    Small Cabin | Night (23)

Alice groaned slightly when Hera spoke her thoughts. Just sitting and "surviving" didn't seem like it would work for too long. There had to be another way. However, sure grumbled a curse when Ciana offered herself as bait. "No." She said curtly. Alice would rather sit still than allow another of her friends to die. So there was still food here... That would be helpful. She doubted there would be many other places to aquire anything else on this mountain. Then Dante voiced his idea.

Digging? Alice shuddered. She didn't work well underground, being the type she was. She supposed she could suffer through it, if she had to. Alice stood up slowly, she could do that much now. The pain in her tail subsided completely, dulled by the sense of purpose she once again had. She began to scrounge around the cabin to find some food or supplies they may need. "I can't dig." She said, momentarily looking down at her sharp, flat claws. "I'll look for some supplies while you get start-"

Her voice wavered as the cabin began to shake. When the movement stopped, very quick cutting noises could be heard on one of the walls. Before long, a claw poked through the wall. One red eye appeared in the hole it made, and shudders racked Alice's body, accidentally slamming her tail against an opposite wall. The Whitehound had found them. Alice moved quickly, searching for anything she could carry. "Dig or break through a wall, I don't care! Just move!" She yelled frantically, at her team. "Hurry!"

"There'll be none of that," Ciara flinched at her alpha's words. "I've seen enough bloodshed from martyrs and 'baits' to last me two lifetimes. I'm tired of watching innocents die. You will not just go out and do the same, especially in vain. It wants all of us, and I think Strix and I in particular. It will not stop with your death." He stood tall and proud as he barked out his orders and like a proper submissive she tucked her tail and her ears, flattening herself to the ground. She would obey. She always obeyed. Obey...Obey...Obey...

The others retaliated much the same way, and she felt shame rise in her throat. Obey... She half listened as they devised a plan, something about digging their way out. She was canid, she could dig with the best of them, she even had the actual move on her side. It was her former master's favorite way of breaking into buildings. Obey... Their planning was for not, it seemed, because the white demon outside set upon the walls, trying desperately to get in. The horrific shrieks it made were soul chilling. Hera began to tear out the wall, digging at the snow to get their escape. Obey...

The fight would be upon them, and whatever her alpha ordered Ciara would do. She rose to her feet and faced the wall currently being torn into by the devil, and a dark looked possessed her. Her lips curled back into a snarl, jaws slightly parted to reveal sharp, menacing fangs, as a deep growl emanated from her chest. The look in her eyes was that of a killer, empty and emotionless. She was a tool, and she could be used, no, would be used. Her fighting skills were top notch and her alpha, her pack, needed her. She. Would. OBEY.

    Small Cabin| Night

It was relieving to see som spark back into the others, Strix especially. He was all too glad to start digging, even excited for it. Dante sighed a breath of relief as more, particularly Hera, got up and voiced their way of helping. It seemed that there'd be enough people to dig a large enough tunnel for them to use...

"HOW DARE YOU?!" screamed the bloodthirsty beast beyond the wall, making the houndoom flinch in surprise. He instinctively snarled and kept facing the wall where she was trying to break through, not sure how to stall her. There was no path to divert her, there was no mountain to draw upon. They were fish in a fucking barrel... His snarl grew when he saw her claws begin to breath the wooden wall. He needed to think of something fast...

He turned for a moment to see how the others were doing when his eye caught Ciara. She had a look he had never seen on her before, but was well-aquainted with. A dark look, a look of determination and emptiness. It unsettled him that she was able to change her demeanor so quickly, but now wasn't the time to think about it. He needed her to move. "Ciara, help them dig! We need out of here fast!"

His eyes searched the cabin for any sort of idea and sighed. There was snow coming through the cracks of the roof, meaning snow was up there. He prayed there was enough to cause some sort of delay... However, his fire alone would probably bring the cabin down before they were safely out. His eyes flickered to Alice and an idea came to him. "Alice, shoot electricity at her through the hole. Maybe we can stall her long enough to get a decent head start." Before she could begin, he went to the hole and released flames through it, hopefully burning her while he was at it.

    Small Cabin| Night (32)

"Strix! Follow my lead!" Hera yelled as she shot a blast of psychic energy at the opposite wall the beast was coming in. Strix felt a shiver run through his body as he felt the echoes of the psychic attack bounce around as they faded, but he quickly followed her out into the blizzard. Dashing up next to her he thrashed madly at the snow ahead of him, plowing ahead with his large claws and using his immense body weight to carve out a path.
"Don't stop!" He roared over the howling winds, hoping the others were okay as they worked to escape the biting blizzard.
This shouldn't have happened this way! The team is too exposed! He growled in anger, slamming the snow wall harder and harder in rage.

