    Outskirts of Snowpoint| Late Morning

The absol walked around in the snow her coat would match perfectly if it wasn't for the burnt parts. Disaster sniffed around on the ground looking for her meals. A new scent had joined them, and the absol licked her lips in hunger. Though she had little thought left to she imagined ripping them into peices and lapping up the remaining blood and whatever was left. It would be hers.

"Move along then, you have no time to waste.

Disaster nodded at the voice that came from her own mouth and she walked forward, following the scent. She'd followed them since they'd been in the caves back in Johto, if that overgrown frog thought he was getting them he had another thing coming.

[OOC: Skip, since I have no idea what to make Drowned do. His nose isn't as great as Disaster's and he wouldn't be able to hear them from the distance- let's just say he's marching here and there for clues. :>]

    Snowpoint Outskirts| Late Morning

Dante waited for everyone to get moving as he led the way, eager to take a good long rest and eat. It wasn't meat, but anything to fill his abyss of a stomach was welcomed. Once everyone was safely inside, he looked to the trail of footprints leading straight to the cabin and frowned. 'It'd lead anything following us straight to us...' he growled in his mind.

Taking a deep breath, he let out every last tongue of flame at the snow surround their cabin and the nearby land, melting it to a point where the footprints were no longer visible. It left the snow odd and undulating, but at least it wasn't noticeable when first seen. The flames covered well over a few dozen feet, reaching out near where they had escaped the avalanche. His throat finally gave out, blood spurting out instead of fire. He coughed, the stinging pain stabbing at him. 'I think I should stop now...' he grumbled internally as he buried the small bit of blood he had produced.

He returned to the cabin and shut the doors and windows, but not before bringing in a full, ripe bushel of berries for the group to feast on. He ate a few himself to soothe his raw throat. "I ran out of fire," he said in a low voice to Strix. "I gotta sleep before I get anymore." He looked over the others, making sure the little blue cat was getting her share and sighed. He then turned to the espeon, and after locking gazes with her, went back to eating. He didn't think she would be too much of a problem.

At least, he hoped she wouldn't.

Small Cabin | Around noon (20)

Approaching the small cabin, Strix brightened and doubled his pace. His legs were weak and wobbly, though he tried not to show it. The shelter was secluded and well constructed.
We would definitely be safe enough here, at least until we've all recovered from today...
Strix turned and grinned at Dante as he shook all the snow off his feet before he went in.
"I am so damned tired of snow and ice and cold." He grumbled as he maneuvered in through the narrow doorway. He then looked about, admiring the secured windows and walls.
"Alright Alice, this is where you get off." Strix said with a chuckle as he put her in the corner.
He felt somewhat conscientious of himself, as his powerful tail would easily smash through anything in this cabin without so much as a quick turn.

Dante came in from outside with a small bushel of assorted berries. Strix sat down next to Alice and Hera, picking out a berry he knew only by sight that would cure his shivers. He quickly popped it in his mouth, feeling a soothing warmth spread throughout his limbs and chest. He sighed in relief as he grabbed a large handful of orans and quickly ate them as well.

"I ran out of fire, I gotta sleep before I get anymore." Dante muttered as he settled down next to him. Strix nodded. He could smell the faint scent of blood on the Houndoom, and only guessed it was from the strain he had put on himself.
"Yes, rest. I'll keep watch tonight. Maybe even go find some REAL food." He muttered as he imagined cutting his teeth into raw meat. "I bet everyone here wouldn't mind that." He said grinning, nodding towards the others.
Despite his attempts at making light of a real meal, Strix was worried. Neither he nor a large carnivore like Dante could go very long without meat if they wanted to stay healthy. He would have to find something to keep their energy up and bellies satisfied. He frowned as he thought back on the days events.

"How exactly did we even get here?...The last thing I remember was being frozen...And what happened to the others? Did we lose them in the blizzard?" Strix asked Dante in a hushed tone, not wanting to alarm the others.

The absol walked around her coat tugging at the wind as she searched. The force of the wind was going to be a problem, as well as the snow. Both where making it harder to follow the group's already thin trace and the undead thrashed around in annoyance. She curled her broken lips into a snarl though the unburt side seemed to just be patient. The dark pokemon continued to walk, after awhile she couldn't smell them anymore and there where no footprints to guide her.
She holwed in anger and kicked at the snow "MINE!!!!" she screeched.
"Calm down. Someone might hear us." a prettier voice, coming from her own throat. Disaster snapped at the air in agitation she countinued to scream and howl in anger.
    "You'll ony bring trouble, STOP!"
Disaster was suddenly forced to the cround by this voice, she still thrashed like a child who hadn't gotten a new toy but she calmed and the hold on her loosened.

Alice didn't say anything as Strix set her down in the cabin's corner, but when Dante brought the berries, Alice realized just how hungry she was. The Luxio ate some and was grateful for the food that helped fill her belly. She was trying to get comfortable so she could sleep, when she heard Strix ask them something that brought back painful memories. Molasses being frozen and killed, Akina being stabbed by the tusk of that great infected mammoth.

"How exactly did we even get here?...The last thing I remember was being frozen...And what happened to the others? Did we lose them in the blizzard?"

"Molasses, he was killed right after you were frozen. He was hit by an Ice Beam, and something took his body...." Alice's throat tightened with the memory of the kind Munchlax's body levitating away from the group, most likely towards his murderer. "How we got here, I have no idea, we teleported or something.....but once we did, an infected mammoth killed Akina. Stabbed her with its tusks." Alice held back the tears that threatened to spill from her eyes; was there a possibility that she could've saved them, and the two would be here with them in this cabin? Alice settled back down, the Luxio couldn't speak anymore, there was a huge lump in her throat.

She was hungry, so hungry. How long had it been since she had taken a meal? Too long. Not many creatures left here in the snow, nothing with the disgusting warmth of life. She hated their warmth, she was never warm. All the Weavile knew was coldness, bitter cold that seeped through every pore of her body. She could hear a rumbling in the distance, something was out there, something...tasty.

    Blood....warmth...end it...

Quickly sprinting through the trees she stopped just on the outskirts of what was left of the once glorious city of snow. Someone was there, a patch of blue stood out in stark contrast the perfect blankets of white snow that surrounded it. It seemed to be searching for something, food perhaps. The Weavile gave a maddening grin, for this was now her time to feed.

    Blood...food...

She wasted no time, launching herself at the creature with Shadow Claw ready. It didn't do much to faze the beast, but it did leave him wondering. She darted through the snow, using it as cover, as she came up from behind him again. She lept onto the creatures back, digging her Night Slash deep into his skin. Blood flowed freely from the open wound and the maniacal Weavile happily lapped it up. But, no!

    Blood...? No...ASH!

This creature was a tainted one, its blood doing nothing but turning to ash in her mouth. Infuriated she began hacking at its back until it was left with several gaping wounds. A sudden inspiration struck her, as she poised an ice beam at one of the wounds. She let it out slowly, watching as the creatures blood turned to ice from inside it. When the creature was frozen solid she jumped from its back and landed right in front of it. Slowly drawing one claw in a mocking gesture across her throat she let out a devastating Dark Pulse, shattering the once massive Swampert into thousands of pieces before heading back into the trees to search for food once again.

    Warmth...life...gone...

    Just Outside Snowpoint|Noon
    (1)

The sun was high in the sky but still it offered little relief from the bitter cold. Ciara had barely managed to crawl out of the remains of a freak avalanche that destroyed her makeshift den, and her fur was soaked with melted snow. She shivered a little in the blizzard winds as she padded through the thick snow, trying to find her way to a more secluded area. The things that lived in the snow, they knew how to hide, they were vicious and cruel and preferred to attack from cover. She needed to get somewhere safe and fast.

From somewhere in the blinding winds she saw a dark silhouette. It looked to be a building of some sort, so perhaps she could find shelter there until the blizzard ended. Hopefully there wasn't anything there that could hurt her, because in her condition she wasn't going to put up much of a fight. Frozen to the bone and soaking wet was not the way to die. 'I just need to get out of the wind...'

