- Tyson's POV
Tyson is nine. Tyson is autistic. Tyson loves pokemon. Tyson can't have a pokemon.
Tyson grew up in a place very North of the Johto region with his sister, his mother, his uncle, and his uncle's son. They grew up in a village surrownded by nothing but thick, snowy forests. A huge group of eeveelutions were known to thrive within it's dephts, but they stayed away from the human settlement at all costs; they would be killed on sight by any one of the adults. You see, the people there beleived that pokemon were an evil and unnatural group of animals- that they went against the will of their God.
Now, many of the children ignored this but it was often that the child would be cought with said pokemon and the poor animal would be stabbed or burned at the stake for it's 'sins'. However, not everyone got cought and amung them was Tyson's sister and a lone Eevee named Saharah. Tyson wanted so baddly to have his own but Tyson was not smart or clever enough to keep it a secret. Tyson knew this. It made Tyson sad.
Even more sad when Tyson's sister told him what she was planning to do- she was going on her own pokemon journey with Saharah! Tyson's sister disappeared and did not return. Tyson was happy for her, but Tyson missed her. More than a decade passed and Tyson was still at home with no pokemon of his own. It made Tyson sad. Tyson's uncle and his now twelve year old son Elric moved away and Tyson was more lonely than ever. Tyson only had his mommy to play with. Tyson's mommy did not play right. But then the scary time came.
The televisions all seemed to be on the same channel replaying the same urgent words over and over. Then they were leaving, running, Tyson and Tyson's mom and Tyson's whole village. But then there was no one left around Tyson. Tyson was confused. Where had everyone gone?
Tyson was alone and this made Tyson sad and scared, but then Tyson made a friend. Tyson's friend was a Ralts. Tyson named her Pretty because Pretty was pretty. Pretty was very nice. Pretty got Tyson food when Tyson was hungry and Pretty teleported them to new places when the scaries came. But after many days, Tyson did not see Pretty anymore. Tyson was sad. Tyson wished Pretty would come back.
But then Tyson made a new friend. Tyson named him Fluff but Fluff was small. Really small.
- Orique's POV
Orique started out life with many brothers and sisters, nine, in fact, to be exact. Not all were blood related but they grew up together and that alone made them brothers and sisters.
There was a family of humans, rich and greedy humans, that made their money out of breeding pokemon to be unique and desirible through generations of selective breeding to make many recessive traits show. They made many custom frighters and glorious beauties via very specific requests, but their fortune was really made with how they bred their Eevee. First, they managed to make them incredibly small- some as much as one third the size of normal- and with odd and unique markings. The only different coloring altogether was the occasional shiny, but some Eevee were born with their brown parts tan or even whole tails and legs being lighter. These were rare and unique attributes that made for fantastic discolorings in evolution. And people just ate it up. But there were many downsides. With breeding Pokemon to be so unnaturally small and just immproportinate , many health problems were present. Deaf ess, blindness, mute, digestive track issues, brain defficiently, sometimes being able to even evolve was difficult. Sometimes their bodies would reject their own organs and not allow them to level up, stunting their level and growth. Many, many Eevee died, at least a third of every 'batch' had some kind of problems. And were heartlessly and cruely 'taken care of' behind closed doors of the popular facillity. However despite this risk, trainers all over the world still lusted to get their hands on a unique miniture Eevee of their own. Amung the newest batch was a male Eeevee, about two thirds the normal size, whom was named Orique. His markings, along with his size, were not up to the standards of the breeding facility. He looked too close to that of the normal Eevee and that set him immediately for termination. Not to mention his disorder. Everytime the Eevee would eat during feeding time, he would violently cough, retching up whatever he had eaten. The only thing that he found he could keep down was milk and water. Within the week of his birth, Orique was already starving and dangerously thin. If he did not have something quickly then he would die before his life had even begun.
