History:
Linger was born the smallest of her Eevee siblings, which was the subject of many jokes and teasing over her childhood. At that time, she was known simply as Feather. Because she had throat and muscle problems, Linger could not run, and had trouble breathing. She couldn't fight, hunt, do anything that was required for a wild Eevee to survive, and eventually was abandoned by her family when she was much older. Miserable over being left behind and her inability to be of any worth, Linger decided from that moment onward that she would never be the companion of any living being again. The Eevee spent her time in dark forests and damp caves, and after awhile, she learned to be secretive and avoid others that came across her hiding places. When she took refuge in a burned-out tower no humans went into anymore, Linger discovered a bright, flame-red stone that caused her to evolve. Even if she still could not run, Linger enjoyed her new legs and appearance as a Flareon. The tower became a permanent home for Linger-it had been burned down, and the new Flareon was drawn to the place because of that. It was quiet and peaceful most of the time, but at other moments, Linger would train herself and build up her strength, often fighting other Pokemon in the tower. It took a lot of work for Linger to reach the level of power she had then, but the real test came when humans invaded her home looking for legendary Pokemon. Linger had heard of the three beasts that supposedly lived at the bottom floor of the tower, but she had gone down there and not seen a thing. That rumor was likely made up by foolish humans, and since they had taken over her home in a search for Legendaries, Linger knew it was time to move.

The Flareon traveled to many locations, but she finally found the perfect, lonely place-Union Cave. Linger quickly settled in the lower floors, away from humans that crossed through the cave. There was safe drinking water down there, too, and Linger loved Union Cave just as much as she had loved the burned tower. Soon after she had came into the cave, Linger noticed that many of the cave-dwelling Pokemon were acting extremely strange, becomingly hostile and having some sort of skin problem. They were....rotting, and eating others. But Linger could not escape, a rampaging Onix had buried the only entrances she knew of, and the Flareon stayed down in the lower levels. Linger managed to avoid catching the spreading disease, until a Glaceon somehow found her in the cave. Forgetting her vow to keep away from others, Linger began to talk with the Glaceon, who was actually from a region called Sinnoh. Though he had no name, Linger called him 'Shiver,' since the Glaceon was an Ice-type. Little did she know, Shiver held that uncurable disease, and after some time past, he became violent and had a hunger for the flesh of others. Linger was terrified, but when she tried to escape from Shiver, he attacked and clawed at her ears and legs. The Flareon escaped through the water in the cave basement, but now Linger held that virus.

When she began to experience the effects of that disease, Linger blamed herself for breaking that vow. She had lingered too long with Shiver, and shed her old name, Feather. To the Flareon, it was her lingering that brought this, and now she was truly Linger. When Linger died, and lost herself to the virus, she stayed in that cave, hoping for Shiver to return to her. Shiver and Linger, fire and ice.

User Notes:
- Even in her infection, Linger prefers to be in lonely places, though this could change as her infection progresses to her inevitable death.
- Is still waiting for Shiver to return to her, though it is most likely he is dead by now.
- Has many purple patches because she is a Fire-type, and her infection took hold very quickly.
- Adopted! : )

:3 Yeah, Linger looked awesome, so I thought why not? XD I can tell RPing with her will be fun. :P

You will have to update it to show the level and age of the pokemon, as fitting our current profile standards. Appearance and Personality are not required on infected/undead yet so don't worry about those fields.

Also, since it is an adoption, did you change one of the listed moves from the original because of your level cap? If so, you did the right thing.