Approaching the shadow she saw that it was indeed a building, a cabin, and upon reaching the door she heard voices. Now that was something she hadn't heard in a long time. Cautiously she peeked through one of the windows and saw a rather ragtag group huddled together in the little room, eating berries. Her stomach growled loudly at the sight of food and she let out a small whimper of fear. If they heard her they might hurt her, but...the idea of food was too promising. She padded up to the door again and gently began scratching at it.

"P-p-please...p-please...h-h-help..." her teeth chattered loudly as she tried to speak. Hopefully someone inside would take pity on her long enough to just wait out the storm. She didn't hold out any idea that they might want to keep her around, no one ever wanted her around. But maybe, just maybe, she could stay the night.

    Snowpoint Outskirts| Noon

Dante had quickly fallen asleep after eating his share of berries, his body warm as they all hudled together against the cold. His dreams were fragmented and broken, the two infected that followed haunting them, but a sinister shadow behind them all, his greatest fear and the one thing he craved to kill.

    Delia.

The little zorua's shrill cackle diminished into a mocking, "P-p-please...p-please...h-h-help..." she giggled again as her illusions surrounded him, fangs gleaming. He threw fire at any Delia he saw, but none were the true thing. He turned, and there she was, evolved into some bipedal nightmare, face grinning and eyes wide with lust (which, he did not know).

"DANTE, WAKE UP," she snarled as she lunged.

He awoke with a start, and when he realized where he was, he let out a sigh of relief. He swallowed and felt his throat good as new, which gave him more relief. At least they could burn the rest of the berry bushes for warmth when they ate them all...

Then, he heard Delia's plea again and a light scratching at the door. "P-p-please...p-please...h-h-help..." He glared at the door and sniffed; it did not smell like death outside... and no infected would simply plea their way in... He stood and went to the door, nudging it open. There he saw a shivering puppy, eyes wide with fear.

He looked behind her first and saw the tracks. 'Dammit,' he growled as he looked back to her. "Did anything follow you? You're leaving a trail right back to us. Get in so I can fix the snow." He pushed the door open more and pushed past her to level the snow again, erasing her tracks for a fair bit. He trotted back in and gave her a wary eye.

"Now, who the hell are you?" he asked as he circled her, sniffing to make sure she really wasn't a threat. He paused in front of hr, waiting for an answer.

Small Cabin | Around noon (21)

Strix' heart sunk as he listened to the Luxio with shock and sadness.
    Dead?...frozen...impaled...
His stomach turned as his minds' eye recreated the horrible scenes that took place while he was trapped in ice.
"Dammit..." He sighed heavily and grunted in regret. He leaned on his knees and curled his tail closer to him, thinking back on the moments before he had been attacked.
I was standing outside the cavern, keeping watch...I can't remember anything nearby...nothing could have made it past...

Strix looked around the group. Dante had nodded off, and the others were resting. The small cabin was warm and quiet, except for his still growling stomach. Looking down at his massive claws, he tried to put food out of his mind, but couldn't. Berries weren't cutting it, especially after the insane day they had.
Clenching his fists, he decided to go on a short hunt.
He gently patted the Luxio and whispered close to her ear. "Hey, I'm going to go find some better food. If anything happens, just call out. I won't be far."
He lurched out as quietly as he could, not wanting to disturb the others. Closing the door behind him, he gazed around the barren mountain. There was a moderate wind, but the chill that it brought along promised another storm.
This fucking snow! Ugh! he thought angrily as he painstakingly made his way to the areas without snow, so as not to leave tracks.
Once he was far enough from the cabin, he focused his mind.
"Hmm..." he sniffed the air carefully, rising to his full height, his ears moving to pick up any disturbance.
The wind blowing through the frozen trees wasn't as pronounced on his right flank, so he slowly made his way that way, staying low and alert for any movement.
This place is empty of life...even for a frozen wasteland like this...Strix thought uneasily.
As he stepped over a fallen log, he smelled death. Not far from the base, partially crushed by the fallen tree, was the corpse of a bird. There was red and white feathers scattered near the carcass, frozen to a small pool of dark frozen liquid around the body.
Strix drew closer and sniffed the creature.
It doesn't look like it's been touched by anything...and it's not rotten...but it is frozen. Undeterred by this, he carefully salvaged what he could of the dead bird and began to make his way back to the cabin, when he heard snow crunching somewhere ahead of him.
In one fluid movement, he dropped the dead thing and took to hiding behind a large boulder nearby.
His ears straightened as he caught sight of a lone swinub, waddling into the clearing.
He silently sniffed the air; he grinned as he felt the wind against his face.
    Not an infected...
    It'll never see it coming...