So to save the breeding company the money that would be wasted upon feeding the 'lost causes', they would terminate those that were not deemed worthy. So the employee exited the building from the hidden back door, carrying the five 'deffective' baby Eevee with him in a box. He began heading to the woods, where theywould be dealt with, not even stopping to think about what he was doing. One of the babies was just crying too much. And it was being sentenced to death. However, an odd looking man approached the Breeder employee. The man was tall, in a dark coat that reached his ankles; he intercepted the man and swiftly convinced him not to kill the Eevee but to trade them to him. The dark man offered 100$ for each Eeveeand, with no suprise, the employee didn't argue. He handed over the box, took the money, and acted as if nothing had happened. Little did he know that the man in the dark coat had been part of a dangerous and ruthless crime organization- Team Rocket. He had cruel plans for the Eevee that he had gotten his hands on and rushed them back to their base. From there they were all given immediate medical examinations, determining if they were healthy or not. One was blind, another deaf in one ear, another with a tumor in it's brain, the one that cried too much, and orique. They were seperated immediately and all given to different set of professionals in an effort to save their lives. Orique was given immediate I.V. fluids and rushed into surgery. They managed to work on his stomach and larger intestines, praying that their proceadure would keep him alive and keep solid food down. They soon discovered that he could only handle and digest simple things, like any liquid and small trace amounts of solid food, but it had to be simple and plain. He was becoming skinnier and skinnier by the day and the doctors feared that they would lose him despite their efforts. Even the hiher ups were sure that he would die. But one of the scientists pointed out that the Eeveelution Umbreon could learn the move Dream Eater and that many species of Pokemon survived on just that.
It then became just a race against the clock. They gave the Eevee constant fluids and vitamin doses to keep his body alive as they worked to find way to evolve him. They scrambled to findd someone to earn his trust and then evolve him by giving him the ingrediant in Rare Candy that would raise his level and allow him to evolve. One of the scientists mentioned his son, a child, named Ellric. The Rockets jumped on it. He soon began bringing his son to work, the base, to play with the sickly Eevee. Each day Elric would simply sit by the Eevee's side and pet him. It was not long Before he came to care deeply for the boy and began to look forward more and more for their visits. Despite only viaiting at night, the frail Eevee slowly became stronger with the help of the scientists. He was finally able to stand on his own when the night came that he evolved. Elric was brushing the Eevee's fur when a beam of moonlight came from outside. With the I.V. of the energy inducing ingrediant from Rare Candy, he almost immediately began to glow. In a few seconds, the newly evolved Umbreon was not too much larger, but newfound strength coursed through his veins. Elric was immediately rushed out of the room and replaced with a scientist whom held a dark colored disk. They taught him Dream Eater and immediatly tested the move on a sleeping Pichu. The Umbreon instinctively used the new move, stealing the mouse's dreams and converting it into energy. He was simply astounded at how alive he suddenly felt- the young dark type had never had the energy to stand before, let alone run! He bounded around his room happily. Life was good.
The scientists gave him a week to build his strength and become accustomed to the move. He didn't complain- it was as if he had just been given life all over again! But... Then it happened. Several Rocket grunts, the father of Elric, and a scientist came to visit the Eeveelution. But something was horribly wrong. Several tall men were holding the father in chans while a last, lone grunt finally entered, Elric in his vicelike grip. The order came so fast that the Umbreon missed it as Elric was shoved forward, falling harshly to the ground. They wanted him to kill the child. The father began thrashing, crying out as the single sientist in the room explained that they no longer required the child. But still the young Umbreon did nkt move. At least not until a grunt swung a bat at him, threatening him with his life. He still did not move. But one swung and a powerful blow landed on the Umbron's thigh, causing him to cry out in pain before finally giving in. Tears streamed down his face, his soul torn in two as he launched an attack at the boy he loved. Elric's ribcage was crushed, smached in, suffocating him in minutes. The Eeveelution curled up next to the lifeless body in anguish, wishing to feel his gentle petting once more, ignkring the loud, echoing sound of the bullet being lodged into the father's head.
He was changed that day.
The Rockets gave him no time to greive and recover; they needed results. They needed the miniture Umbreon to be trained to be strong. And on a strict time limit.
