Regale walks in at the moody Samurott's side. While he liked the Fire Type mercenary for his loyalty and obedience the other...scared him a bit. For one the unnatural color of his eyes marked him as blind or near blind and for another he never said anything at all.
Even his method of communication, strange swift flicks of the arm and paw, was strange.
The skinny Shellfish Pokemon stalks along after him. As a Dewott the eccentricities of him made the Water Type exotic, now with his increase in size he was downright intimidating.
No doubt a burst of Ahab's Rifle would finish him off, hell his white science could take anything but deep down Regale really did not want to take Hideki in a fight. Every part of him seemed unnatural.
The insectile fossil pokemon shudders in the cold as the shape of his castle looms ahead.
Desert was as far from his natural environment as he could get which is why he had chosen this place to die live out his miserable exile but he hadn't expected it to get so cold so quickly.
Regale almost breathes a sigh of relief when he sees the human vehicle looming ahead and ducks into the doorway. The place still has a horribly gloomy air, as if the empty chairs and tables were waiting for the filthy land-dweller humans to return to them. With a smirk Regale promises to turn this into the feasting hall for his great army. Already he can picture the tables clustered with battle-hardened Water Types drinking a rousing toast to his reign.
The battered and faded light bulbs sway above the empty tables. Wondering about the source of the lights he thinks about extinguishing them.

    Outskirt Stand <> Night <> [25]

Wings beating up the sands Hiroshi comes to land in front of the entrance to the human vehicle and drops to all fours to enter. His new bulk is taking some getting used to as his orange scaled sides scrape the edges of the metal doorway.
"Hideki, King Regale?" He asks curiously as he steps inside and can't hold back a yawn.
He cranes his neck to look at what Hideki is trying to do with the grey sheet metal still studded with rivets. It takes a while for him to adjust his thinking to Hideki's mindset to realize what he is trying to do.
    "Hold still now."
Hiroshi tilts his head back and bends the sheets of metal into place with his clawed forearms. The flammable oil he can muster to flame has become larger with his evolution and he can focus a fine flame easily. His jaws glow for a moment as he spits a fine lance of flame across the sheet metal. Its edges glow cheery red as it starts to melt and the Fire Type slams them together, the hot metal edges melting together to form a single whole around the Samurott's prosthetic arm, protecting it from harm.
It has been a busy day and although he would love to spend the night getting used to his new strength his slit pupil eyes hardly grant him night vision and the battle with the Flygon, a powerful enough opponent to spark his evolution, has left him exhausted.
The Charizard yawns widely once again and tries to find a comfortable place to rest. Larger than usual for his species the table and chairs are irritatingly taking up too much room for him to curl up in comfort.
The Charizard wriggles his rump, his long sweeping tail curling up around him as the Fire Type happily finds himself a comfortable corner out of the cold wind and smirks as he rolls on his back, crosses his arms and folds in his wings.
"My king, it is late. There will be time for more conquest in the morning. For now I'm going to sleep."
Blowing out a tiny ring of smoke Hiroshi blinks his orange eyes and settles down for the night.

Hideki winces as he feels Hiroshi's strong warm hands maneuvered the plates of metal into the suitable position across his still functioning prosthetic. He doesn't look away as the hot flame scorches the air in front of him but can't help but wince at the feeling of the metal heating up against his skin.
The two plates of metal grind against each other as he flexes his metallic limb, the hot plate metal grating irritatingly as the heat makes it expand. A few of the navy blue hairs on his upper fore arm are scorched by the heat of the metal plates as he rotates his shoulder. His still black painted claws protrude at the ends of the grey metal plates.
[i]Thank you...[i] He signs, moving his newly re-armored limb.
The armored Samurott blinks and, as his God of Fire rolls over to make his comfortable place to rest for the night, wanders over towards the large Charizard and without bother to sign permission curls up against the Fire Type's cream colored belly, Hiroshi's internal flame making organs leaving his body warm enough for the blue furred Water Type to consider it a perfect resting spot.
The Samuwott rests his furry head across Hiroshi's crossed arms and closes his eyes.
After a while his light blue furred chest starts to rise and fall as, sheltered by the warmth of his God of Flames and Stone, he falls asleep with no fear of the strange place he has found himself in.
With a faint smile playing across his furred face Hideki nuzzles up close to his God of Fire and Rock.
In response the Charizard tilts one green membrane wing over the sleeping Samurott to curl around them.
For so many months the two had been together and such behavior had swiftly become habit, as much for the feeling of not being alone as safety.

