Lumi was not at all comforted by Aegis. When he pointed out that the two were together, the Lumineon felt his fins twitch slightly with irritation. As well as a darker emotion. Something he didn't want to admit, after all he was a grown up no, right? But he watched with slightly narrowed pink eyes as the Kabutops suddenly shot up in the air with an amazing jet of water. Lumi fiddled awkwardly, moving closer to the Lapras without even realizing it. Too much time seemed to pass before his friend returned, dropping through the water to regaurd the fish. Horror began to make Lumi's eyes widen. Wider and wider his eyes began and by the time Aegis shook his head, it seemed that all hell was going to suffocate him. "Zeqme and Lucy are gone. I don't see them anywhere, down here or up there."

No.

Lumi could only stare at the shellfish for several seconds, completely uncomprehending. How could he be so calm?! The anceint Pokemon acted as if he didn't even care! Lumi heard the undead female beside him speak and he jumped, completely unawear of being so close. "...Who are they?" Her voice sounded unused and painful, even to the Lumineon, but he did not respond. He would feel guilty later but at that moment only Lucy mattered. Lamialuce. His first real friend since losing his family. He had to find her.

Krenari's voice did not help. It drifted to him despite through space and water. "No, I haven't." It floored the fish and he turned to face her direction despite through the water. His eyes had gone from horror to a completely innosent child's pain. The sadness made it suddenly hard to breath and tears began to come out of his eyes, disolving into the water but getting the point across. He looked desperately to Aegis, his gaze suddenly much younger than could have been imagined. "She... she will come back, w-won't she? Aegis?" His voice was small, a weak whisper of a plea. But he took comfort in Agegis. He would know.

Right?

So Pride hadn't seen them either... It seemed they had gone. Just... disappeared. Aegis felt pity for them both, knowing that in this world, disappearing usually meant death. However, he knew that, as much as he didn't like to think of it, Lucy was better off dead than undead. Better for her, better for the rest of them. Lumi obviously didn't see the logic in it, however. Of course. Despite his evolution, he was still young. The ammount of trama he had gone through in the passed few hours had been imense. Aegi's heart went out to the poor little fish.

"I'm sure she will. Both of them." Even though he knew in his heart they would likely never see them again, he spoke the words. There was no use upsetting Lumi further. "Perhaps if we head to the League, they'll meet us there." They had wasted enough time. It was time to get moving again.

The Lapras watched with an apathetic face as the Lumineon proceeded to have an internal breakdown. Who was this Lucy? Was she really that important to the little fish? The Lapras didn't care so much for such close relationships anymore; she had figured they were useless, long ago, even when her heart had still been beating. "Lucy" must've been very close to Lumi, if he reacted in such a way. Kvove slowly looked up and tilted her head at Lumi, seeing the light in his eyes change from horror into something akin to pain, but not just any pain. Kvove twitched slightly, remembering, in a haze, a similar expression coming over her face several times in her childhood, a little innocent brat, carrying that childish look of absolute heartbreak when she had been separated from her mother.

A stab of feeling passed through the Lapras, something she supposed may have been "sympathy" or perhaps even "empathy", if she knew how to describe it. The dinosaur pokémon drifted a little closer to the Lumineon and opened her mouth, a smooth, echoing sound streaming out of the pale, slightly bleeding maw. It was a sweet, calming sound that poured from such a mutilated opening as Kvove began to Sing softly, her voice unmarred and clean unlike when she spoke. It was a lullaby her mother had taught the Lapras since young, the one she had been singing all of her life; so often she sang it, that she still remembered the basic tune even after death. Calm down... it's going to be alright...

"I'm sure she will. Both of them." The words had meaning, the Kabutops really did care. The Lumineon regaurded him with upbeat, hopeful eyes. He began to allow joy to enter his gaze again, a smile even, but Aegis was not done. "Perhaps if we head to the League, they'll meet us there." There was something wrong with that suggestion. Something Lumi just could not place. His eyes lost the light they had only just earned again. He tried to catch the Kabutops' eye and failed. His heart clentched again. Was there something no one was telling him? Confusion made his mind a blur. But then it all calmed. The chaos within his head stilled as a song began to vibrate through the water.