A pang of guilt ran through him as he suddenly had second thoughts about killing one of the few uninfected he's run across. He watched as the small brown pokemon shuffled through the snow, burying its snout in the ground periodically.
...If we don't get any clean meat in our systems, we could starve...or worse, succumb to one of the infected because we're too damn weak to fight back...
Anger flooded him as the weight of the situation hit him hard. He lashed out at the Swinub with a Shadow Claw, a deep gash opening up behind its skull and spilling blood. Not a sound came from the creature except gargling; he had been quick and clean in his kill. It was dead before it knew what had happened.
With a heavy heart, he held the carcass upside down and drained it of as much blood as he could. Once it stopped dripping, he made his way to the other corpse nearby, picked it up and made his way back to the cabin.

    __________________

The wind had turned violent and chilling. The snow was so thick, he couldn't see very far ahead of him, but he knew which way the cabin was. As he approached the small building from the side, he saw a blast of fire erupt and melt the top layer of snow surrounding them.
    Dante?...he thought, puzzled.
    What's he doing?...
He heard the door shut as the hound trotted back in.
Peering in through through a crack in the window, he saw another pokemon, circled by Dante. This one was lean and dark as well. It also looked young and absolutely terrified of the intimidating Houndoom.
    Oh.
He looked down at the dead pokemon in his claws, then back through the window.
I'm sure that one is hungry too...
I guess we can split it...

With a heavy sigh, he knocked on the wall with his heavy claw.
"Yo Dante, come out here for a second."
Strix didn't want to barge in with a bunch of corpses. He just didn't know which of them wanted meat and which ones would be...unsettled by it.
Maybe Dante could thaw out this bird... he thought bitterly as he eyed the frozen lump in his hands.

    Small Cabin| Around Noon

The undead continued forward led by nothing, not a scent, a sound or even a taste of her goal. Only stubborn determination led her forward to search for them. She kept patient to keep the other, friend from speaking again. But an infected's memory was short and Disaster was loosing her patience again. But the wind blew towards the stomachless undead, and she smelled something bloody, something alive. Not any of her hunt but it was alive. Or had been considering the blood.
She licked her charred lips and followed the scent running and kicking up snow to follow the scent, as she got closer she slowed down. Disaster glanced around spotting some infected sneasels that she attacked with a slash, cutting one the heads off. The other ran off not seeing the worth in what it had found. A splash of blood on the white snow, something from a hunt. Disaster didn't see the point either and licked up the blood just for the snack. But the other did, her friend spoke again.
"Footprints, they belong to the nidoking.
Disaster blinked and looked over at some foot prints she otherwise wouldn't have noticed because of the thick snowfall and how quickly they where being filled. They looked like they belong to that purple beast. She neared them and sniffed the scent was fading but there was no doubt about it,
    it was him.
The side of her mouth that crumbled curled up into a grin."Disaster.....mine....mine..." She followed the faint scent trail and the footprints. Hunger and bloodlust in her drooping eye. The other stared forward. But the footprints suddenly stopped and she let out a growl of frustration looking around for more clues. With unknown logic she continued on the path that the footsteps had been heading and spotted something in the distance, a human household next to it was the purple beast.
Two growls came from her throat.

