I've been haring a lot of reports recently regarding people losing posts, normally through Forumotion not working correctly when attempting to send. This has been a long running issue with the site, and with the recent updates to Epidemic, the problem has only gotten worse. I'm making this announcement to remind users NOT to write their posts on EJ itself, but to instead write it in a notepad or something similar.

Here are a couple resources, recommended by various other staff members.

    • https://writer.bighugelabs.com/ -- This is the one used by Suicune himself, it automatically saves your writing, so even in the event of a computer crash, your post is saved
    • http://notepad-plus-plus.org/ -- This is what I personally use, for both posting and for staff work. It's really nice if you deal with a lot of coding, such as HTML
    • https://beta.etherpad.org/ --This is a nother resource that saves your writing on input. You can also link others to your pad, allowing them to edit it (great if you want your post proofread before it goes up

Those are the three that I have, if anyone uses something different, please feel free to share it below.

A resource I use rather often is https://titanpad.com

It is similar to Etherpad, but more user friendly.
