History	Jack was once a wild Sandslash out in the wilds of Orre, a desolate place for any youngster to grow up in. As any wild pokemon were rare in Orre, Jack was almost immediately found and captured, whisking him quickly away from the wild life. Jack dosen't particularly remember much of his pre-domestic life, and doesn't pay much mind to it. He was brought to a dusty, hardy ranch near Phenac City, using the aquafer the town sat upon for ranch life. He was quickly trained to help dig out the irrigation systems, to aid in watching and herding cattle, even helping in fixing the buildings and tools his owners used. It was a quaint life, a simple one, but the sandshrew did not mind, as it was all the life he ever needed. He adored his routine, the monotonous ritual he had come to adopt. While the idea of adventure seemed interested, he was perfectly content to attend to his responsibilities and simply let dreams be dreams. Years passed, and eventually, he evolved into a handsome sandslash. Now more capable of assissting in running the ranch, he tended to his ailing owner's health and ran the ranch mostly by himself. Night and day, he worked, earning a few measly hours of sleep by passing out wherever and whenever he could afford. Eventually, his owner passed, leaving the ranch in the snadslash's care. Having no human heir, the ranch was to be sold back to the bank. Jack hardly let them onto the property, furiously defending his territory as well as the grave of his previous owner. Unfortunately, they came again with tranquilizers and placed him in a kennel, keeping him locked in a cage for some other sorry sap to adopt him. While he was somewhat capable of fending for himself, the humans insisted on having him adopted. While he rotted in his metal prison, rumors of strange pokemon spread across the land. They began euthanizing any pokemon they could get their hands on, and finally, the needle turned to Jack. Frantically, he fought to get away, giving the humans the slip before finally emerging back into the sunlight. The sight was horrible. Gun blasts littered the air, blood painted the city. Everything was out for itself, and so Jack hurriedly dashed to get away from the slaughter, taking out some of the rabid ones as he went. After that, he roamed, taking apart any of the Death-reeking demons he could find. Dis was never very fortunate. Born into the wild by a sickly pair of parents, it was only the intervening hand of a caring Pokemon Ranger that helped him survive. While his parents had received help as well, they were already too far gone; a hereditary coronary illness had caught his mother, and his father merely collapsed out of exhaustion from trying to take care of his family. His father died a week after his mother, a heart attack claiming him. With the Ranger seeing just how quickly the newborn little Eevee could die if he were re-introduced into the wild, she decided to keep him, giving him his current name. Though she adored the little eevee, she could tell something was definitely wrong with him, other than the debilitating illness he suffered. The eevee, while able to learn and rationalize, seemed to lack emotion. At first, she thought it as a fluke, a misinterpretation of his actions. Maybe he wasn't a very loving pokemon, as she'd known others of his kind to be. But as she observed him grow, she saw him ruthlessly murder fish, insects, birds, and finally -the last straw- another pokemon. His methods were not gruesome, however; his methods were more meticulous, deliberate. He would not fly into a rage and bite onto a neck or smash with his paw, he would find poison, or trap the prey and kill it... slowly. Methodically. As if he were testing something. They day he killed another pokemon was a normal day, not unlike others they had shared. She found him missing from his bed -again, not unusual- and looked around to find him outside once more. However, this time, he'd caught a pidgey, its flailing form caught beneath his paws. In a fluid, expert movement, he broke a wing and a leg, then got off of it and allowed it to try and escape. Once it made a little headway, he strode up to the limping, crying bird, and broke the other leg. Too frightened and horrified to move, the Ranger watched on. Once the bird was on the ground, Dis placed a paw on its neck and slowly applied more and more pressure, as if testing how much force would kill it, or how long it could survive without air. Unable to watch the carnage, the Ranger sprint forward, wanting to try and save the poor bird. Once she removed Dis from his catch, however, it was too late. The bulging eyes and still chest told her enough. It was that day she took Dis with her to the outskirts of her hometown, out into the landfill. Dumping him literally in nothing but a pile of trash, she abandoned him, letting him fend for himself. There, he made his new home, arming himself with a Toxic Plate that eventually led to his evolution, strengthening his heart enough to be able to truly fight. He roamed once evolved, aimlessly wandering the lands until strange pokemon began to appear. Intrigued by the new pokemon, he watched them, studied them, followed them and fought them. He didn't know exactly what was happening, as human speak and writings were unknown to him. But it didn't stop him trying to learn. With the Epidemic progressing, he simply wanders from one place to the next, searching for something to hold his interest.
Appearance	Jack is a normal sandslash, albeit a little rough on the edges. He sports few scars, sharp claws and potent spikes. He prefers to run on all fours rather than try the bipedal approach. Everything about his voice screams "cowboy", as his diction is wholeheartedly Southern. Dis is a very sickly-looking Radeon; even more sickly than they normally look. Slightly taller than the average and also thinner.
Personality	If there's anything one needs to know about this sandslash is that overall, he is a good person. He knows, after spending most of his life as a ranch hand, that hard work pays off in full, and lives by that philosophy. He is not opposed to put in hours and hours of hard manual labor, knowing that it will someday come in use. Because of this, he knows much about agricultural labor, carpentry and overall handiness. However, because of his incredible knowledge of the outdoors, he has little to offer in the ways of modern and urban knowledge. He lacks intelligence with electrical devices and any sort of modren gadget. Pokeballs still confuse him. With Jack's great work ethic, his moral ethics are paired with it; the sandslash takes situations of right and wrong seriously. He has a strong sense of justice, of good and evil. While somewhat religious, his moral compass is more from his own experiences on the ranch rather than from his religion itself. This moral center makes him chilvalrous -if not a little harmlessly sexist- and undoubtedly kind. He knows everyone goes through a rough spot, and firmly believes that if everyone pulls their own weight, everyone will come out on top. This makes him proactive, and tries not to waste time. With his slight sexism, he tends to be protective of the ladyfolk and children. Even if the woman has proven herself capable, his instincts will still be to protect her. This goes for children as well. Quiet\| Condescending\| Highly Intelligent\| Distant\| Stubborn\| Resolute\| Sociopath\| Ruthless\| Can become maniacal\| Simple Dis is a strange, skewed pokemon. He had suffered some asphyxiation and head trauma as an infant, as birthing wasn't very smooth for him or his mother. That, limited interaction with others and the illness that still hinders him has left him incomplete, sociopathic. He lacks many emotions, simply unable to feel or protray them, like happiness or love. Instead, he is left with a wide, staring gaze, replacing a soul with a mind. Emotion for intellect. Dis, while very smart, is a simple creature, requiring only the most base of needs for survival: Food, water, shelter and a basic level of cleanliness. Anything else is seen not as a luxury, but a frivolous add-on. He thirsts for knowledge, for intellect. It's truly an instinct, a way to help him survive more than a strive for power. He lacks the pride and greed to be power-hungry; he merely wishes to know. While this may be a simple want, no process is too harsh, gruesome or risky. Self-mutilation is seen as only somewhat advantageous; there's only so much he can learn about his own body without opening himself up and killing himself. Normally only vaguely anxious, under stress, this becomes a main component of his personality. If out into a dire situation, he becomes violent, his instinct of self-preservation taking complete hold and disregarding any alliances he might have made. If another's death prolongs his own life, they will die. End of story.
User Notes	Original Profile All battle training was done in the wild, therefore lower level Picked up the Toxic Plate in the landfill Has discovered that the Virus is contagious to most pokemon, but he seems immune. He has not tried contracting the virus. Heart condition is still there, just not as severe, and only becomes prevalent during times of stress. Does not need medication. Original Profile