Alice nodded sleepily as the Nidoking told her he was going searching for food, and hopefully nothing would attack while Strix was gone. They really couldn't afford more attacks, especially Dante since he still needed to get his fire back. The Luxio settled in a curled position to gather more warmth and fell into a restless sleep. Her dreams where all quite strange, with countless Lopunny leaping through fields of cowering, chained Shinxes and Luxios. The Lopunny leaped on the backs of the lion-like Pokemon, who cried out in pain. Cruel laughter echoed throughout Alice's ears, and she desperately tried to cover her ears and block out the sounds. Then a dark shadow blanketed everyone in the field, and heavy footsteps caused the ground to rumble. Suddenly a Luxray bounded from the ground and started to attack all of the Lopunnies, driving them all off in mere minutes....then released a Thunderbolt, destroying Alice's dream. She woke with a start, staring at the door, which had scratching sounds coming from it.
"P-p-please...p-please...h-h-help..." something whimpered, and Alice sighed with relief. An Infected would have just busted down the whole cabin, and they didn't talk so clearly. As far as Alice was concerned, Infected teeth didn't chatter either. Dante let in whatever was out there, and it turned out to be yet another dog, a black-and-gray one. As Dante went outside to fix the snow, Alice wondered how it had survived outside, in the freezing cold.

"Now, who the hell are you?" Dante growled at the dog, and they waited for a response to the blackhound's rather blunt question. As Alice waited with baited breath, she heard something heavy knock on the wooden side of the cabin. "Yo Dante, come out here for a second." Strix! Alice recognized the voice, and was curious about why he didn't just come in and not stand outside in the cold. Maybe he found something dangerous, or a nest of strong Pokemon only they could fight... Alice was excited and worried about what the possibilities could be, but there was always the possibility the two didn't tell them what had occurred.

The wind was chilling her wet fur, freezing Ciara to the bone. She scratched at the door a few more times, but for a while there was no sign of an answer. Perhaps they were just going to leave her out here. She started to walk away when the door was slightly parted and before the young Mightyena stood a powerful canine...who looked particularly angry. Ciara's eyes widened in fear and her tail went between her legs at his menacing glare, and when he spoke it was just as harsh as his appearance.

"Did anything follow you? You're leaving a trail right back to us. Get in so I can fix the snow." She barely uttered a quick "...no.." before she was pushed out of the way while the other canine began to, wait, was he melting the snow? What for? He gave her a look that made her back into the cabin warily, not taking her eyes off of him. Whatever he was up to it was probably best not to ask. After a few moments, seeming pleased with his work, the dark creature came back inside and closed the door before beginning to circle the frightened female. Ciara sensed great power within this intimidating male and quickly her tail tucked again, her ears went back, and she lowered herself flat onto the floor in submission.

"Now, who the hell are you?" His growl was deep, and she couldn't fight it, she answered immediately. "I-I'm...I'm Ciara...sir..." He was just sitting there, looking expectantly at her, perhaps he meant for her to elaborate? "I'm...an outcast, I suppose. I was trapped, in an avalanche, not far from here and barely managed to dig my way out. I was trying to find somewhere safe to hide since my den was destroyed." She knew she was close to rambling but this fire dog was scary, and he had demanded answers...

A loud banging on the wall interrupted her train of thought. Was it some creature come to kill her? She whimpered miserably until she heard a voice from outside. "Yo Dante, come out here for a second." 'Dante'? What's a 'Dante'? When the other canine went to answer the call she dumbly realized that must be his name. She sighed in relief and pulled herself into a sitting position, tail curled around her in some form of mock comfort. It was then she realized the other in the cabin watching her. "Um...hello?" she offered pathetically.

    Small Cabin| Afternoon

Dante was a little surprised by the newcomer's... uh... submissive behavior. Generally, any other pokemon he'd run into were either trying to kill him or adamant or fiesty or... either way, none of them were like... this...

Her fear made him uncomfortable, but she did answer his questions quickly and... at length. For a moment, he wasn't really sure what to do with her when a noise at the window saved him. It was Strix, calling him from outside. He sighed in relief and made his way out, glad for the distraction. He glanced down to the... dog thing... with a wary eye. "Eat some berries if you want," he said as he brushed past her and went to Strix.