The Umbreon was immediately put into training developed specifically for him, strengthening his body, toning his developing muscles, and giving him fantastic stamina. There was little improvement after months, but then he suddenly began to excell! The small cat's heart froze over, making him numb to the world around him as he hardened his normally loving soul, and put all he could i to the mindless goal of training. He was taught to be stealthy and silent, quick on his paws, a perfect aim, and even German -so that his trainer could give him commands without worrying of the enamy taking control and using the Umbreon against his own trainer- over the course of a few years. Over this time he did not grow all too many levels but instead mastered his body and attacks to a pin, making him a true threat in a fight. Finally the scientists decided that he was ready for his first feild mission. The Eeveelution was not thrilled nor frightened- he simply cared no more what went on or happened to him. He was a broken Pokemon.
His mission went off without a hitch. He had simply been told to sneak into a guy's home to steal some documents and then bring them back. Due to his small size as well as training, he was like a shadow and got out before anyone could have even known he had been there. The Rocket's were estatic- their work had paid off perfectly and now they had a specifically trained Pokemon that seemingly followed orders mindlessly. He was put with a partned not soon after, seeing another Pokemon for the first time in a long time. She was one of the rarest Eeveelutions, a Phanteon, and she was a bright cerulean blue with navy blue whisps and beautiful golden eyes. Her name was Sasha. Sasha explained that, due to her type and special abilites that came with being a ghost, she had been specifically trained as well. But there was no joy in her and the Umbreon could only relate. They were only tools and they both knew it.
For a few years the duo did as they were told, stealing and breaking into buildings for the Rockets, without complaining once. It was a very unfufilling life but a life nonetheless. This all ended when the infection broke out. The Government commanded for the release of all Pokemon, advising the humans to flee to a safe place. But the Rockets were beyond outraged. They had put in so many years of work and training into their tools, now they were just expected to be thrown away? Oh hell no. They outright refused, but did release some of their more easily replacible toys, including Sasha, while keeping ther other more valuable ones, like the Umbreon. He was frightened and did not like how things changed. He missed his only friend. But the shiny Phanteon did not leave him simply hanging- she came back for him a few nights later. Sasha helped him to escape the cruel humans' prison and they fled from the hellhole, side by side. For weeks the two watched eachother's backs and avoided the undead that seemed to multiply by the day.
The two Eeveelutions were a perfect team, always able to avoid a fight as well as bashing their way through any trouble when needed. However, fate was a cruel thing to the Umbreon. In a fight with a massive hoard of undead Seedot and several Nuzleaf, the Umbreon found himself selerated from Sasha. Thus he fled, now all alone. The Eeveelution ran for many hours, desperately trying to find Sasha again... But to no avail. He was now alone again. Alone. The feline had no choice but to keep moving on his own, keeping stealthy and out of the way of undead. Along the way he found a select few living, thankfully all sleeping or dozing off, so the dark tyoe was able to keep himself alive with Dreak Eater. It was very rough for the Umbreon and he quickly shut down his emotions , only keeping himself alive and sane by having conversations with himself in German as well as English. However, he learned that life is not always heartless the day he met a human, Tyson.
Tyson was a younger human, maybe his mid twenties, but he had a form of disorder called Autism. Due ti this he acted very young and very innocent, despite himself being a fully grown man. Tyson quickly called the tiny Umbreon 'Fluff'. That alone opened the cat's heart and soul to the blissfully happy human. The Umbreon began to feel once more, developing a deep love for Tyson, and made it a goal to keep the human safe and smiling. After a few more weeks time, Tyson and the Umbreon traveling happily together, the pair unbeleivibly stumbled upon a group of human survivors. Trainers. Trainers that still had Pokemon.
They welcomed the ragtag duo with open arms and the Umbreon felt a great weight lifted from his shoulders, no longer being the only one watching out for Tyson. One of the human's partners, a Zoroark, approached the Umbreon and introduced himself as Lector as well as asking for a name in return. The simple question rocked the Umbreon's entire mind- it had been years since he had gone by anything other than a number. "Orique," he whispered. "I am Orique." After that he became very close with Lector, enjoying his company as much as Tyson's. Life was nice for the first time in Orique's entire life, really. But, once again, Arceus did not smile upon him.
One day, there was a horribly powerful surge of psychic energy that swept across the land. Finding himself cought up in this, Orique found himself somewhere else, an entirely new enviornment. And alone. Orique was once more all alone.
Orique is an Umbreon, but a very particular Umbreon at that.
