Characters as a unit

I seen some teams of two characters that act and post as one so what are the rules regarding multiple characters RP'd as one.
Do you need to expend two tickets to create a unit or is it counted as one? Could I spend one shiny ticket to create two shiny pokemon provided they worked as one?

They cost the same amount of tickets as if they were both individual characters. If you had two characters, it would cost two tickets. Likewise with the shiny tickets; if they were both shiny, you'd need two shiny tickets.
