Raz watched in amazement on how easily Jiru lifted himself into the air, as if he had done it before. Raz couldn't stop smiling at the fact that they were actually going to get off the islands. He jumped for joy. Finally, after Jiru had practiced he came and picked up Raz. He kind of grunted when he picked him and Raz thought, Am I that fat? Then they started to fly. It was awesome to be in the air, feeling the breeze in hid leaf. Jiru must have been having just as much fun as Raz because he was smiling too. They started to fly toward Cianwood City but took a sharp turn which confused Raz. Wha? Raz thought. Hey! he shouted at Jiru, Where are we going!

Gabbo yawned and looked down at the pup beside him. Uteki looked back at him with wide eyes before attempting to run into the water. Gabbo grabbed his little tail and pulled him back before placing a rock on his tail. "Calm down squeaker" he said before stretching. The Swampert squinted out to sea seeing a Charizard carrying a Bayleef? Gabbo stood up on his back legs and waved his arms. "Hey down here! Are you alive" Gabbo yelled hoping he could hear. He scooped Uteki up on his head and squinted more hoping to catch the dragon's attention. If not Gabbo could throw a rock at it...

Jiru loved the feel of the wind beneath his wings as he glided over route 40. He felt like spreading out his arms as well if he wasn’t holding onto Raz. The Charizard had never felt so free before. If only he had become this sooner, before all this happened, then everything would have been better. Though it wouldn’t have changed anything. The epidemic would have still happened, and his trainer would have still abandoned him thinking he was infected.
He let out a sigh as he remember the terrified look on his trainers face as he released him and fled, he even started to wonder if he was still alive, though seeing the panic in his eyes, he doubted that.

“Hey! Where are we going!” Jiru hardly heard Raz question through the wind, but looked down at the Bayleef who was looking up at him.
“To Goldenrod.” Jiru replied to the question. “There could be food and shelter there, and lots of buildings to rest on top of.” He added as the city came into view, making the dual type smile. He hadn’t been to Goldenrod in a long time. Not since the epidemic first broke out.
Jiru had seeked shelter in the city, but it wasn’t as safe as he first thought, and ended up with the scar on his face as a result.

It didn’t take long before they where over the city and Jiru started to descend near the pokemon center, his wings flapping till he was close enough to the ground and realised Raz. He suddenly felt so much lighter now as well before he landed next to the grass type and looked around. Everything looked safe enough. Though you should never judge everything you see in this forsaken world anymore.
“Keep your senses open Raz, you never know what could be lurking around.” Jiru warned to the Bayleef as he raised his head, taking in the sights.

Goldenrod City | Afternoon (24)

Was that a Swampert?!?! Raz thought making sure Jiru didn't stop, What the heck, well I shouldn't bother it, it might hurt me. Then he thought of Jiru's answer to push the thought of the Swampert away, Goldenrod, why Goldenrod, other than the hiding spots? When they landed, Jiru told Raz to keep his senses up. Raz listened and got into battle stance. Raz now thinks he is almighty and strong because of Frenzy Plant, and the Pokemon are a perfect level for him. He doesn't even know how he survived Whirl Islands. Raz started to walk and gestured for Jiru to follow him to the Pokemon Center for food. When he reached for the door with his head to push it open, an Undead Ralts burst out. Hey Jiru, Raz said to Jiru dodging the Ralts first attack easily, do you wanna take this little guy?

Olivine Beach|Afternoon (2)

Gabbo growled and dove into the waters following the jet lines from the Charizard flying over. Uteki squealed alerting him to a Tentacruel tailing them. Gabbo snapped his jaws open and shot it down with Mud Shot. The Goldenrod Radio Tower came into view and Gabbo was severely grateful since the longer he was in water the higher of a chance Uteki tried his drowning with style skills. He tore the barricade apart and climbed onto land. Uteki clapped his tiny paws together before rolling off of the Swampert's head. "Squeaker don't go far" Gabbo said before trying to find where the Bayleef toting Charizard went. Uteki had however already crawled around the corner smelling the sweet fragrance of the Bayleef's head leaf. Gabbo whipped his head in the Oshawott's direction and charged after him just as an Undead Houndoom got the same idea. "Uteki" he cried just as the infected hound pounced in the Swampert's direction.