Due to his way of breeding, Orique is much, much smaller than the average Umbreon. He is little more than half the average size. Along with this, he has a very thin frame and dainty features. His legs are short and very thin, ending in small compact toes. His muscles show visibly in his fore and hind legs. He is also extremely fluffy, his tail and ears showing thr blunt of this. Due to the longer hair, they give the illusion of being much, much larger than normal. Orique has very wide eyes with peachy color. He is missing the golden rings on the thighs and shoulders, due to his breeding, and thus cannot give off nearly as much light as an average Umbreon.
Orique is a very timid and flighty Pokemon and it shows in how he holds himself. He is almost always crouching, trying to keep as close to the ground as possible. His tail is always held low as well as his ears usually against his head. His light eyes are usually wide with insecurities as well as his pelt usually fluffed up in fear. His walking movements are usually swift and hard to catch, he moves so quick. After his years of stealth training, he is an expert at walking with silent grace as well as keeping out of sight.
Orique is like a shadow, out of sight and out of mind.
Orique is extremly timid. He avoids contact with humans and Pokemon alike at all costs. He is sensetive to negative emotions around him and will flee if tones are argressive of curses used. Orique hates being alone but he would much rather have that than be with someone whom scares him.
Orique is a gifted assassin, a fighter of special attacks and a silent killer. He knows just how to play on a foe's mind, distracting them before striking with the deathblow before they even realize it. However, he almost flatout refuses to do anything but defend himself anymore. He would rather let himself be killed than take another life by using the skills intergrained into his head.
It is difficult to earn his trust, and most often it takes time, but once you have this little guy's respect it is very difficult to lose it. He is extremely sensetive about the fact that he has lost every single person that has ever cared fot him and thus vows never to let that happen again. Once you have a friend in him, Orique will not hesitate to sacrifice himself for you.
As such, he is very caring and has a large heart, but is more easily hurt because of it. He will almost never share his own emotions but you can tell if he is hurt or glad by his eyes.
Orique is very socially awkward. He spent so many years taking lives that he has many symptoms of PTSD, like constantly scanning his surrowndings. He has a soft spot for children, but he has no idea how to care for them.
He does not speak. He can physically speak aloud, but it is extremely rare and only used if absolutely nessisary. He compunicates with his Psychic attack. After so many years of harsh training, he has managed a way to comunicate with it. It is rare that he says actual words or sentences, usually prefering to show a picture or portray a feeling inside of another's mind. Orique has recently learned that he can even read the thoughts and feelings of others as well, but he is not very skilled at this at all and can barely manage to get a single word or feeling from another as of this point.
Orique survives on purely drinking water and consuming the dreams of sleeving living with Dream Eater. This makes up for his vital needs but does not keep him fit at all. Due to this, he is extremely thin and very weak physically. He has short stamina but runs himself to exhaustion often while trying to survive in the Epidemic.
He knows a lot of German from the days of his masters teaching them to him and he will alternate between English and German without realizing it.
-He cannot digest anything more complex than soup, pretty much. He cannot stomach any solid foods, or can sometimes keep down food, and will retch up anything he cannot digest.
-He survives with water and dreams using his Dreameater move. It keeps him alive but not very fit. Suicune has approved of this.
-Due to his breeding he is: extremely small, large and fluffy ears an tail, terrible digestive track problems, and lacking the markings on his hind legs and shoulders
-Is physically possible for him to talk out loud but he doens't. The only way that he speaks is directly into one's mind with his Psychic but even that is rare
-The Phanteon is the long lost shiny sister of Hera, Jude, and Luna (Greed)
-Tyson is the elder brother of Hera's trainer.
-Tyson's whole family and village was attacked by undead and got seporated
-Pretty was killed by an undead

Slyke was born to a very experianced Dragon trainer in the city of Blackthorne. For the first decade of her life, Slyke discovered many things. She was always with her mother's Pokemon, having a soft spot for the Dragonair and her mother's first Pokemon. Slyke never knew her father, but she never felt down. She had a way with Pokemon. She was always rescuing injured ones and bringing them home as well as playing in the Ice Cave for hours each day, befriending wild Pokemon. The creatures automaticly trusted the little girl, showing love and being her friend more than humans ever were. She was a lonely child, often fighting against depression and multiple health problems. When her tenth birthday came around, the usual age for trainers to start out as rookies on their journies, her mother hesitated. She feared for her daughter no being well enough physically and made the decision to hold her back. Three years later, at the ripe age of thirteen, she was finally able to visit New Bark Town for her starter.
