Questions regarding the new ranking system (CLOSED)

I was wondering, now that there's a new display does that mean there is a new ranking system? And if so, how will badges come into play? And will this affect the level cap on characters and what the shop offers to a user?

I reckon the admins will make an announcement sooner or later about the whole thing and explain it then, so the best thing to do right now is sit back and wait for them to release info. c:
