| Appearance | At 6'10", Duking is perhaps a wee bit intimidating. This is not helped by the fact he is incredibly muscular and could probably snap me, the writer, in half like a toothpick. While he does have the personality of a giant teddy bear, it's still not wise to try and pick a fight with him. Seriously. Just don't. He still has long, swept-back hair and his signature mustache, which is now accompanied by a beard to complete his mountain-man look. Duking has the same hiking gear he used to bring for Pokespot hunting, with Rocky helping out by carrying some of the heavier equipment. Because of this, the Tyranitar is almost always kept out of her Pokeball. |

| Personality | Duking may look intimidating, but he's definitely a big ol' softie. He absolutely adores Pokemon, especially the cute kind like Plusle, and is gentle with children. He still holds to the ideals of protecting the weak and ensuring justice for those who harm others. However, if there's anything that living in Pyrite taught him, it's that the actions of criminals can't always be viewed in a black-or-white fashion. Because of this, Duking tries to show compassion and understanding towards all people, though he will certainly not tolerate allowing someone to hurt another if he can do something about it. His views of people have declined over the course of the last four years, despite his efforts to maintain a certain level of respect for individuals. While Duking once firmly believed that humans were overall good, with the less-ideal behaviors and attitudes created due to unfortunate circumstances (such as poverty, as was rampant in Pyrite), he's seen enough to cast severe doubts. This goes for Pokemon as well. Duking has never been the naïve type, but the sheer amount of grey areas associated with humanity still continues to surprise him. Whatever humanity really is, there is one constant truth: it's best to take what people tell you with a grain of salt...or perhaps a mountain. wip |