Uteki gurgled happily as he caught sight of the Charizard and Bayleef from earlier. He squealed before crawling faster towards them. Uteki bumped his tiny head on the Charizard's leg before sitting back on his bottom and looking up at the dragon. He squealed loudly to try and capture the dragon's attention unaware that Gabbo was behind him fighting off an undead Houndoom and winning. Gabbo grabbed the rabid hell hound's neck and slammed its head on the bloodied concrete killing it. He carefully crawled up behind Uteki and sat down unbeknownst to the Charizard and Bayleef. "Oi... You sure were difficult to follow Mr. Firetail Dragon" Gabbo barked.

Goldenrod City | Afternoon (25)

Jiru had seemed a little distracted so Raz did the job of killing the Ralts with a Tackle attack. Then, Raz heard a tiny squeal from Jiru's leg. Raz looked down to see a baby Oshawott sitting down looking at Jiru happily. Awwwwwwwwww... Raz said, Well aren't you the cutest thing. Raz loved cute, living things. They made him feel happy. What didn't make him happy was the Swampart that scared the leaves out of Raz. "Oi... You sure were difficult to follow Mr. Firetail Dragon" He seemed to be talking to Jiru. Then the thought occurred to him, These were the Pokemon that Raz saw when Jiru and Raz were flying! Hey, I saw you, when, when me and my friend were FLYING! Raz said excitedly. Raz was sure glad that they followed them because (1) The Swampert seems pretty strong according to the dead corpse of a Houndoom in the back, (2) The Oshawott was cute, and (3) Raz loved having new friends. So Raz introduced himself, Sorry to not introduce myself earlier but, my name is Raz.

Gabbo grinned widely at the Bayleef. "Yup that was us on the beach" he said. The Bayleef introduced himself as Raz next. "Nice to meetcha Raz I'm Gabbo and" he started before lifting Uteki up to to Raz's face. "And this is Uteki" he continued. Gabbo was curious of course why they'd be here in a big city. "Ya know when this whole Dawn of the Dead Pokemon started... Goldenrod was the first to go so what'd you come here for" Gabbo asked actually quite curious seeing as how large cities that were framed by not one but two large forests was like slitting your wrists and leaping into a Sharpedo tank. However maybe one of them saw something in this city that didn't spell death trap over easy...

Uteki looked up at the Bayleef and squealed happily at it. He wanted to cling to its leg and maybe chomp on its leg with his fang-less mouth but Gab-Gab came back. Uteki waved his small arms at his care taker before he was lifted up to the Bayleef's face. He clapped his tiny paws and leaned forward to sniff the Bayleef's face. Uteki declared this Bayleef uninfected and awesome before giving him a lick on his nose. He sat back in Gab-Gab's hand uninterested in what they were talking about. A spit bubble formed in his mouth only to be popped on his fang startling him greatly. His attention was drawn to the top of the Goldenrod Dept Store where a flock of the smelly black birds sat watching them. Uteki waggled his tail and looked back at Raz watching the leaf on his head curiously.

Goldenrod City | Afternoon (26)

Gabbo and Uteki, nice names. Gabbo had asked why Raz and Jiru were here, but this was Jiru's idea, and all Raz got out of it was they were here for protection from the roof tops. Um, I think there is food in the Pokemon Center, Raz finally said after the almost cuddles with Uteki. Uteki then looked up then stared at Raz's leaf that was on top of his head. Raz then went inside to search for food. He went behind the counter and there were 5 Oran berries. He picked them up and then went outside to show the others. Raz then used Synthesis to make them a bit bigger, then ate one. Eat up guys, he said with his mouth full, It's delicious!

Goldenrod City|Afternoon(4)

Gabbo picked up one of the berries and peeled the tough flesh off of it. He smashed it up to a soft mush and held it up to Uteki. "Uteki still has no fangs so he can't bite and chew up berries very easily" Gabbo said with a grin. He took a quick glance around feeling vibrations in the ground. Something was nearby. Gabbo shook his head. "So Raz you meet any unfriendly zombies in the pass year" he asked jokingly. Gabbo had stuck to the beach of Olivine for the pass year eating crabs and berries that he managed to find. Fighting off Tentacruel and whatever thought they were uncool bros took it out of him though.

Uteki happily stuffed his cheeks full of the mush and looked back up to Raz with his cheeks puffed out. He swallowed difficultly before drumming his paws on his scalchop. Uteki would show Raz he was powerful like Gab-Gab! He padded out into the street and looked around spotting a Houndour. Uteki squealed loudly at it and charged at it only for Gab-Gab to pick him up. "Now now Uteki play nice with the other kids" Gabbo said. Uteki only pouted.