They attacked her, as was excepted of course. They all growled and preparred to attack her through the small opening she'd created. The winds howled through their ears and she roared in anger and in pain as the houndoom, Dante... Catherine recalled. Used flamethrowed through the hole she screamed

    "Back away now!"

Like a pokemon to its trainer Disaster complied falling back her face still received a deep singe and by orders and good sense she stuffed her face in the snow. Cooling the burn and stoping the fire from becoming anything worse.
Disaster slammed against the wall and used slash making the hole bigger, crushing the wood to splinters. She could nearly slip through it now.
She powered another slash to make her gateway.

    Small Cabin | Night (24)

Fear wracked Alice's body. Strix and Hera had escaped out the back wall, digging away at the snow. Ciara and Dante were beginning to fight. Alice looked reluctantly back at her injured tail. There was little she could do without hurting it again... There was nothing Alice could do to occupy her thoughts, but stare at the monster trying to claw its way into the cabin. Sure, there was scavenging, but there was little left to find here. She couldn't keep her mind focused. Simple feet away from where she stood was a beast that had tormented her for longer than she could ever wish. It wasn't the Whitehound that plagued her thoughts at this moment, however. It was a Lopunny.

Speaking about it earlier had not helped much, and had simply brought the memory back into her head. Alice could see red, flourencent eyes, and a snarling maw behind the cracks in the wall. It was all to similar.

She had been looking for her family in the woods. She was young, but curious. She heard noises not far away, and went to investigate. Expecting to find her siblings playing games, she found a large, if not wild-looking, Lopunny. It was eating something, but Alice didn't register what it was until she walked up to say hello. It was eating a shinx. She didn't think, or at least hoped she was correct, it was one of her siblings. However, she didn't have time to check. As soon as the Lopunny noticed her, it let out a powerful screech, draining the blood from Alice's body. She didn't wait to see more. She fled, running faster than she ever had. She could hear the grunts and wails of the Lopunny chasing behind her, nearly right on her tail. A cave loomed ahead, and she dove inside. So did the Lopunny. Disoriented by the sudden darkness, the Lopunny caught up, and attacked. She heard the Lopunny shriek, and then... Darkness...

Dante's voice woke Alice, as she shuddered her skin off. She watched as he attacked the enemy through a hole in the wall. That could work... Before she could move, however, another large slash opened up a chunk in the wall. It was nearly big enough for the creature to slip through. Alice had to work fast.

    "Get behind me!"

She didn't have time to wait to see if the others had taken her swift order, however. She resumed her place in front of the Cabin wall. In front of the Whitehound. Rage began to replace the fear in Alice's bones. The makeshift-splint on Alice's tail began to slip off, and she barely noticed. This beast was threatening her friends. She would not allow any others to die. Not now. A blue light surrouned Alice, crackling with electricity. Almost immediately, tendrils of lightning shot out of her body, attacking the wall in front of her. She strugged to control her Discharge attack, but it went everwhere. It was all she could do to keep it from hitting behind her. The strain was becoming too much. The sound of electricity flooded her ears, and lightnig bolts shot out of her body at extreme speeds, blinding her. It took her a moment to realize the sharp white light wasn't coming from the lightning. It was coming from her.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

She had evolved again. She had felt that it was overdue in coming, but the timing now was perfect. Her tail splint had disintegrated completely, though the evolution had mostly healed her tail. The bolts became easier to control, though she stopped her attack. The wall was riddled with holes, and groaned with uncertainty. She could not see the Whitehound, due to the fact she was still recovering from evolution. She backed up slowly. "We need to go now. I think we've bought all the time we can.

"Ciara, help them dig! We need out of here fast!"

The order came, and Ciara obeyed. Her body glowed as the move activated and she shoved past Strix and Hera. Her canine body and her TM move Dig made her the perfect digging machine. She tore through the bits of wall left and her claws threw the snow behind her into the cabin. She had only just started and was matched with the other two in their distance.

As she was pushing past them, widening the tunnel for even Strix's massive body to fit, a sudden sharp stinging wracked her body. A Discharge attack. Her body contorted as the electricity shot through her and she growled in pain. The pile of snow she was currently in was threatening to collapse because of her jerky movements. Not willing to disobey and order, she forced her body calm. Flames began licking at her fangs, and she reached out and started biting into the snow. Her Fire Fang move was hot enough to melt the snow around her and the night air rushed in as the outside was revealed. It froze the melted snow into hardened ice, keeping the hole stable.

She turned to the other two in empty triumph, her eyes still blank and as cold as the snow around her. She looked at her hole and pulled herself out, barking for the other two to know that she made it out. Turing back to her hole she started digging again, trying to widen it. Dante said fast, so that meant if they could all get through at the same time then it was faster. That meant a bigger hole. She kept melting the edges so they would keep their shape as she dug, not willing to let it collapse on them as it had tried to do to her.

It was cold, so very cold, though it didn't seem to bother the Typhlosion as it trekked through the frost bitten terrain in search of the one thing he truly cherished, his trainer, he would not let anything stop him from seeing her face again. Ricky was nee deep in snow, but he kept moving forward, blood leaking down his face from his eyes only to freeze in the cold wind that blew over this frozen forest. "Jean... where are you?" He said as he stopped and looked ahead of him, his vision blurred from the snow that blew from what seemed like every direction, its whistling almost drowning out the sounds of his voice.

Finally, the snow seemed to be letting up, and in the distance he saw the salute of a house, a human house, perhaps Jean was there, inside, keeping herself warm from the frost bitten wind. "Don't worry... Jean..." He didn't even finish his sentence as he moved a little faster to the cabin. Once he was there, he could keep her warm with his fire, she would never be cold again, never again. The dark made it hard to see, but he kept going forward to where he saw it, but as he got closer he heard things, voices, fire, electricity. Was Jean in danger? "I'm coming." He said, no louder then a whisper.

He got close to the cabin that he could see pokemon around it, some where digging out, another was trying to brake in. He couldn't see what they where, the night was making it difficult to see. Ricky tried to activate his neck flames, they flickered a bit before finally burning, lighting the area with its blue light. "Jean?" He said as he looked around, seeing a Mightyena, Espeon, and a Nidoqueen trying to escape through the underground hole, and an Absol trying to brake the wall of the cabin. He didn't see any pokemon that looked like Jean's, so where was she?
In the cabin, she is there, but they wont let you see her.
Ricky heard the voice inside his head again, so many times it told him where Jean was, and so many times it was wrong. But what if it was right this time? What if she was in there? He had to know. But they wouldn't let him pass?
Kill them. Burn them, bleed them, make them feel pain. Force them aside. Burn the cabin, make her run out, only then will you see her.
Jean was her, Jean was always her to the voice, it never said her name, it only called it 'her'.

Ricky would make them let him pass, he would kill them if they tried to stop him, they would burn in hell if they stopped him. He raised his head and let out a growl, feeling his fire begin to form in the back of his throat. He breathed out, a column of fire covering the cabin is a beautiful blue flamethrower, he watched as it danced in the light of the moon. Jean would come out now, she would come out, then they could be together again, just like the old days.

((Hello Snowpoint! I will be here for a little while before moving on, but before I do I hope to cause some trouble first. ^-^ ))

    Small Cabin| Night

The events were such a blur...

After Dante had blown fire at the white demon, Alice had been by his side, about to fire lightning at the undead. Like he had said. Strix, Ciana and Hera were digging their way out, like he had said. However, with his orders, Alice's body was teeming with electricity, and too soon after she yelled for him to get behind her, the entire cabin crawled with merciless, bouncing electricity.

As the attack raced around the room, Dante realized that, in the attack, wood did not conduct electricity. It bounced off of it and sought the only thing that would, himself and the Absol. He didn't realize he yelped as he was thrown to the back wall, nor that he hit the floor. His breath came in shuddering gasps as his vision blurred and the sounds around him muted. He knew this sensation, and it meant bad news.

He struggled to stand as he realized the newly evolved Alice said they needed to go. His legs, however, were too shaken and weak to support his body and he went back down onto the floor. It was then that the scent of smoke filled his nose, and the light coming from the roof infiltrated the surrounding darkness. The roof was on fire.

Cursing, he got himself to his feet and tottered down the tunnel, using the earthy and icy wall for support. Once Alice was free of the cabin, he shot a dark pulse at the top of the tunnel's ceiling nearest the cabin, casuing the tunnel entrance to collapse. However, he heard something outside beside the roar of the blizzard. Praying to whatever deity would listen, he hobbled toward the battle that was surely waiting for him.