Lumineon turned ever so slightly, his eyes wide with awe as he regaurded the Lapras. The beautiful sounds were coming from her. The tears began to flow again through him, but this time they were of joy. Of releif. The song seemed to wrap around the fish's body, hugging him and making him feel safe.

Without even thinking the fish shot forward, barreling right into the exposted chest of the Lapras, burying his face into her scaley skin. It was cold and dead but it still comforted him. Just like the touch of another. But that no longer mattered, his eyes opened to slits. Lumineon gave one more fishy hug before backing up. He met her eyes, smiling. "Thank you," he whispered before turning back to Aegis. His eyes were harder then, steeled with determination as he nodded. "Y-yeah! Let's keep going."

Krenari glared down at the group, seeing the newly arrived Lapras. She narrowed her eyes at it, seeing it's cracked shell and blood red eyes.
"Another infected...."
Krenari's glace softened, hearing the pokemon start to Sing. Her eyes drooped, an incredible warm feeling washed over her. She felt her infected rage subside, going back into the depths of her heart. Her face softened into a smile, now quietly waiting for them to come and meet her. Now her injuries didn't seem so bad, at least. She calmly waited now, just quietly staring at her feet. Her infection... it was getting worse. She looked over the edge to the pokemon still in the water.
"H... Hey.... What's taking y'all so long?" she called out curiously, in an almost playful tone.

The Lapras had cut off, seeing the liquid running down the fish's eyes, liquid that hadn't come from the river itself. She distantly wondered if she had offended the Lumineon in some way, when the other suddenly snuggled into Kvove's chest, practically tackling her. She flinched and coughed a bit, a slight amount of blood leaking from the corner of her mouth which seemed to be permanently stained red, although blood from mouths seemed almost like a daily routine for Kvove. After a pause, the Lapras looked down at the fish to say he was welcome, not expressed in words but with a weak smile.

Kvove looked up after Lumi left, a new look of determination on his face. An unfamiliar, forgotten feeling welled up inside the Lapras, her mouth involuntarily twitching up into a still smile. Well, it looked like she was still able to be useful, even after death. She raised her head to glance at her surroundings, swimming a little forward to stay close to the Lumineon, as he was who the Lapras trusted most right now. She saw the Vaporeon on the shore and nudged Lumi slightly, gesturing with her head towards the Eeveelution on the shore.

Things had gotten super awkwardly quiet after his words. Lumineon shuffled ever so slightly, a little uncomfortable with how silent Aegis had gone. He was not supprised about the Lapras, she had said literally three years since Lumi had found her. But Lumi allowed his tears to completely dry for a second, not wanting to seem too weak in front of the others. They were in the middle of no where. They could easily be attacked again. Just the thought made Lumi want to sink with exhaustion. The morning seemed so far off now... But then there was movement next to Lumi. He started with slight supprise as the Lapras gently gained his attention with a light touch, motioning for him to look with a toss of her head. The fish blinked slowly, following her gaze. It was Pride.

"H... Hey.... What's taking y'all so long?" The Vaporeon called out to them. Her voice seemed so mellow, almost teasing, and the smile on her face was very unlike what he had seen as of late. He smiled in her direction. Weird, suddenly Lamialuce was shoved out of his head with the infected Vaporeon now in his line of sight. Lumi called to her. "Just a sec! The Lumineon then turned back to the Lapras, barely sparing a glance at the Kabutops. He smiled sweetly at her. "We are heading to the Pokemon League, a ways of a swim from here. You have already proven yourself and we have lost two of our friends... Would you like to come with us?" Lumi smiled innocently up at the dinosaur. Things were getting better. They were.

Kvove tilted her head and stared at the Lumineon, her seemingly naturally deadpanned eyes looking into Lumi's own violet-ish hue. She took a few seconds of her own to mull over his words, her brain working a bit slowly but surely. She barely noticed the sudden lack of voices in Route 223; the Lapras was used to quiet. It was better for her if her surroundings were quiet, anyway; Kvove could get paranoid if there were lots of loud sounds.

"Poké...mon League?" she murmured, her voice back to sore and quiet, very much unlike the one she had sang with earlier. Kvove had been born a wild pokémon, and raised in a secluded laboratory, and she had never heard of this 'Pokémon League'. But surely, it was better than what she was doing now; wandering around aimlessly until she would die again. She looked hesitant for a moment, before a weak smile found its way onto her face. Her head nodded slightly, nearly not noticeable, but that was her entire answer: yes, she'd go with Lumineon and his friends.

Lumi stared up expectantly at the Lapras. She was so much different than he had always imagined their species, but that was hardly really supprising. Many things were different compared to when he was very young. Lumineon's face fell slightly, recalling the reality that he really was an adult now. He was suppose to be stronger, be smarter, know what to do! He still felt as lost as when he was with Lucy, yesterday, when they first met... Had it really only been yesterday that Lumi had been a little kid? Fin the child?

He shook his head, pushing that from his mind as he turned back t the Lapras. he forced another smile to his face, trying to keep up the upbeat illusion. He watched as the dinosaur clearly hesitated, her expression not giving him any clues to her ture thoughts. He immediately regretted asking her to come; what if she had her own agenda? What if she didn't even like him? What if she thought he was just some annoying kid? He flinched away from the last thought, but his dispear was shoved away as she turned to him, a smile on her face. It was small but clear. With a nod, Lumi felt his world perking up.

"Yay!" Lumineon cried happily, his fins swirving to and fro in the soft currents around him. "Then let's go! We will have to much fun-! Oh! If you don't mind me asking... What is your name, miss?" The fish turned to regaurd the Lapras with a small smile, slowly making his way over to pride, but not wanting to be rude.

(OoC: Please skip because I have nothing at all to do. Krenari nodded at Lumi.)

Why did Lumi have to keep making friends with the Undead? Aegis knew that eventually they'd have to kill each other, and it wouldn't be pretty the more they got to know each other. But Krenari seems to be sane? He thought to himself. Perhaps. Regardless, he would keep a close eye on Lumi. No need to let himself meet a friend that would eat him in moments. The Newcomer seemed safe enough, and Aegis said very little, letting Lumi and the large turtle talk. Thinking back, however, he realized it had been Lucy who had wanted to go to the League in the first place. It still didn't seem like a wise idea, but he hadn't spoke up earlier so as not to hurt Lucy's feelings. However, now that she was gone... How to break it to Lumi though?

"Lumi.." He spoke softly. "Perhaps... Perhaps we should go somewhere other than the League. It's landlocked up there, and the higher we go up, the stronger the enemies are going to get. There's nothing we need up there." Thinking quickly, he added, "and I'm sure Lucy will meet us somewhere else once she sees what she needs to up there." Hopefully he wouldn't take it too badly, but it just wasn't safe.

Kvove tilted her head at the Lumineon, her neck bones cracking out of stiffness but the Lapras didn't appear to have noticed. Her fins lazily swirled through the mostly clear blue water, the bleeding having stopped and no longer turning the water purple. Her red eyes looked down in thought, her slow mind cranking its gears to remember. Her name. Her name? What was her name? The image of scientists in white coats appeared vaguely in her mind, calling out to her -- but the Lapras immediately shook her head clear. She didn't want to remember them. But at least she remembered what she was called, now.

"Kv... Ko--" The Lapras began to talk, her voice still harsh and practically sandpaper around the edges, completely unlike her singing in any way before breaking off into coughing. Kvove looked down and away from the rest of the pokémon, hesitating yet again. She hated talking, so much. Thankfully, for her, though, the odd brown creature began to talk, distracting the dinosaur pokémon for a moment.

"Lumi... Perhaps... Perhaps we should go somewhere other than the League. It's landlocked up there, and the higher we go up, the stronger the enemies are going to get. There's nothing we need up there... and I'm sure Lucy will meet us somewhere else once she sees what she needs to up there."

Lucy? Who was this Lucy? League? What was a League? Kvove looked over at Aegis with vague eyes, the dull red depths carrying a hint of curiosity. She had questions she couldn't voice well. She tilted her head again, her body motion asking her question; Who?

