turned to the sign that Venonat was pointing too.

"Pallet Town ... I have never been here," he said, his voice monotone as he watched Maxwell wander away in the corner of his eye. Good riddance.

As he pondered whether or not he had passed through Pallet Town on his way to Johto, he noticed Ken and Venonat rush off in the direction that Maxwell went. He protested, but they didn't appear to hear him. Swearing under his breath, he picked up his spear and followed them.

    Outskirts of Pallet Town/Night

Khan caught up with his friends just in time to see them defending Maxwell from a huge and very hungry-looking Kangaskhan and her baby. Not even stopping to consider that she might not be as Infected as she looked, he held his spear in front of him and growled a warning to stay away.

"Ow..." One moment passes innocently, with Maxwell wistfully wondering when his time of evolution would pass, when he was swooped off his rump on the stump and rammed against the tree. The Murkrow had hurt himself in the process, and try as he might, the Pichu couldn't find it in himself to feel thankful, or in the least in debt of the flying type. But I can at least help him.

Determined to protect the Murkrow who had helped him in return, Maxwell ran on all fours towards the Kangaskhan. His eyes hardening as his cheeks crackled with electricity, the Pichu hopped upward. He had always been an excellent jumper (for all he remembered he was...), but at that moment Max had tripped on... The ground? A pebble? My own feet? The confusion over what happened never gave way to an answer, though what happened afterwards was a devastating flop of a leap and landing on the Kangaskhan's child.

It was one thing to land on a mother's baby smack-dab on its face, it was another to stare back into its beady eyes that were filled with lust. "You... still have someone that loves you..." He whispered to the thing as its covered mouth wrestled with the mask. Maxwell wasn't sure if he felt guilt for not helping it or anger that it had a loved one. The Pichu didn't exactly know what to feel nowadays.

Holding on even tighter to the Kangaskhan child's face, Maxwell couldn't help but wonder... Why can't I feel anymore?

A bird stopped Nora from going through with her deed, it stopped her from providing food for her baby. One by one more pokemon seemed to pop out of no were, the little pokemon must have been traveling as a group, she wasn’t sure if it was a bad thing since it would cause more of a struggle, or a good thing since it meant more food for Norman. A venonat with a worrisome look on its face, a lucario that immediately took up defense at the sign of a threat, the murkrow that saved the pichu, and the pichu that was suppost to have been pokefood by now, they posed a threat, but she was bigger, she needed to be stronger to protect her baby. And speaking of baby, the other small pokemon somehow managed to trip into her pouch, a possible threat to her offspring.

The pichu clamped down on the mask her baby had and held on tight, this made her furious, no one threatened her child. “DON’T YOU DARE TOUCH MY CHILD YOU LITTLE FUCKER!” She screamed at the top of her lungs as she grabbed the pichu and tried to wrestle it off her son’s mask. It was holding on so tight that little Norman was being raised also by the mask, its little squeals of pain sending her into a frenzy. Nora unclenched them both, putting the baby into her pouch while she threw the pichu at the other pokemon. “YOU ALL WANT TO HURT MY BABY….” She threw an onslaught of dizzy punches at the strong looking lucario, once it fell, the rest will follow, and then little Norman can eat.

His friends came to their aid and a little bit of hope that they where going to win shone in the Murkrows eyes. But when the Kangaskhan found the Pichu wrestling with her child she seemed to begin to get more and more enraged, tossing Max aside when she finally got it off of her kid.
“YOU ALL WANT TO HURT MY BABY….” She shouted before going into the attack once again. She sent a frenzy of Dizzy Punches at Khan, but the Lucario seemed to be doing fine for the moment, but he wouldn’t be able to keep it up for long.
The Kangaskhan was a normal type, so Ken’s two strongest attacks wouldn’t have any effect on the angry mother, and so he only had one eligible attack left. He flew at the Kangaskhan with a Wing Attack, “Stop trying to hurt my friends!” He shouted, but before he could even touch her, she swatted him away like a pesky fly before going back to attacking Khan.