    Small Cabin| Night (33)

As Strix continued to plow forward, crackling electricity burst into the air around them. A slight buzzing filled his ears, but he was otherwise unaffected. He turned back, catching a glimpse of the now evolved Alice using a powerful electric attack and the others on the ground, writhing in pain. Strix was about to run to their sides when both Hera and Ciara pulled themselves up and continued to dig. Strix was dumbfounded by the transformation in the two, but he joined them in plowing the large hole, forcing his weight against the sides so the dirt would stick.
The Mightyena beamed at them from above, leaping back down and fortifying the tunnel with a fire attack.
"Hera are you o-" His sentence broke as he saw Dante hobbling weakly towards them. He dashed down the tunnel, skidding to a halt on the slick ground underneath as he got closer to the Houndoom.
"You okay buddy?" He asked, giving him a once-over. Without waiting for a reply, he answered his own question. "No, of course you're not. Come here." He grunted, lowering himself to one knee, grabbing the hound gently and tossing him over one shoulder, careful not to let him hit his poisonous barbs.
"We're almost out." He muttered, holding the hound in place and turned back to the others, stomping down the dark tunnel. Strix' ears perked as he heard a roar somewhere above him. The Nidoking growled as he doubled his pace, quickly reaching the end of the tunnel where the others waited.
"There's something else out there." he said gruffly, effectively blocking the exit to the tunnel with his bulk.

Catherine had known they where going to attack Disaster the moment that she broke through the wall. She'd known who was most likely to attack first and who'd be digging, the information had processed through her half. Disaster knew none of this and was just following the voice's orders, it seemed smart and knowledgeable on the attacks and what Disaster should do and what would happen.

One thing that Catherine had not seen coming was the roof catching fire... she really should've considering her luck so far. She'd been transferred across regions in the blink of an eye for no logical reason, it would only make sense that the universe was now deciding to make this one cabin in the entire world catch fire.

The prey disappeared underground and Disaster howled and widened the hole, she ran into the burning building to try and reach them right before debris fell causing even the infected to realize she was in danger. Showing some agility Disaster ran back out brushing flames off of her mane.

Catherine finally spotted the real reason behind the fire, a typhlosion. Another undead was standing there, looking deadly.

Disaster lowered into a pounce stance and growled ready for a fight as she came face to face with another of the dead ones, she usually left them alone since they didn't taste good but now she was mad.

    Underground Tunnel | Night (25)

Alice felt empowered by her evolution. She could even fight the Greyhound, like this. However, the others had already gone through the tunnel. She knew she had to follow, but her instincts told her to fight. Suddenly, over head, she caught a wiff of burning wood. The cabin was on fire! With a quick, out of character squeel, she dashed through the tunnel, just before Dante caved in the entrance. She gave a start as she realized he was injured. As she reached the end of the tunnel with the others, she realized that Hera and Ciara were as well. It burned her to realize she had caused them physical damage.

"I'm sorry..." Was all she could sputter, in her shock. In truth, she should have expected this, in her stupidity to use Discharge. However, it was the only non-physical move she knew, and she had not wanted to get too close to the Absol. Still, it was a poor excuse. Electricity flicked between her claws at her anger at her self. Strix made the observation that sent a shudder through Alice's body. Something else... She thought, fear gripping her. If it was what started that fire, I doubt it is friendly. Just what we need, another enemy.

She hated the situation. She had injured her friends, damaging them before the upcoming battle. They had been forced to flee underground- Oh, how she hated being underground-, and they were persued on both ends of the tunnel. Once again, they were trapped. They could not move back the way the came, so the only way out was up. Alice finally noticed that Ciara was melting the hole to the outside with a Fire Fang attack. She could at least help with that. Moving near the Mightyena, Alice allowed her teeth to heat to the point of sending out flames, using her own Fire Fang to enlarge the hole. She would not be a buden anymore.

Ciara noticed nothing around her except the snow she was currently clawing and burning her way through. Nothing else mattered but her orders, and her orders where to dig. Even the other wicked creature on the approach gave her no distraction as she set into her mission. It wasn't until Strix exited carrying a wounded Dante that she halted in the task.

As the pair exited, the last to leave, the tunnel collapsed. Something must have happened on the other side to weaken it. Ciara stared at Strix, eying the wounded alpha in his arms. Her tail swished violently and a growl echoed deep in her throat. If the alpha was injured by the white demon then he needed her protection, undead or no. She looked to the dark hound, emotionless eyes locked on to his, and she awaited her next order. "I obey..."