She felt bitter. She honestly felt bitter. A pink serpent-like Pokemon swam through the endless sea, her mind a blur. It has been like this for days. Mindless swimming. To where? To whom? Why? The questions that will never be answered. Lelita felt like the whole world should mind as well crumble and burn in hell. If the Gorebyss didn't care, then who would? The world was nothing without him. And damn right that was true. Lelita felt her belly rumble in hunger, scrunching her nose as she glared at the middle of her body -- presumed to be the stomach -- practically hissing at it to shut up. Of course, she would prefer to be in her own thoughts, but with hunger eating up her insides. It seemed improbable.

Facing downward to the seafloor, she squinted her eyes in hopes of finding some decent seaweed. Lelita wasn't all that particularly picky upon her food, but she didn't want to turn into those undead chumps. The South Sea Pokemon propelled herself forward, finding a nice salty seaweed fluttering in the sand as if nothing happened. Wonderful. Lelita ate the seaweed without hesitation, her eyes narrowing in every direction in case of an attack. It was always when she was eating or sleeping would she get attacked, but hey, it was a good way to vent her anger out.

So her prediction was right. There it was swimming right towards her. Must be another Magikarp? It seemed quite small and puny. Lelita wanted to laugh, something small and weak, but it's scent reeked of undead. This is what they mean by the strongest survive isn't it?

But it was a complete lie. It wasn't a Magikarp, it was a motherfucking Sharpedo. The South Sea Pokemon flinched, feeling the eyes of a predator lock onto her. The Gorebyss scrunched up her nose in disgust as the scent reeked the area, the edges of her lips curling into a sly smile, "Come at me you lil' fucker." The Sharpedo responded to Lelita's challenge, a roar emitted from its enormous jaws as it tried to snap onto the Gorebyss.

Thank fucking Arceus was she quick! Otherwise she would have been screwed over quite badly. Considering Sharpedo's speed, she's lucky she was able to dodge. She immediately used Iron Defense shortly after the dodge, feeling her skin harden. Perfect, Sharpedo won't leave a bite mark like this. But something was wrong. It felt like there were more around. Undead perhaps? She glanced over to her side, only to see a small group of Pokemon...? Were they living or undead? The scents mingled among each other, and Lelita was too far to see. Squinting her eyes, she could make out nothi--

Her thoughts were interrupted as she felt a great force pound her, her back slamming against a near boulder. Immediately did she let out a screech, Lelita quickly regained herself, glaring at the Sharpedo whom gave a sly smile, "You little SHIT!" With all her anger, she propelled herself against the Shark Pokemon, despite the Rough Skin getting onto her nerves, she ignored it, slamming her tail as hard as she could against the head. Frustration saved her life, she could feel the skull give a sickening crack under the force. Lelita didn't stop herself, however, venting her anger out as she slammed the already-dead Sharpedo.
The Gorebyss glanced down, her tail bloodied from smashing the skull's sharp ends. Most of the skull was now broken thanks to it, "You deserved it," She sneered at the skull. She removed her tail from the body, swimming away from the corpse as she fixed her gaze at the group. In the back of her mind did she wonder if they heard her little fit or not. But then again, who cares. They were probably undead. If they were, she'd be happy to smash them to pieces like every other undead she had murdered.

(OoC: Again, nothing to do. Krenari is just up on the cliffs and can't really hear what they're saying because of the waterfall. If someone could, call her down if we ain't goin' to the League, please? ^^;)

Large noises caught Aegis's attention before he could listen to Lumi's reply. What could be making that kind of sound underwater? Not another Undead, he hoped. But no, just within eyesight was a Gorebyss fighting a Sharpedo, and it seemed to be mauling it. Arceus Damn it... She had to come back, didn't she... Aegis had hoped Lucy had left. It wasn't that he wasn't thankful for her fighting with them, but she was undead. Krenari would turn eventually too. They were all too dangerous. And now they were surrounded by them again. From here, Aegis could see blood soaking the tail of the pink fish. Wait a minute...

Aegis could just barely make out an eye on the fish. So it wasn't Lucy. And yet, it had taken out a Sharpedo on its own. If she wasn't friendly, there could be trouble. "Be careful Lumi." He said quickly. "That isn't Lucy."

The Lapras continued to stare at Aegis for a while, though he had already turned away. Her question was never answered, yet she remained silent, her eyes dulled. Her line of sight slowly followed the Kabutops's, finally registering the sound of violence, yells, and cracks, seeing a pink, eel-like creature thrashing around in the water just a little away.

