|History||Monisha, from birth, was a naturally curious chick. Constantly following her mother around asking all sorts of questions, it wasn't long before the young Vullaby was known as a bother. However, names didn't stop her from inquiring about the world. The vulture was bright, much brighter than all her companions [Of which she only had a few.] and was determined to unlock secrets within her life. She strived for deep knowledge, her ever growing need for replies growing day by day.|
Fed up with the lack of response from the flock she was born to, Monisha threw a fit, flying as far as her small wings would let her before resting in a forest near a human settlement. She observed the two-legged species go about their daily lives, and soon she grew a curiosity towards people. Both for their interesting ways, and also because she believed they would he the answers she longed for. Day by day the Vullaby would watch from a distance, inching closer and closer to the homes. Soon, her fascination got the better of her as she dwelled too close, and was caught by young archaeology student.
Life with the student wasn't bad, in fact, the young Vullaby enjoyed it. She learned much more than she had expected, after months of first talon observation, and soon the boy even began to teach her archaeology! It was definitely the kind of life Monisha dreamed of, spending day unraveling the mysteries of fossils, at night training to become stronger with her owner. After months of training she evolved, now able to work more efficiently with her new figure, and began to slave away her days at excavation sites.
When the Epidemic hit, Monisha and her owner never knew, living in a small shack near the Meteor Falls, they didn't often get news of events. It wasn't until the listless, adventurer-less days and growling at night that they thought something must've happened. Even then, they continued their days digging, uncaring of whatever happened. A few weeks after the outbreak was when they realized they should've cared, on the night bodies were slammed against their door.
That was what happened, bodies flung onto the wooden door. Torn intestines and dismembered limbs chucked at the entrance to their once humble home by a pack of undead Absols, clawing at the cedar frames. At first, the duo was confused, staring into the glowing red pools that were their eyes, and into their dark, abyssal skin. Even after they broke through the windows and surrounded them, they were confused. Monisha began to ask questions, demanding answers from the mindless zombies whom ignored her, simply closing in on them. As they pounced the Mandibuzz flew up, clutching the boy with her talons, but had hit the roof and was forced to watch as the student's lower body was swiftly ripped apart by the savage beasts.
In fear she dropped the body, flailing her wings as she flew out a broken window, shrieking in horror at the gore. Before she had flew out, however, the vulture had grabbed a large dragon bone to defend herself, too shaken to use any of her moves. As the sun slowly began to set she flew off, unable to see the sight of her mangled owner anymore, and instead flew to find a more safer land than her ruined home.
|Appearance||Monisha is pretty. Unlike most of her species this vulture doesn't look menacing, however her demeanor is much more gentle. A peaceful, friendly expression rests in her face, complemented with round, delicate eyes. Her feathers aren't very clean, however, often tainted with splotches of dirt and mud. She carries around a large, femur-like bone. Presumably from a dragon. She has bright blue eyes.|
|Personality||Monisha is a gentle, kind soul. Although delicate, she is not one to back down from a worthy challenge and will fight to protect her pride and dignity. Often times she seems to have infinite patience, carefully waiting for things, however this is not the case. The only reason she can even bear to wait is the knowledge that she'll obtain a reward in the end, and is otherwise an extremely impatient vulture. She also happens to love digging things up, especially bones.|