    Small Cabin//Night
    [2]

Where was she? Why was she not coming out. Ricky looked franticly around as to spot his trainer. He followed the voices order and burned the cabin so that she would come out, so where was she? "Jean?" He said as he took a step forward. Did he burn her? Was she dead, if so then how could he go on, he didn't want to live without his Jean. He placed a hand on his chest, hoping to feel that beating heart of his, but there was nothing, only stillness. "Jean, where are you?"

Ricky raised his head and let out a cry of pain, a cry that he was suffering. "Jean!" He shouted her name into the night, hoping she would hear him, that she would hear and come running. But he was only answered with a snarl. Turning his head he looked to see another of the undead. He didn't care though, they never bothered him, so he never bothered them, though this one looked angry at him. Bloody tears began to once again stream down his cold face, his blue fire keeping them from turning to red ice. "Where is she?" He asked the white undead, hoping for an answer.
It can't help you, its to far gone. She is not here, only those that escaped can tell you where she is.
Those that escaped? Oh yes, those pokemon that where digging through the snow, where were they? He turned to his right, where he had seen the pokemon digging. Ignoring the Absol, Ricky began to walk in the direction he had seen them. They would know where she was right?
Make them tell you, kill them if they don't. Torture them till they talk.
Torture? Would that work? Right now, Ricky was ready to try anything to find Jean, even if it meant kill other pokemon, they where nothing, just an obstacle he needed to overcome to find his only means to keep moving.

There they where, they where only a dash away from him, he was going to get them, they where going to talk, they where going to feel the pain he was going through internally. He got down onto all fours, his body sparking with electricity before he charged. His eyes where wide, and his target was set. He would take down the Espeon first, it looked the weakest, he could easily win. "Tell me where she is!" He shouted as he closed the distance between himself and the group of survivors.

    Snowpoint Outskirts| Late Night

Dante didn't realize he'd blacked out for just a moment as Strix lumbered toward him and picked him up, carting him out of the almost collapsed tunnel. The freezing, biting wind woke him up instantly, and his body jerked in surprise as he realized he was actually being carried. The surroundings were difficult to make out, but the only things that really cut through the dark and snow were the fire from SOMETHING and the glowing red eyes of the absol that haunted them.

    There was their opportunity.

He wriggled off of Strix and shook himself from the buzzing in his head. "They're busying themselves," he stated over the wind. "Let's get out of here before the blizzard lets up. The city's just near here. Let--" he noticed Ciara, whose blank eyes stared at him.

"I obey," was all she said. Creepy.

He cleared his throat as he made a head count and nodded to himself. Everyone was there. "Let's get into the city while the dead fight amongst themselves. Somewhere well-protected and preferably underground. Hera, Ciara, take the front and scout ahead. Alice, make sure we don't lose each other-- Strix and I will bring up the rear. Should we fall too far behind, make sure you know where we are." He looked up to Strix. "Let's get out of here before you sink in the snow, buddy," he added with a small grin.

"Strix and I will bring up the rear. Should we fall too far behind, make sure you know where we are." The Houndoom said, looked up to Strix. "Let's get out of here before you sink in the snow, buddy."
The Nidoking nodded as the others began to dash ahead of them when the infected Typhlosion made its' move.

"Tell me where she is!" the blue flamed creature roared as he leaped towards Hera. She looked badly injured and weakened from the fight; Strix' heart stopped in horror. I have to do something!
Time seemed to slow down as he dashed through the heavy snow, plowing forward and colliding with the fire pokemon. A heavy thud sounded as the two hit each other. Strix hit the ground ungracefully, slight electrical charges bouncing around on his armor.
The snow was thickening again and visibility was worsening by the minute. He grunted as he got up, struggling in the snow. The velocity of his attack had left him half buried in the soft but confining whiteness.
The Nidoking tried to pull himself out, shooting a glance at the Espeon.
    Hera!
"Go, please!" He growled as he thrashed madly to get himself clear of the snow.

"Jean!" The typhlosion cried out, Catherine blinked at the emotion behind it. She'd cried all the same when Disaster had taken control and done in with her master.

Lucas... she felt pain claw at her insides, when she had woken up and all she had seen was a tasty treat where her master had once been.

"Where is she?" The typhlosion asked her, both she and disaster where so startled they didn't answer and the volcano pokemon turned away from them. He was heading for the survivors who had recently resurfaced not too far away. He was going for Hera, the espeon with the scars, the one who's trainer had died and had been beaten down by a salamance. She'd done nothing to harm them and Catherine felt a sudden urge to stop this. She leaped, blocking Disasters attempt to bite the typhlosion by leaping off of him and then landing in front of the group.