"YOU LITTLE SHIT!" the Gorebyss screamed, causing Kvove to flinch a bit; the undead Lapras was not a fan of loud sounds, especially screaming. She'd already heard enough of that since the start of the Epidemic. The sight of a bashed in, mutilated Sharpedo drifted into view, the current carrying it away from the shadow of the rocks behind which it hid into Kvove's line of sight, and she craned her long neck to get a better look.

Was that creature "Lucy", that Lumi and Aegis had spoken of? No, it was not; Aegis had just confirmed it. The Gorebyss was not Lucy. But then, who was she? Kvove continued to stare at the eel-like fish, who was apparently glaring at the small group. I wonder... if she's friendly, too...

The blood that covered her tail washed off along with the tides of the water, her cuts and scars much more visible than earlier. She glanced up from her tail towards the group from afar, her eyes hardened as one of the figures quickly mumbled something to the other, irritation filling up, ”Say it to my face BITCH!” She yelled, how rude of them! Talking behind her back like she some sort of stranger… Well she is a stranger, but what the fuck?!

Immediately she swam towards the group, mainly focused on the coming-view of a Kabutops. A vein seemed to pop as her nose scrunched up in anger, ”Look, I don’t care who you are, but don’t you dare fucking talk behind my back!” The Gorebyss turned away with a ‘hmph!’, but her anger seemed much more at ease now that she let it all out. She glanced over at the group, noting a Lumineon (Is the Lumineon a male or a female? Lelita always came to the conclusion they were females, but this one seemed different) and a… ”Why the hell do you have an Undead with you?” She asked, appalled. The South Sea Pokemon had the urge to smash the Laparas to bits just like she did with the Sharpedo, but she seemed rather... friendly? What mindfuckery is this?

She shook her head, ”Actually nevermind,” she mumbled, ”Not my business.” Lelita paused as she eyed the roaring waterfall nearby, her gaze running from the crashing depths to the top where a cave leading to Victory Road stood.”You trying to get your ass up there?” She asked, her tone was suspicious, but she was also somewhat curious of their intentions. Even the Gorebyss herself wanted to go up to Victory Road sometime in her life, but during an Apocalypse where a bunch of Undead is roaming the area? No thanks.

[ooc: Really sorry guys dibxhd But please skip. Just say that Lumi hid behind Aegis in fear.]

Krenari watched them up on the ledge. What could possibly be taking them so long? She saw a Gorebyss swim up. Was Lucy back? Krenari decided to go check it out. She could climb up these god forsaken rocks again. She finally managed to splash into the water, seeing the conversation going on.

"Say it to my face BITCH!"

... What the fuck was going on here. Krenari jolted, looking to the Gorebyss. It had eyes. It wasn't Lucy.

"Look, I don’t care who you are, but don’t you dare fucking talk behind my back! Why the hell do you have an Undead with you? Actually nevermind, not my business. You trying to get your ass up there?"

Krenari blinked. What a little fucking bitch. Krenari's face went into an awful scowl. She quickly dashed over.
"Well, what the fuck is going on here?" Krenari sneered to the Gorebyss, but then looked to the group. "Weren't we going, guys? Or did you change your minds?" she said rather politely to the rest of the group. This Gorebyss was not good with her. If there is someone this pissed off, she would not be able keep her sanity around them. She would rip off their head. And this fish seemed to be a good target to her. She was feeling hungry for flesh anyway. "You better believe that if I have something to say, I'll say it your face, bitch." she mentally cussed at the pink eel.

The Lapras narrowed her red eyes, a bit of irritation coming to her previously emotionless face, a semi-scowl forming across the slightly bloody mouth. Kvove didn't like this Gorebyss. She glanced over to see Lumi hide himself behind the Kabutops and turned her eyes back to the Vaporeon coming down to join the rest, having half a mind to Ice Beam that evil little pink fish or something.

As for the Vaporeon's question, the big sea dinosaur remained in complete silence. One, because she was naturally silent and didn't like talking much unless it was singing; and two, the Lapras herself didn't actually know where they were going. Really, she had just joined the group about twenty minutes ago, she didn't know anything as of yet.