Goldenrod City | Afternoon (27)

Raz knew that Gabbo was joking but he couldn't help being mad. Of course he met a lot of unfriendly undead, they all are unfriendly. But his mind wandered off the non-important comment from Gabbo and watched little Uteki, cheeks puffed up from food and resting on Gabbo. Uteki was so cute. Then, little Uteki waddled out on to the road a was about to charge at a Houndour. What! Raz scream momentarily, but stopped after Gabbo picked him up and told him not to go. Raz wished he hadn't screamed and glad Uteki didn't attack because that was a toddling undead Houndour that was part of a Pack of undead! Ummm, Gabbo, Raz studdered, HELP! he screamed as the Houndour charged at them all.

Gabbo laughed at the pack of undead Houndour. "Dawwww look it the puppies" he said before standing between them and Raz. "Can the puppies swim" Gabbo asked before washing them all away with Muddy Water. He dusted off his hands before punching the ground. A large crack from Earthquake opened up swallowing the Houndour. "Note to self: Houndour can't swim or handle being dropped into a giant hole" Gabbo said with a snicker before turning to Raz. He sat back and poked Uteki's belly. "What did we learn" Gabbo asked.

Uteki clapped his small paws happily as Gab-Gab made the smelly dogs go away. He wanted to try too. Uteki saw a bug on the ground. "Grrrrr wott wott" he said. Uteki shot Scald at the bug and crawled back to see if he had made it go away. No the bug was still there! It was coming after him! Uteki squeaked and crawled away behind Raz to watch the bug crawl away. "Grrrr nuu" he growled.

Jiru hadn’t been paying much attention as the new pokemon, showed up, introducing themselves as Gabbo and Uteki. He was to busy thinking of there next move. They where finally off the islands and in goldenrod city, but what next? Where does he plan to go from here?
He turned to look at Raz, who was obviously probably going to tag along with the dual type, and what of these new pokemon? What did they want with coming to them? Swampert, and Oshawott, both water type starters.
Raz seemed to have taken a liking to the Oshawott, telling from it’s size and behaviour, it was probably an infant, a baby. Jiru felt sorry for the young pokemon, and how it had to grow up in this death filled world.

“My name is Shinjiru, though everyone just calls me Jiru.” The Charizard introduced himself to the new pokemon after he realized he hadn’t done so yet. Raz said he saw them when they where flying, but Jiru hadn’t noticed them, he was to focused on keeping them airborne.
“Did you follow us here for a reason?” He asked, wanting to know why they decided to follow them instead of staying where they where. Though such a question was stopped why a pack of Houndour. Jiru was ready to dispose of them, but the Swampert beat him to it, shooting them with Muddy Water then sending them into a crater with Earthquake. He was definitely strong, so maybe having him around wasn’t such a bad idea.

Goldenrod City | Late Afternoon (28)

Raz marveled at the strength of Gabbo. He was so strong, especially with his Earthquake. Now that Raz had seen Gabbo's power, he wants them on the team. Then, little Uteki used a Scald on a bug, and then got scared when it chased him. Jiru had introduced himself after his puzzled face disappeared and asked why they followed them. Raz then thought of something, Jiru needs his food. Hey, Jiru. Here take this giant Oran berry, you need it. Raz said. After he pointed to Jiru's food, Raz went inside again for sleep. He was exhausted, he only had a little nap while Jiru was practicing his flying. Raz entered a room with two beds in it. He then pushed them together and jumped up. He lied down and fell asleep instantly. His dream was about living in the world after the epidemic, he has these a lot, and he and Jiru were like brothers and were exploring the Unova region. But then, a scary Dark type Pokemon came toward them. One that Raz hadn't seen before. It came at them, jumped onto Raz and and, sliceed his throat with it's claw.

Raz woke up startled. His throat was dry and he needed water. He went behind the counter and found some water bottles. He then drank from them, and passed out again.

Gabbo cracked his large knuckles before blinking. "Well we saw you on the beach and its common knowledge that there's strength in numbers and watching you fly here got me wondering my friend" he said before retrieving a whiteboard and marker from the Pokemon Center. "Ya see I'd understand if you went to say Cianwood cause the worse thing there is the Safari Zone but you block that cave and you'll be safe but... Here in Goldenrod you got street Pokemon, forest Pokemon and sky Pokemon coming at you the second they get wind of this place and us being here. Is there something here you're after? Is that why you're here" Gabbo asked before stowing the marker and board. He had handled himself this long so a city of Undead was nothing to him but however spares and liabilities could jeopardize being alive very easily...