When he came out, the scent of fresh blood wafted into his nose and immediately, he grew concern for the big guy. But when he rounded the corner of the cabin and found Strix with food -actual FUCKING FOOD- his eyes widened with happiness and delight. "Strix, you fantastic demon bunny you, I could kiss you right now. That's a meal, isn't it?" He came closer, staring at the corpses. He looked at the partially frozen one and laughed a little. "That need a little nuking, I guess?"

He grunted as a harsh wind laden with snow. "Looks like another storm's coming in. Come in before you need nuking, too."

    Small Cabin| Afternoon (22)

Strix grinned as he held up the corpses in triumph.
"Haha! Yes it is! I figured I'd find something more for us." He said proudly.
"Do you think the others will be okay with us...eating these inside?" He asked, uncomfortable with the idea of scaring or intimidating some of the others.
"I know...not all of them may understand."

"That need a little nuking, I guess?" Dante said, sniffing at the frozen bird. He nodded and held it out, inspecting it further.
"It was probably a nati-" He started, a freezing gust blew, tearing the words away from them. The houndoom suggested they get back inside, and Strix agreed.
"Yeah. Let's get out of this damned snow." He muttered, making his way through the thickening snow towards the cabin door.

    Small Cabin | Afternoon
    (18)

Alice was curiously watching the Mightyena, who introduced herself as Ciana. Her behavior to Dante was strange, but maybe it was normal for the more dog-like Pokemon, because this dog was absolutely terrified of Dante. Of course, that was with good reason, but even Akina had not just laid down and submitted to the leadership of the blackhound. The other dog didn't seem to have very good luck, getting trapped in an avalanche and losing her den. That was probably what forced Ciana to come here. Dante then left the cabin to meet Strix outside, telling the other dog to eat if she wanted. Ciana offered Alice and Hera a weak greeting, but the Luxio didn't mind....her voice was probably in an even worse condition.

"Hello, Ciana," Alice said in an equally weak voice, due to the pain she was enduring. "My name's Alice." She didn't introduce Hera, seeing as she would probably want to say her own name. Alice could understand that, and with a flick of her tail, offered Ciana a place to lie down. She looked like she needed some rest, and hopefully the message would get across to her. As Alice waited for the response from Ciana, she wondered why Strix was staying outside, and not coming in.

They were still staring...Ciara didn't know what to do. Even in a sitting position she was curled tightly into herself, completely submissive to any in the room. One of the cats, the blue one, had been studying her for a while, and it was really unnerving the poor Mightyena. "Hello, Ciana. My name's Alice," finally came the reply. Ciara almost jumped at the words that broke the uneasy silence so suddenly. Though even in her unease she noticed a small mispronunciation with her name, and figuring it could help break the ice she didn't mind saying it again. "I, uh, I...sorry, but...it's Ciara, actually. With an 'R'?" She smiled apologetically.

Alice skimmed the ground with her tail, a sweeping gesture to tell her it was okay to lay down, and the tension in her shoulders eased at the motion. To her it meant a small hope that they wouldn't throw her out for at least a little while. The others were still outside and Ciara could only wonder as to what they were out there for. She wouldn't want to go back out there, especially since her fur was still soaked. She noticed the light purple cat was nearby and seemed almost as nervous as she herself felt, which was odd.

"Um, I-I'm He-...Hera." The pause was not lost on Ciara, though she couldn't find a reason for it, and smiled timidly at the creature. The smile was lost however because the cat wouldn't even lift her eyes. Was she another submissive? The other female looked like she was very battle seasoned, judging from the scars, and Ciara knew she didn't have the kind of experience that could take on that kind of a creature. Best to just try and stay on her good side, then, submissive or not.

The others finally came back in, and she let out a small squeak of a sneeze, shivering as the cool air rushed in. The smell of fresh meat filled her nose and at once she was on alert. Though she had no doubt they would NEVER share their food with her, perhaps she could have any scraps that were left. It was no different than scavenging after larger carnivores in the wild, just in such close quarters these would be able to catch her doing it. She would have to be sneaky if she wanted even a bone to gnaw on. So off in the corner she waited, very quietly, very patiently, for them to eat. No one ever notices a nobody like her, so all she has to do is wait.

