Commander Jupiter

Jupiter prefers to forget her early life as much as possible and has succeeded to where she no longer remembers her family name; something that comes as a relief to her. What little she does recall is full of violence and harsh words, and she's fairly sure she remembers her father murdering her mother. She's also sure that was the day she escaped to the large, frightening world outside.

It was a couple years later that she met Cyrus; entranced with his intelligence and big ideas, she was quick to join the man and become a member of Galactic, shedding her old name and taking on the name Jupiter long before anyone else in the group would embrace a new name. And with her new name came a new person. Discarding the frightened, cowardly child she'd once been, she developed her strength and flourished under Cyrus's watchful gaze, relishing in her new power and enjoying the feeling it gave her. Though she knew it wasn't romantic love that she felt for Cyrus, she couldn't deny that something about her mentor left her craving his attention and desiring it all to herself. When he took on two other students, this split his time up between them. There was nothing she could do about it but unload her unpleasantness on the other two, who quickly found their own ways to beat her back. Sulking, she accepted that, for now at least, they were a team of four, not two.

Cyrus's plot was insane, using a Legendary to remake the world in their image, but that was a kind of insanity Jupiter could get behind. She was eager to be a part of that new world, one where she would call most of the shots and never have to worry about losing power or purpose ever again.

When Galactic set its plan in motion she fell upon her tasks with fervor, each defeat the children handed her strengthening her ire towards mankind until she was pleased to know an entire area would be bombed. When defeated she was eventually captured and sent to prison, where she experienced directly taking a life for the first time. It terrified her but also thrilled her in a way nothing else had since losing Cyrus.  

However, she stopped herself from finding some other victim to kill. Just because it gave her a bit of a rush didn't mean she should be stupid. She was lucky to get away with that first murder. Commiting another for no reason would be really pushing her luck. She didn't want to degenerate into some bloodthirsty beast incapable of rational decision making. And so she stayed her hand, waiting for an opportunity to get out of prison and find something new to do with her life.  

The epidemic was a curse to most at the prison but for her, a salvation. Luckily for her, news of the epidemic reached the prison before the walking dead did, and as the guards stationed at the jail grew more and more nervous at the idea of the impending threat, she found they became more and more vulnerable. Tricking a guard into handing her the keys, she killed her and slipped out of he cell. This would save her life; not twenty minutes after escaping her cell, the undead arrived at the building. Chaos erupted and the guards trying to hunt her down stopped in favor of either trying to protect the prison and the lives inside, or save their own lives by fleeing. Jupiter relieved a dead guard of her Pidgeot and threatened the other pokemon with death, promising the bird that if he didn't take her away, she would crush his friends' pokeballs. The bird agreed to help her escape and brought her to the location she'd promised her pokemon they would meet at should they ever be separated. Upon finding them safe, she realized the Pidgeot would be of no further use-- he was too loyal to his trainer and had too much to try to return to, as his trainer had family.

So she murdered him and left the pokeballs.

Four years later find her lost in a cave, searching for a pokemon that, if properly caught and contained, would allow the little kingdom she'd established back in Johto to never be capable of being overrun by other humans.

The question is, can she outsmart the others and escape with her prize?

♐ Cyrus: it's complicated; Cyrus may be the only human Jupiter has loved in many years; he is the man who turned her entire life around and she is forever grateful to him for that. He didn't even discourage her sadistic side-- in fact he even encouraged it a little. However, she has moved on from wanting him in her life-- absense can make the heart grow fonder or forgetful, and it seems she is the latter; she has completely gotten over him.

♐ Mars: DIE IN A HOLE YOU BRAT YOU ARE SO ANNOYING. Mars's weird moral code, hyperactivity, and superiority pissed her off. She wouldn't be very surprised if Mars were still alive, but hopes she isn't. Doesn't think on her very much.

♐ Saturn: Creepy fucking kid; she sort of hopes he got eaten, but if he's alive she wouldn't mind tormenting him a little to make up for how he was such a talented little asshole back when they were younger; it meant she had to share Cyrus's attention with him, which wasn't enjoyable.

♐ Charon: Boring old man ugh. He wasn't interesting nor fun. She was happy to leave him behind.

♐ Pearl: Arrogant little idiot; she really only got to speak to him the one time at Lake Acuity, but she enjoyed crushing his dreams. Is very angry that he ultimately helped in Galactic's downfall and would love to kill the young man for it.

-retains the title of "Commander" because it's not a lie; she's just a commander of a different group
