Shiny Pokemon

So I was wondering, to require a shiny ticket they must have more than 25% of their body differently colored, right? I was wondering, in the rp, if they got say, their tail cut off or whatever that had the different colours on them, would they then still require a shiny ticket?
Because my character, Acht the Aerodactyl, got her wings severely burned and she no longer has markings on her wings now. The only different coloured part about her is now her tail, which are only stripes.

It is 25% of the existing pokemon.
So if everything was torn off that was oddly colored, that doesn't make them oddly colored anymore.

So then would Acht still be considered 'Shiny'?