Ken hit a tree with his back and let out a gasp as the wind was knocked out of him. He fell to the ground with a thud, his vision a little blurred as he continued to watch Khan get attacked, unable to attach himself. What can I do? I have to help them… but I’m just to weak… Ken thought to himself as he lay there on the ground, listening to the sounds around him.
Anger started to burn inside the Murkrow as his vision started to go back to normal. It was time he used it, he wasn’t going to hide any longer, he was going to be the hero this time, he was going to be the one to save his friends.
He stood up, anger flaring in his eyes and he shouted at the Kangaskhan, “I said, stop hurting my friends!” Upon saying that, he triggered the Dusk Stone he had been carrying with him for so long, waiting for the time when he would need to use it, and now was that time. He began to shine in a brilliant white light, his form growing larger, his wings getting longer, he was finally evolving.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

As the light began to fade he looked at his new form. The white feathered crest around his neck, the red under his wings, he was no longer a Murkrow, he was now a Honchkrow. He took flight and stared at the Kangaskhan. His wings glowing in a dark light before he fired a steak of dark light at the mother pokemon like blades. He had learned how to use Night Slash upon evolving. He had finally learned a powerful dark type attack. He was amazed by it, but it wasn’t over yet, her began to attack the Kangaskhan with a barrage of Night Slashes.
She wasn’t the one that was infected, it was that child of hers, so she must have been killing a lot of innocent lives just to feed that thing in her pouch. In a way, Ken felt sorry for the little thing, it was so young, and yet it was undead. But that didn’t give the mother the right keep killing pokemon just to feed it.
He stopped his attack and landed on the ground once again and looked the Kangaskhan in the eyes. “Stop killing innocent pokemon just to feed that thing in your pouch.” He said sternly. His voice had changed greatly, and so did he it seemed, but he was still the same little Murkrow on the inside, no matter how much he has changed on the outside.

The Kangaskhan was attacking...The Pichu was on it's pouch...the Lucario was trying to defend itself...The Murkrow had evolved into an Honchkrow and was trying to stop the Kangaskhan...

This was too much for the young Insect Pokemon. Venonat was confused, he didn't know what to do and even if he could do anything. He held his head in his paws, he wanted to attack but he could hurt the others while trying to attack the Kangaskhan. He wanted to stop this madness but it would make everyone mad at him.

This Headache, his Confusion, the Power of Evolution, all this mess was starting to bother Venonat and made him feel weak and insignificant...His body suddenly started to glow, he was going to Evolve! But no...Venonat started to concetrate and forced himself to not evolve. He didn't wanted to Evolve...He shall stay as he is, there's no way he would evolve off yet. As the glow stopped he looked down on the ground while his thoughts started swarming his mind..."Was it the right thing I did?""Yes""I shall not Evolve.""He would be proud of me for not trusting in evolution"

As Khan lunged forward to catch Maxwell before he hit the floor (for a reason he did not know), he was barreled by several powerful Dizzy Punches in the stomach. Once again, he thanked Arceus for making him a part Steel-type, but the attack was still powerful enough to place him in a lot of pain. He staggered backwards, clutching his stomach with one paw and coughing. A metallic liquid rose up his throat into his mouth; he spat out the blood before pausing and finally taking a good look at the Kangaskhan and her baby, barely paying any attention to the flash of white light to his left.

She was in a bad way, with most of her tail missing; Khan marveled at how she could still keep her balance. But still, she didn't look Infected and could still speak. It was the baby that the young Lucario was worried about.

“YOU ALL WANT TO HURT MY BABY…” the mother had roared as she attacked Khan. Taking one last look at the mask that covered the baby's head, he understood.

"You are wrong," he managed to say, still clutching his aching stomach. "We have no intention of harming you or your little one. Forgive us, we thought you were ... one of them." As he said this, Khan couldn't help but glance at the hungry-looking baby.

As Ken spoke, Khan looked round and noticed that the light that he had seen had been Ken evolving into a powerful-looking Honchkrow. He nodded. "Impressive."

Maxwell was thrown roughly away by the Kangaskhan, only to be caught softly by the Lucario. Of one of the many things Maxwell had started to forget, he didn't know if he should feel ashamed that he needed to be rescued, or to be angry that they thought he needed to be saved. The Tiny Mouse Pokemon was confused- it was one thing he was certain. The Murkrow had just evolved into a large Honchkrow, which started to assume attacks upon the Kangaskhan, while the rest of the group continued with the assailant.