"I know where she is!" Catherine cried out, she'd shocked herself by speaking at all before the live ones. How was it that the pokemon she'd wanted so badly to kill only moments before she was now putting her neck on the line to protect.

Because you haven't completely lost to Disaster yet Oh great as if she didn't already have enough voices in her head, now her conscious had returned. Just wonderful.

Catherine shook with effort to keep herself from succumbing to Disaster who was trying to wrench control back from the voice. Catherine looked back at the live ones, sanity blinking somewhere in there. She looked back at the typhlosion.

"I know where Jean is." The lie hurt, she knew that this wouldn't end well but what else was she supposed to do?

Ciara heard her orders, scout ahead. She nodded curtly and turned to follow Hera, but the feline wasn't moving. The sharp smell of blood was filling the air and Ciara couldn't help but notice the heaviest concentration was by the Espeon. Her companion, her pack-mate, was hurt and wasn't telling anyone. Her tail swished angrily as the wounded female began to move forward, she was one of the stronger in the pack and needed to be cared for. But Hera was being stubborn, instead.

    "Tell me where she is!"

Ciara whirled at the threat and turned just in time to see Strix throw himself in front of Hera and get injured. Damn it! Who would be left to protect their alpha if everyone kept getting themselves hurt? She snarled angrily and made to charge the beast, throwing herself in front of Dante, barking and growling menacingly. Her ears were flat to her head, tail straight out behind her, with her back arched and poised to strike. All of her fangs were showing, slightly parted in preparation for attack, with little sparks of electricity arcing over them. If no one else had the mind to, the SHE would defend her alpha.

"I know where she is!" What? As Ciara chanced a glance, not moving her head but using her peripherals, a demon came out from the other side of the house, half its body rotting away and face black as pitch. Was this the creature they so feared on the other side of the wall. It was...horrifying. She now understood why everyone was so concerned about it. It clearly had no problem with its innards dangling from the gaping hole in its stomach, so what would be a little more pain they could dish out? So...why was it trying to distract the other monster, the Typhlosion? Jealousy? Greed? It was strange.

Ciara did the only thing she could in that situation. She waited for Dante's orders.

His attack missed, though his attack did manage to hit the Nidoking that had thrown itself in front of the Espeon. He didn't really care who it was he had to hurt to get the answers he wanted, just as long as he got them. Ricky began to walk over to the Nidoking, smoke coming from his mouth as he got ready to use his Flamethrower. "Where is she, tell me where?"

    "I know where Jean is."
Rickys eyes widened when he heard those words and he turned his head to see that very Absol. Was it her that said it? She knew where she was?
    Shes lying! Kill the Nidoking!
Ricky didn't even bother to listen to the voice this time, if the Absol really did know where Jean was, he wanted to hear it. "Where is she?" He said as he looked at the other undead. It looked to be in much worse shape them himself, but he didn't care, all he cared about was finding Jean. Nothing else mattered to him, and once he found her everything would be all right, everything wouldn't hurt anymore.

Dante couldn't keep up with the quick paced events, and the attacks flying around confused him in his wounded state. He shook his head, trying to get rid of the buzzing feeling in his ears as Ciara rushed in front of him. A voice suddenly cut through the howling winds, demanding for a Jean. He attacked Hera, but Strix took the blow, pushing him further in to the snow. "Strix!" Dante cried, and the beast turned to the rest of them, about to kill. Dante knew that it would end here, that this monster would finally kill them, after everything they'd done so much to stay alive...

    Delia...

"I know where she is!" another voice sounded, stopping the flaming beast in its tracks. Dante didn't dare move, even as the frozen wind clawed at his body. "I know where Jean is..."

Dante watched in confused silence as the typhlosion turned to the absol, the demon that had been haunting their shadows for so long... "Where is she?" the typhlosion asked. Dante no longer cared that the two infected were there, they were preoccupied, and his pack was not in the best shape. They needed a way out, and whether the absol intended it or not, it gave them that way out. He pulled at Ciara's scruff, trying to snap her out of the idea of attacking the preoccupied Dead.

He made his way to the others, hoping Ciara was following. "Let's go before they finish their conversation!" he growled over the wind, and waited for everyone to move, his eyes fixed on the Infected. What the hell was the absol doing...?
