History:
Riley was bred in captivity in Olivine City, but unlike his brothers and sisters, the Gligar had no interest in fighting; he preferred to help others and to heal. He was the laughingstock of his family, but Riley never minded because the nurse of Olivine's PokeCenter allowed him to work there, even giving him TMs for different moves Riley couldn't learn alone. He helped many injured and sick Pokemon, and the little Gligar was a gifted healer. Even though he was young and afraid of the dark, he was not afraid to see the worst cases brought to them, and there were a lot. Something about Riley's bright smile and eyes always gleaming with mischief that gave him a boyish quality raised the spirits of the patients. But Riley was still young when the virus hit, and Pokemon and people alike swarmed into the PokeCenter. The nurse and Riley helped as many as they could, but supplies ran low and something...different was happening to the sick patients. When the Pokemon began to attack others, both human and Pokemon, they killed the Olivine nurse and left Riley alone. He fled Olivine, but as he traveled through Johto searching for uninfected ones, Riley encountered an infected Houndoom still in the contagious stage that spread the virus to the little Gligar....but he is still alive, yet infected.