Slyke bid farewell to her mother and rode her beloved Dragonair across a huge chunk of the Johto region to the small town of the esteemed professor. Using a less than conventional method, she ended up with a hyper little Totodile. Like the wild Pokemon near her home, it was love at first sight. Over the course of a few weeks, despite being three years older than the rookies around her, Slyke was flourishing. She already had a strict training schedule and made many friends. Slyke refrained from capturing too many Pokemon, finding it cruel, but never turned down a soul that wanted to accompany her. For many years she became steadily stronger and stronger, treating her Pokemon team members better than she did most humans. They were her family, her friends, and she bent over backwards to make sure things were perfect for them. Ironicly, she saw nothing wrong with battling.
By age eighteen, Slyke had her winning team and everyone was fully evolved. She was a confident young trainer and had earned the badges of all of the Gyms of Johto. She had become cocky, overconfident, and started to get an ego. She went boldly straight for the Elite Four without even thinkin of her team's health. Unsupprisingly, she lost. Baddly. Slyke was completely shocked. She had no idea how she could have lost, but after a week of recooperation with her beaten team... It hit her. She had been slowly loosing her team, losing the loving bond that allowed her to see in sync with them. It was then that Slyke changed her entire way as a trainer. She no longer pushed her team to fight, she made sure to have time for relaxation and just fun with the six strong Pokemon, and even always made sure to carry extra healing items for anyone she fought. Slyke would always honorably heal the defeated Pokemon, whether they were her own or someone else's.
When she was twenty two, she was ready to retry to Elite Four. Her team all wanted to retry the harsh challange, feeling they were ready. After many long hours of battling and exhausted Pokemon... Slkye finally won. She defeated the Champion with only Jace remainig, the Pidgeot earning a lucky shot and downing the other's Pokemon with one well aimed shot. Slyke was an instant celebraty overnight. She spent weeks resting with her team after the intense fighting, knowing that they deserved the rest. The media was on the yound trainer within days. Harassing her team and bugging her family, the frustrated woman decided to leave. She gave up the title less than a month after earning it and she fled, flying around the world on Jace as she escaped the harsh reality of becoming a new celebraty. Life was hard for a few months as she outran her own status and just enjoyed her home region. After a while, though, she decided to travel the regions. She visited Sinnoh not long after and it was there that she met the love of her life.
He was a trainer just like her, battling upon meeting. After she defeated his small team and healed them like she always did, the two began talking. Within a few hours they were almost best friends and began to travel together. He had no idea of who she actually was and that suited the ex Champ just fine. Within a few weeks a romance had blossomed and the two officially dated. After a few more years of traveling around Sinnoh, he even proposed and the two were happily wed. He had found out by then that she was the ex Champion but that never changed his veiw of her and the two were insepperable. After traveling the world together, they finally decided to settle down. By then she was already carrying her first and only child when they built their home in the wilderness around Blackthorne City. Less than a year later, little Flinche was born, named after the starter Pokemon of one of the Ex Champion's close friends. For many years the three lived happily together, training on a strict schedule but never overdoing it and always having time to rest.
When Flinche finally decided to head off on his own Pokemon journey, his mother was nearly overcome with worry and anxiety. She could all too well remember the hardships and dangers she had faced while on her own journey. But the teenager was oblivious to the worries of his mother and headed out anyway. More months passed and she lived happily with her loving husbend and her many pokemon. Living the dream, she was ble to excell in things she loved like art and getting to learn more about the Pokemon of the world. However, things went wrong when the Epidemic happened. THe call that went out for all Trainers to release their Pokemon floored the loving trainer. She completely refused to let go of her six family members and even fought the authoraties when they tried to make her. Things just became all bad, though, before they could really force her to do anything. Undead began to pop up everywhere and within days the couple were shut into the house, most of their Pokemon stuck in their Pokeballs for fear of infection. The two humans were worried sick for their son with no way to get ahold of him, but they had to focus on surviving first. They lasted for a little over a week when they were suddenly attacked by a flock of what used to be Murkrow.