[ooc: short, lame post today. |D What Kvove does sorta depends on Lumi and Aegis since she knows them best as of now.]

"Well, what the fuck is going on here?" A Vaporeon [an Undead one at that, ugh] appeared before the group. Lelita felt irritation bubble inside of her as she sneered at the Gorebyss, immediately focusing her attention on the others, "Weren't we going, guys? Or did you change your minds?" Nonetheless, she felt herself still surprisingly calm, though she did make a bad first impression, she stood quiet as she scanned the group. Somehow the Lumineon from earlier swam off. Well the South Sea Pokemon couldn't blame him, he seemed jumpy and timid. She suppressed a sigh, slightly swimming to back where she came from before pausing and glancing at the group. First impressions were important, that's what Lelita always remembered.

The Gorebyss yawned, the sun was falling as she stared up at the sky from the water. The water was murky compared to the sky, why is that? Water and land, they must be filled with Undead, but what of the sky? There's Pokemon that can fly, yet the sky does not look stained. There's no bloody clouds, or fragments broken in the sky. Lelita grumbled, she would like to fly sometime in her life, but then again, the water made her feel calm... That is if it weren't so dirty. Nonetheless she shook her head, swimming back to where the fragments of the Sharpedo was, staring blankly at it.

How could she make up to the group earlier? She had just literally raged in their face without a second thought. She wished she could be more calm, keep her temper, but how could she? Everyone's gone. Her mother abandoned her, her loved one dead... Her trainers. There's a possibility they could be alive, but she can't walk on land could she? Stupid ass thoughts that bothered her, her face turned into a scowl as she slapped the fragments off the rock she had bashed the used-to-be-Sharpedo on. "Arceus the Epidemic gets on my nerves..." She mumbled.

[Ooc: She swam back BU Now go chase after the bitch -shot-]

The Lapras watched in silence, still staring at the Gorebyss in irritation. What crawled down this bitch's throat and died there? It looked like she was at least trying to be nice; but failing horribly. The Gorebyss, whatever her name was (if she had said it, Kvove missed it) stared at the sky, pondering something for a moment, before she suddenly turned and swam off, hitting one of the rocks in what appeared to be frustration.

...Okay, what just happened?

The Lapras narrowed her eyes in confusion and kept looking at the Gorebyss and then the pokémon around her, who all seemed to be distracted. With a soft sigh, the Lapras slowly inched a little closer to the Gorebyss with caution but also hesitation, not wanting to be near her with that level of violence in her.

((Technically it was my turn before Verdz's, since I still need to make a leaving post. Just going to go ahead and post it now. >.<))

Aegis sighed, or at least, as well as he could with his head sunk so low his face was underwater. On top of everything the past twenty four hours, they had to throw a cat-fight on top? Aegis was never one to act rashly, or without thought, but this was rediculous. He had been contemplating leaving for a while now, but he had stayed behind for Lumi. Now, however... It just seemed like too much. Turning his body so that his eyes looked directly into the smaller fish's, he lowered his voice so the others would not hear.

"I'm sorry Lumi, but it's time for me to leave. Your stronger now than when we first met, you can survive on your own. Just... Just be careful, if you decide to stay in this company."

Carefully, Aegis drifted backwards, kicking his legs farther underwater in an attempt to go unnoticed by the others. He couldn't stay surrounded by Undead or crazy Living anymore... He just couldn't. Turning around, when he was far enough away, he dove underwater and swam quickly towards Sunyshore. He didn't look back.

Thinking as he swam, Aegis made a crucial survival decision. The waters had proved far too dangerous. It was time he took his attempts to dry land. Taking one shaky step, then another, he pulled himself out of the water onto the cold rocks. He began to move forward slowly, getting his land-legs back after being in the water so long. He got about as far as the City Gate. Then he began to run.

Lelita frowned, glancing up from the rock to the Lapras that somewhat inched closer. The Gorebyss rose a brow, is this Undead crazy or what? Being near the South Sea Pokemon while she's in a state like this... She hated being angry all the time, she hated being such a temperamental bitch. Nonetheless, she cleared her throat, facing the Lapras, "Errr...
