Ethana the Charizard [xxx, xxx]

Ethana was once the starter pokémon of a trainer starting out on his journey. She was a bit stubborn, and didn't make life easy for him, but even so they had a great time together and laughed. She didn't want to evolve from a Charmander, having seen other starters after they'd been out for a while come back and be so different from how they used to be, but durring a battle against a tough foe she had no choise and evolved into a Charmeleon. Seeing her emotional pain, her trainer gifted her with a collar that had an everstone hanging from it, making sure she wouldn't evolve once more. Thus, they were once more happy.

It didn't last however. One day, her trainer caught another pokémon in the wild, and was thrilled with the new catch. So instead of switching one of the other pokemons on his team, he send Ethana to the professor for a while. She didn't think too much of it, she'd seen his other pokémon beign send here as well, but he usually picked them up again. But after a while, she still hadn't either heard or seen anything of him, she realized what had happened: she'd been replaced. He wasn't going to use her anymore for battles, or take care of her.

This didn't please her at all. Deciding to take her fait in her own claws, she burst out of her pokéball at night, took it as well as a bag she found lying around and went off. She didn't care what anyone was going to say, if her trainer wasn't going to use her anymore, she was going to go out there and get stronger herself, maybe even find another trainer that would do better for her.

After a few months of travel, the epidemic hit the regions. She was scared of this, travelling a lot more careful after seeing another fire type loose it's mind due to the infection. She met some other pokémons at Cerulean City. Durring an attack there, she lost her everstone and evolved, as she was protecting a friend. Fleeing the town with the new friend, they lost each other. Miyu, the Eevee's name, had gone to sleep and Ethana heard something she needed to investegate to make sure they were safe.

Once she was back however, Miyu was gone. Not liking this, wanting to be around someone she knows as well as her friend, she took off to find her friend. She had no idea, however, how long this search was going to be.