"We have no intention of harming you or your little one. Forgive us, we thought you were ... one of them." The Lucario who held him protectively spoke calmly to the Kangaskhan, before noting a congrats to the Honchkrow. Maxwell closed his eyes. I... don't even know their names. The Pichu knew in his right mind that he should feel gratitude, but instead, all he felt was a hollow hole, opening up bit by bit, and his entire insides were devoid of life.

"Thank... you..." He muttered, opening his eyes to glance at the Lucario, to the Venonat, to the Honchkrow, and even to the Kangaskhan. "... so... much..."

The Little bird changed before everyone’s eyes, no longer small and puny, but now large and threatening, though her baby was not scared, in fact the change of size excited him. “Hunger, Need, Want, Desire.” It seemed to be chanting. But the large bird attacked before she could grant her baby’s needs. A series of nightslashes bombarded her, she had to hunch over her pouch in order to make sure that little Norman did not get hurt, so now her back was riddled with marks.

They wanted her to stop, to leave her baby out to starve, they said they wanted to bring no harm to her baby, but they all lie, everyone else in her life betrayed her, what’s to stop these complete strangers from doing the same thing. They would say they are not going to hurt her baby, but when she would lower her defenses, they would try to kill him, thinking he was like all those other brutes, they just didn’t understand, Norman was not infected, he was just going through some strange cravings. “I’ll never let anyone hurt my baby…” Nora charged at the bird while using a hammer arm, it seemed like it wanted to hurt them the most, it had bombarded them with slashes, it wanted to hurt them, so it would be hurt first.

Haze woke up on a cold shore of some unknown land. After splashing the cold sea water in his face, he started to remember what had happened to him. He remembered what had happened to his home in Hoenn. He remembered his father who died trying to defend Haze from that monster. Haze shed a tear and then slapped himself in the face, trying to drive those horrible memories away.

It was the sound of screaming that had brought Haze back to his senses. Startled, he jumped to his feet and went over to a bush to go investigate the origin of the noise. What he saw was a group of more Pokemon that he had never seen before. A blue canine with scars on its face, a little yellow rodent who was missing an ear, a purple insect with large red eyes, a large ebony bird, and a large brown beast guarding a smaller brown beast which wore a mask. The big one was screaming at the bird claiming that no one will harm her child. She then attacked the bird with a heavy fist in the air. A feeling of fear took over Haze, the same feeling he had when his father fought that large flaming beast. Fearing the worst, he started to walk away when he accidentally stepped on a twig and it broke with a loud snap.

Haze ducked into the bushes quickly. He was sure that one of the Pokemon saw him. He hoped with all his might that they would not hurt him. But he did not know these strangers. He did not know if they were friend or foe, and frankly Haze was too terrified to even consider anyone he did not know as anything but enemies.

Ken was prepared for the sudden attack from the Kangaskhan, he managed to dodge it, but just by a feather, backing up as the Hammer Arm hit the ground where he once stood, leaving a noticeable dent in the earth. He stumbled a bit but managed to regain his balance. He wasn’t use to his new body yet, and his thick white feathery crest around his neck made looking down near impossible.
He didn’t want to hurt her if he didn’t need to, but if she kept attacking them like she was, he would have no choice, and he was a lot stronger then he was. “Your babies infected, whether you chose to believe it or not, but it’s the truth.” Rage still shone on her face, he could tell right away that she didn’t believe him. “If it wasn’t infected, then it wouldn’t need the thing on its face, or have a reticules appetite for meat. Isn’t that proof enough that it’s undead!” He shouted at her. He was so focused on trying to convince her of this that he didn’t even notice the twig that snapped in the bushes near him.
She was content on feeding that thing; he could understand that it was her child, but that didn’t give her the right to kill over pokemon just to feed it. He started to remember Rin, and how she tried to attack him, but just couldn’t reach him while he was flying, wishing that he could go back and put an end to her suffering. He spoke once again in a low almost sad voice, “If you truly loved your kid, then you would put it out of its misery, so it doesn’t have to suffer like that any longer…”

Venonat was starting to be bothered by the simple fact he couldn't do a thing...He thought in using his Poison Powder attack but it could harm the others his only option was to use Confusion, which he did. He tried to attack the Kangaskhan with Confusion to attempt to make it toss the baby out in a state of confusion although he wasn't sure if it would work or not.

Suddenly something made him lose his concetration...The sound of a twig breaking was heard...Followed by rustling of leaves. Something quickly hid in a bush. Making sure the Kangaskhan wasn't mad at him, he followed the sound and looked inside the bush, his big red eyes laid uppon a strange pokemon with a sort of mask, a pointy nose and a leaf ontop of his head.

Khan wasn't sure how to feel when Maxwell weakly thanked all of them. He was still holding the Pichu after breaking his fall, and a part of him longed to throw the little Infected towards the Kangaskhan and shout, "Here, he's all yours!" But another part felt a strange kind of pity for the tiny Pokemon. He still had an inkling of life left in him, and Khan didn't want to be the one who destroyed that.

He merely grunted a reply and gently let go of Maxwell just as Ken narrowly dodged a powerful Hammer Arm attack.

    "That is enough!" he shouted.

He glanced to the side and watched Venonat disappear into the bushes as he weighted up their options.

"He's right," he said to the Kangaskhan, gesturing at Ken. "That child will never be the same again. If you keep on allowing him to live like this, he will have a miserable life. He is an Infected. He no longer has feelings, no longer has a conscience. If you really are his mother, and you want to help him, then you should end his suffering. And if you continue to attack us like this," he added, once again adopting a defensive stance, "then we will have no choice but to start defending ourselves. You are powerful, but outnumbered."

"... you are powerful, but outnumbered." The Honchkrow and Lucario voiced their strong concerns against having the strange child of the Kangaskhan's, even going so far as to saying killing it is the next best option. Maxwell found it odd that they'd agree to starve a helpless child, though knowing it was a danger made his train of thought falter. Staring into the child's eyes, the beady eyes of malevolent black, the Pichu saw absolutely nothing, with the exception of one thing- he saw himself in those eyes.

What? Maxwell shook his head repeatedly, hating how his mental war was obviously a losing battle. He agreed with his friends... he knew what the child was facing... he understood the mother's fears... where was it that he exactly stood? Was he a good guy with bad intentions? Or a bad guy with a good mind? His mind wandered, and he wondered about himself. If I put my mind... To what would he put it to? Maxwell felt as if his time were up, becoming paralyzed in a sort of mid-conscience.

"Kangaskhan..." He whispered, walking up to the mother in a lope-sided and zigzagged fashion. "I'm... lost..." She was a mother, right? The Pichu knew (at least he thought) that mothers were figures of guidance, the ones to look to when everything was crazy. A dependable Pokemon. It's... just what I need. "Child... wants love. Love... like Jynx... from before..." What was he saying?

Love... Maxwell knew in his right mind that it was what he needed to evolve.

In the end, they all lie to her about her baby. They said they meant no harm, yet they tell her to kill her little Norman, to ‘put it out if it’s misery.’ She would have none of that, ever. She would sooner kill herself than allow her baby to be hurt.

The actions of the pichu puzzled her. He got into her pouch, grabbed at to her baby’s mask, was thrown by her, and still it dared to walk on up to her to talk. The way it walked though stirred up many memories, it was a dis-leveled walk, lopsided and zig-zagging, like a newborn would walk for the same time, it made her think of her baby’s first steps. Thinking about this brought a few tears to her eyes, tears of both sadness and joy. It also seemed to affect little Norman, he was crying out his usual, “WANT, WANT, WANT,” but it was not looking at the pokemon with hunger fueled lust, he was looking straight up at her, the clouded smoky eyes that she had begun to see in him, clearing up before her eyes. Whether he was remembering the same thing as she was, or if he had a different agenda was hard to tell, but it was obvious that Norman wanted the pichu along, and while it could pose a possible threat if he tried to hurt the baby, the look of sadness and glint of change in the pichu’s eyes made her believe that her family could possible grow, that Norman could have a brother that didn’t die. It wanted love, and by the looks of the stares from the other pokemon, he would not get it from them, it would mean more mouths to feed, but if it made her baby happy, she would do it.

Nora bates picked up the pichu and placed him in her pouch, Norman who had showed such passion for the mouse a second ago had become immediately shy when the mouse got in the pouch. “NO ONE WILL HURT MY BABIES!” she yelled as she charged away from the group as fast as she could.

When she finally stopped to catch her breath she remembered that Norman had yet to eat. She would need to feed them both very soon. “Don’t you worry now, Momma’s not gonna let anything hurt you.” As she patted them both on the head.

    ((Was done a bit rushed...))