The foul creatures left no chance of fighting back. Horrified with her own personal phobia coming to life around her, the older woman and her husbend fled on their Pokemon. Flying far away, Jace knew that he had to keep his master safe after all she had done for him. The Pidgeot carried her far away, but that was not what she had wanted. The mother and wife could only stare, helpless, as her trusted partner ignored her orders... and took her away from the man she had depended on for so many years. When they finally landed, Jace was sympathetic but did not apologize. He had done no wrong in his eyes. Only managing to grab her first family, she was alone for the first time in many years, and with the biggest fear that had plauged her nightmares since being very young: the undead. For many days she kept all of her Pokemon locked safely away in their balls with only Salem out, trusting the Feraligatr above all others. As her mental state deterriorated within days, Salem made sure to always keep her safe and protected.
Over some time, a month or so of this, she finally snapped. Just so overcome with greif and terror, the ex Champ just snapped. The normally happy and overly caring woman became cold, never showing emotion on her face, and took it upon herself to help herself SURVIVE. Having stumbled upon a crowbar not long before and having actually read books on how to survive an undead invasion many years ago, she found it easy to survive once she put all of her emotions away in a dark place. Learning about the infection and always having her team help her to stay alive, she managed to learn many things of the infection. Like how poison types were still effected, but not pure poisons like her Ash. She also ran into a handful of other people early on and heard more than enough stories to know that, while the virus meant infection for Pokemon, they were a death sentence for humans.
With that in mind, she fought tooth and nail and did not lose any of her family during the first year. Constantly alone, she had much time to think and came up with many theories. But just being with her small family was enough. However, the real gold mine came after roughly a year of living on her own. She stumbled upon an abandoned human camp, the fire even still going. THey had clearly been experianced but the blood stained freshly on the ground gave away how they met their end's. But while looking through their supplies, she stumbled upon a few odd devices. They almost looked like headphones. There was over six of the things, but all were smashed except for two. Messing with the foreign technology, she was completely shocked when she heard her beloved Salem speak clear English. Snatching up the other one, they left the scene for a safer place to explore what the hell she had found. It took a few hours to figure it all out, but eventually she was having clear conversations with her family. Having always been able to understand them in vauge ways, hearing clear sentences took her completely off gaurd and it was one of the rare times that joy was allowed in the Epidemic.
For a few more weeks she continued to travel, keeping herself and her team alive while thoughts of her love and son running through her head. But her greatest regret came when she found the mountains Wet of her original home town. There was an ambush of undead, more than she had ever seen, and was forced to let out more of her team to fight them. In the aftermath of the fight, she was crushed to see her device broken.... and Jolt had a small gash on the back of her neck. While she still had the other Universal Translator, Jolt was now facing infection and a death sentence. And it was all her fault. The Ampharos tried to comfort her, adamant about being put down and out of her misery. But the ex Champ outright refused, angerly stashing the electric type into her Pokeball again even as tears ran down her face. Having the first real breakdown in a long time, she fought with the realization that she would indeed have to put down one of her family. But not yet. She refused to do it until it was completely nessisary. Heart broken and feeling the agony of guilt tearing at her entrails, Slyke continued on, traveling the mountains with Salem still at her side.
With a slim, fit body, Slyke looks very good for her age. She is not very tall, but still has long, thin legs. Her calves are strong with mucsles earned from years of travel as well as hard struggle for survival in the last year. She has lost all and any extra weight she had earned over her retired years, now truly alike to a living corpse. Her deep, earthy brown ares are sunken in, immposibly wide with many dark bags underneath. She has dark brown hair to match. It would have been straight and healthy in another life, but now it is long and unruly. Slyke was lucky enough to find a brush and tries to keep the unruly mane undercontrol, but she has naturally greesy hair. Due to this, she almost always looks dirty and unkept. Slyke has many scars littering her body from so many years of dealing with wild and just plain dangerous Pokemon. They range from old burns on one arm, healed over gashes on her thigh, to the small cuts and torn ligaments. Supprisingly, she is still incredibly strong.