Uteki squealed seeing that the dragon had finally responded. He rubbed his tiny paws over Jiru's large foot. "Grr wott wott" Uteki gurgled simply fascinated by Jiru's claws and color. "Jirrrr... Jirrr" he growled struggling to say Jiru's name. Uteki patted Jiru's foot and looked up at him. "Jirrrr" he growled again before chomping on his scalchop with his fangless mouth.

"I know that Goldenrod isn't the safest place, but I wanted to get to the mainland, not to another island." Jiru said as he turned to Raz, who was offering him an Oran berry he had found in the pokemon center. The Charizard simply nodded in thanks before taking it.
"Your free to tag along with us, if you can keep up." Jiru added as he took a bite out of the Berry. He couldn’t help but let out a sigh of satisfaction, it had been awhile since he had last eaten anything. The islands of whirl where not known for growing plants, amazing he hadn’t starved to death.
Jiru hadn’t even noticed his hunger the whole time they were on the islands, he was always to preoccupied with just wanting to get off.

The sound of grrring made the Charizard look down, only to see the Oshawott at his feet, who seemed to be trying to say Jiru’s name. He couldn’t help but smile at it. He hadn’t seen an infint pokemon in a long time and forgot how cute they could be, but he still felt sorry that it had to grow up in this kind of world. Hopefully, it will all end soon, and he can grow up living a normal life where he isn’t running from anything.

His dream, well he didn't have one just...static. He woke up with drool on his face. It was his. Ewwww, Raz said in disgust with himself. He walked around to the healing station which made him cry a bit. It only made him cry because that is where his Trainer last took him to heal. Raz then gasped at a thought of when he was a bit younger before the Whirl Islands. National Park. There was a safe haven there, if Jiru, Raz, Gabbo and Uteki get there, they wouldn't have to worry about DYING. Raz jumped up and down in excitement. He ran outside and told the group all about the safe place. Come on guys, we need to get there. Raz said tripping over himself.

Gabbo blinked at the mention of safe haven. There had been whispers of safe haven before and they ended up to be traps. Olivine's ports had been rumored as a safe place but Gabbo had watched living Pokemon go into those ports and either come out infected or not at all. He thought about it and scratched his head. The National Park did have a few exits. Violet City... Ecruteak City... Gabbo nodded to Raz and looked at Jiru. "So the National Park" he asked to inquire. Gabbo had never taken Uteki to a park and this was a chance to train Uteki some more. "I'll faithfully follow and protect you my comrades to the ends of the Earth" he said before winking.

Uteki looked up just as Jiru looked down at him. "Jirrr bloo " he growled referring to the dragon's blue eyes. Uteki rolled over on his back and chomped on his foot just wanting something in his mouth. Uteki jumped up and opened his mouth licking around til he found it. There was one sharp fang coming in through his gum. He grasped Gabbo's foot and gurgled in his discovery. Uteki had gotten his first tooth! He reached into his mouth trying to get the fang. "Toof Jirrrr... Toof" Uteki gurgled with a mouthful of paw and drool. Now maybe he could chomp on other things with his new fang.

Jiru stared at Raz as he told them about the Safe haven in the National Park, was there really a safe place there? "Come on guys, we need to get there." Raz said, definitely eager. He figured the only way to get him to stop was to go along.
"I don't know if this place is safe or not, but it's better then standing around doing nothing." Jiru said, showing that he would go along for now. "But I'm not carrying anyone." He added, swishing his tail, the flame at it's tip flickering. There was no way her was going to carry Raz again, and there was definitely no way he was carrying Gabbo, but he didn't mind the Oshawott, who was now playing around with his new tooth.

"We should find a place to rest first though, I don't think it wise to move around in the dark." Jiru said as he walked over to the pokemond center. Raz had been going in and out of the place, so it had to have been safe to rest there, as long as they had someone to keep watch.

Goldenrod City | Late Afternoon (30)

Raz was eager to go, but he knew Jiru would stand his ground and want to sleep. So Raz dashed in to the Pokemon Center before anyone else so he could show them the rooms they can sleep in and avoided the rooms that have been wrecked and ruined. After that, he went to his own room, cuddled up with the sheet and pillow, and slept.