((OOC: Thanks Ciana! I picked it because it means "dark one", which suits my poor little girl))

    Small Cabin| Afternoon

Dante eagerly went back into the cabin and shook himself free of the snow. The pup finally seemed to relax a little since she was laying down near Alice. Dante quirked a brow at her and then took his original spot on the other side, plopping down onto the sturdy, wood floor.

"Well, Strix found some meat for us. If you want some, fine. If you want to just eat the berries, fine." He took the frozen bird and used a light flame to begin heating it up. "Either way, we need meat. I'm sure you do too." He ripped off the portion of the bird he wanted and put it in the middle, with the berries. "If none of you want it, though, I'll finish it. Reheated food is a... an acquired taste."

Though he was starving, he waited until everyone got their share. To the newcomers, he quirked a brow at their shyness. "...Go on. You've gotta be hungry." To emphasize his point, he ripped off a portion and chewed it happily, elated for finally have meat in his system.

    Small Cabin| Afternoon (23)

Strix followed the Houndoom back inside and closed the door behind him. The doorknob was awkward and tiny in his hands, which made him curse silently at how annoying humans were sometimes.
He gazed down at the cowering newcomer and nodded with a grunt.
Alot of these pokemon seem mentally traumatized...I hope they'll hold up in battle when it's needed. He thought, a worried expression coming over his face.

He sat down carefully across from Dante as he tore the Swinub carcass in half. Putting his half down in front of him, he put the rest in the middle with the other food and helped Dante with roasting the frozen bird. The flames that licked at his claw didn't even phase the Nidoking. He grinned as he put it in front of all of them and picked up his own meal. He happily bit into the tender flesh, bones crunching between his powerful jaws.
Oh Arceus, this is so fucking delicious.
Strix promptly inhaled his food, starved for raw meat. His stomach still growled loudly after it was gone, but he held back from grabbing more. His size demanded large amounts of food to maintain his strength and his..'cheery' disposition.
Urgh...a hungry team is a dead team. He thought reluctantly, clenching his fists together.
He turned his attention to the Mightyena, who was still meekly looking at the others.
"So what's your name, stranger?" He muttered, grabbing a handful of berries and popping a few in his mouth, ignoring the terrible pain coming from his stomach.

    Outside Small Cabin| Afternoon

The infected stared into this scene from a window, her eyes glowing slightly red as she stared at the live ones. Disaster felt hunger and hatred digging into her, drool dripped off of the burnt side of her face. The other eye, the still good eye that stared at the pokemon with envy. Why did this infection take her? There where millions of other pokemon in this world but she was the one who's life had been taken. She hated these pokemon, hated them for being alive. Maybe she'd join her friends with their help, but her anger was mixed in with that of Disaster's. And she might as well help herself, maybe if she killed one of them they'd counter. Revenge was always a powerful motivation, hadn't she been fueled by those emotions once?

Disaster dug her claws into the wood and licked her lips, she didn't feel the ripping of her skin, the ice particaled flying through the hole in her stomach and tickling her entrails. The blood that she had lapped up froze on the bottom of her lip. Hail might have started but she didn't care, they where waiting. Waiting for the perfect moment to bring their wrath onto this group.

Well, the one called Dante looked her way but when he mentioned eating she knew he wasn't talking about her. The others seemed to get up and go get their share, but Ciara just lay there, watching. She wasn't one of them, the other dark canine couldn't have meant for her to share in their food as well...could he? She shook her head. Even if he had it wasn't her place to eat yet. They were the strongest, they were the ones who ate first. The lesser creatures like her got the scraps, if there were any, because she didn't need to strength like they did. Even the kitties were stronger than her.

As she watched the others feed her stomach gnawed at itself, an audible groan wrenching itself from her against her will. It wouldn't do to show any more weakness in front of these Pokemon, they might think her a burden and toss her out in the storm again. She didn't want to go out there again, not yet. "So what's your name, stranger?" Ciara nearly jumped from the floor in surprise. The large purple dino was gruff and scary looking, and he still looked very hungry. Did he want to eat her, too? "Uh...I-I'm...Ciara...P-please, please don't eat me..."