Her skin is very fair normally, but due to stress as well as lack of showers, her face and arms are almost always covered in grime and filth. Her clothes always have dirt and grass stains on them with the occasional rip or tear. She generally wears skinny jeans and a normal T shirt, but that was in another life. Nowadays, Slyke is lucky to find any clothes at all, let alone what she prefers. She looks for esential things, like pants with many pockets for supplies and shirts that don't squeeze too much or fly off due to being too large. One thing she always wears, are her Pokeballs. Like the traditional trainer, she carries them on her belt. They are each custom made for each of her team. She also always has her crowbar on her. It is a steely silver with russet rust on certain places as well as splashes of undead blood. It is in her right hand where ever she goes.
She always has Salem out of his Pokeball. He is always loyally by her side. He is always either walking behind or next to Slyke, or she is riding on his back when she is tired. She always sits facing his tail so that no one can sneak up on them. Salem is the one that carries her backpack. It is usually hanging by one of the larger spikes on his back or head. Slyke is never completely unarmed, though. Due to her constant paranoia, she always has her trusty crowbar in one hand.
In other words, she is a ghost of her former self. This ex Champion has none of the confidence or love within her that used to define her. She walks stiffly, her back and arms straight. She is constantly scanning around her, her head snapping left and right to check for undead. She never smiles anymore and cries often. She has ling since hardened over her phobia of the undead, being a stone cold killer if they do show up, only to break down in her regret and terror with Salem gaurding her. She shakes from fear and jumps at the slightest sound. There is no trust left in her eyes. Once a loving, full of life human being is nothing but a fragile shadow in comparison.
A shell of her former self, Slyke is a high strung and stressed out person. She does not sleep well nor for long. She is constantly checking over her shoulder for danger. She never smiles anymore. But she deals with fear silently, never making a sound when she is at her most scared. She depends heavily on her family, more than likely to have a panic attack if she is left alone. Always needing to have someone there with her, she is almost unable to function. Her mental state is near breakig point at this time- what with the guilt of knowing she has let Jolt down as well as completely shutting down so that she can survive the world of her living nightmare- and she is very close to just snapping.
But her caring nature never failed her. Despite her movements and thoughts being almost robotic nowadays, she will never turn down a Pokemon that needs her help. Still holding onto that thread of hope for her husbend and son, she only allows herself to care for and Pokemon she may meet and befriend as well as her family. Still jumpy as ever, she is very suspicious of any and all gashes or wounds someone may have and is not afraid to put someone down if they are infected. She also still retains her shy and timid nature when encountering new people, depending on Salem to do the explaining for her most of the time, but can come out of her shell with kindness and time.
- Incredibly underweight from stress and lack of food
- Mother of Silrin
- Selira is the mother of Tiovoa.
- Jolt has only been infected for a few hours. Her personality has not changed yet but Slyke is more than awear of what is happening. She knows she will eventually have to put her beloved partner down, but she cannot face that and prefers to spend as much time with her as possible until she changes.
- Jace is not currently with Slyke. He has been missing for a few days.
- She is not stupid about the infection. She goes through all of her options to make sure she does not run into undead, but if she does, then she is very strict about her Team only using special moves. No physical contact is to be made and she disiplines strictly if they disobey that.
- Jolt has a small, almost innocent gash on her lower neck. It is not infected, but a pulsing red that itches and irritates her. This is how she became infected; Salem is a few inches taller than the average Feraligatr. He is slimmer and thinner than average, but weighs morw as it is mostly muscle; The middle diamond part of Selira is a violet the same shade as the blue; Jace has deep saphire blue eyes
- Slyke's Pokeballs look like this. She had customed ones made just for her team during her retired years. The spikes and crests on them come out when the Pokeballs are expanded. They are normal spheres when small and attatched to the belt.
- Slyke does not reveal her real name. She changed it to her alias Slyke when she first started her journey and has stuck with it ever since.
- Gave text colors to the whole team even though they will rarely talk. I just felt like it. lol
- Refers to her Pokemon Team as her family as they are that close
- Just overall she is extremely sensetive to things and words but fights hard to hide it
- Finds beauty in many things still and can be very emotional when seeing hope for surviving the Epidemic
- Loves to draw and will oftentimes ask if she can sketch any wild and sane Pokemon she finds