Goldenrod City | Early Morning

When Raz awoke, it was around sunrise. So to be productive, he went to cook breakfast for everyone. He found more Oran Berries and some dough. He then went to find a heat source of some kind to make Oran Berry Pancakes. For Uteki, he peeled the skin, and put it on a small plate. When they were finished, it was around the time of early morning-mid morning, and Raz called out, Wake up everyone, BREAKFAST!

Gabbo bumped Uteki into the Pokemon Center and shut the door behind him. "Bunker down I'll watch" he said. Gabbo's eyes were made to see in even the murkiest of waters so darkness was nothing to him. Uteki gurgled happily and found a stocking to snuggle in behind the front desk. He yawned and rubbed his small nose before going to sleep. Gabbo grinned and hung the stocking up with Uteki in it. "Little weirdo" he said before wandering back to the window.

Goldenrod City|Early Morning

Uteki squealed at the smell of food and struggled within the confines of the stocking. He poked his head out. "Jirrrrrrr" Uteki growled before falling back into the stocking. How did he get up off the ground? "Jirrrr..? Razzzz" Uteki squeaked. Gabbo yawned slightly looking at the sun coming up. He had been up since the others had gone off to bed and now he just wanted... To sleep... Just as he started to drift off, he heard Raz yell for breakfast. Gabbo grumbled and closed his eyes. Later...

Jiru woke up to the sounds of Raz yelling, as though the grass type didn’t know the meaning of quite. It was no wonder they kept running into undead, they just followed the Bayleef who didn’t know how to keep it’s mouth shut.
Letting out a yawn, the Charizard stood up and stretching. He had slept on one of the old beds that trainers slept in when they stopped for the night, they where the comfiest, but they where better then the hard ground to them her guessed. Jiru really didn’t care where he slept, but he wanted something soft to sleep on for a change.

Walking out in front of the main counter, he looked around, making sure the area was secure. He knew Gabbo had kept watch, but he felt he should have a look around anyway. Everything seemed ok though, he thought anyway.

((Sorry for the short post, I really don’t know what to have him do.))

Raz was bit confused when only Jiru came out of the many bedrooms. Jiru, your Food is over there, he said as he pointed to where the food was. Jiru had the most of course. So, since Gabbo and Uteki didn't come out, Raz would bring them their food. Once Raz entered the room he noticed that only Gabbo was in there. Raz then walked up to Gabbo, set the plate down and woke him up. Hey Gabbo. Where's Uteki? he said to him as he was waking up.

Gabbo snickered at the Bayleef's question. He pointed at the stocking with the confused little Oshawott in it. "I stuffed him in a stocking last night to sleep. This was Gabbo' sense of humor. "I'm sure he'll need rescuing" Gabbo said with a yawn before scratching his belly.

Uteki again attempted escape only to fall back into the trap of the stocking. "Jirrrrr..? Raaaaaaaz" he squeaked trying to alert them to his presence. Uteki did not being in the stocking of doom and would very much like to get out of it.

Raz chuckled at Gabbo for putting Uteki in the stocking. Raz said as he was walking to help him, Well, I'm guessing he wants out now! He laughed again. When he reached Uteki, Raz slipped his head in and grabbed Uteki by the scruff. He then pulled him out and set him on the counter. Hey little dude, Raz said happily, Are you hungry? He then fed little Uteki and picked him up again to bring him to Gabbo. When he reached Gabbo he said, after setting down Uteki, How long have you know each other? If the answer was, not long, then Raz can be a 2nd daddy, but if it's, "I've known him since an egg", then Uteki wouldn't want to leave Gabbo.

((OoC:GAWD! Next Time! I Will post good posts again! Take my word for it. And hopefully it was okay that Raz did a little more than helping Uteki out of the stocking.))

Gabbo blinked at Raz's question but wasn't going to lie. "My trainer got him as an egg in Unova and I had to hatch him and look after him ever since... Especially now that she's gone" he said before poking Uteki's belly. Gabbo didn't mention that when Uteki hatched he hogged all of their trainer's attention and made him want to crush him. But Uteki had grown on Gabbo like a scar you want to have covered but you end up realizing how much it defines you and how weird you would be without it. Uteki was the scar over Gabbo's heart and would never go away.

Uteki squealed happily when Raz rescued him and fed him. He also approved of being brought up in conversation and sat back to listen. He remembered Gab-Gab and the human creature hatching him. There were fleeting memories of Gab-Gab leaving him places but always stepping in to keep any other Pokemon from so much as breathing on him. That was why Uteki loved Gab-Gab. He kept him safe and never turned a blind eye to something Uteki needed.