Regale blinks his golden eyes and has to double take as his two mercenaries settle in for the night. Why were they curling up like that?
The crowned Kabutops frowns disapprovingly at the spectacle of the two pokemon pressing close angainst each other and snorts in derision.
Though no doubt they would argue it was for practical purposes the two look a little too comfortable for his liking.
Brusquely reminding himself that it does not matter if his mercenaries fancy each other Regale finds the unmistakable shape of a switch and lightly taps it with the tip of one scythe.
In the sink behind him something starts to make a whirring metal noise and he quickly flicks the switch back into its original position.
The next switch he tries, lower down and not obviously connected to some bizarre human device, extinguishes the battered light bulbs hanging from the ceiling as well as silencing a humming he has not noticed until now, it blending into the background noise of the desert.
He can hear the desert winds howl outside as the wind picks up yet again, driven by whatever mysterious forces caused sandstorms to start and end. It is a foreboding sound.
Keeping his golden eyes fixed close on his mercenaries the gaunt Fossil Pokemon finds his own corner to curl up in, keeping his sharp scythe blades angled away from his body.
The cold metal of the walls, no longer heated by the generator, is uncomfortably cold against his shell.
    His mercenaries did look warm...

The charizard's bright orange eyes flicker open, fixing their cat-like pupils on the Kabutops in the opposite corer.Though the Fossil Pokemon's face is still stubbornly set in an expression of determination his thin silver shoulders are trembling faintly from the cold.
Obviously the Shellfish pokemon was not entirely prepared for the cold of desert night.
Wordlessly Hiroshi lifts his green membraned wing a fraction, offering a spot in the pile for the crowned Kabutops against his warm scaled belly. The night was only going to get colder from now on and, as irritating as the Kabutops was, it would be safer for them to rest together against the cold.
He twitches his wing empathetically as if beckoning and wakes the Samuwott slumped against his stomach.
Must you invite the Lesser God over? The blue furred Water type irritably signs.
Hiroshi blows a smoke ring in his face.

Moodily Hideki turns over, no emotion showing on his curiously blank face.
His metal limb is warmed by its contact with Hiroshi's orange scales, the dull fires that flickered in his Gods belly the merest hint of the earlier blaze than had coated his back with the hard porous crust of molten rock. Against the cold hard floor he rests his newly armored libs, feeling the strangely flexible plates of shell move over each other to accomidate the change in position. Sure the Lesser God offered some entertainment but Hideki was not inclined in the slightest to be charitable to him. Hiroshi's attentions were all his.

Regale looks vaguely offended at the unspoken offer. It was simply not done for royalty to dally with the commoners in such a way.
That thought and a faint tremor of cold brutally reminds the Kabutops that he is no longer a real prince. He has been exiled from his kingdom, perhaps never to return.
All the honour and royal blood in the world doesn't change the fact that he is completely and utterly alone...
Turning his gleaming scythes so their sharp edge is facing away from the two the Shellfish pokemon reluctantly stalks over to the two.
Curled up together they certainly look a lot warmer than he does.
Noting the enticing twitch of wing tip the crowned Kabutops swallows his pride and wordlessly slumps beside the two, feeling the warm soft scaled of the Charizard's underbelly on one side and the clean sea-smelling warmth of the Samurott's blue fur on the other.
The arched wings with their greenish membrane curl over him, making the Kabutops feel safe.
without a word he slowly drifts off to sleep.

    Outskirt Stand <> Morning <> [27]

With the rising sun the chill of the night slowly fled, the sands once again coming under the heat of the bright solar glare and beginning to heat. The human structure, a misplaced contraption of steel coated in fading paint, stood amongst the sandstorms like an island of strangeness.
The sunlight streamed through the grime-streaked windows as the sun's bright rays slowly began to light the stony floor.
Curled up in a scaly heap on the floor a large orange scaled lizard lays against the floor. Dark brown rock in uneven patches lies along its spine like a rough mountain range has sprouted to follow the curves of his spine.
The dragon-like mouth of the Fire Type opens wide as it stirs and yawns widely, showing the sharp fangs arranged in its mouth and belching out an odour like brimstone as it woke.
The folded wings, the dark-green membrane stretched between them slanting down like a roof to cover the Charizard's cream colour belly, bend aside to let the light in.
Hiroshi curls his long neck around.
    "Good morning."

Hideki does not dream. He never dreamt, only suffered from less satisfying illusions as his exhaustion let Lesser Gods try to ensnare his spirit.
The swirling delusions irritated him but the Samurott refused to fear them. He had his god after all.
The pale blue eyes flickered open, detecting the bright light of this illusion’s day was upon them. The metal limb creaked faintly as it was moved, the Water Type stretching out his body as he woke.
There is an uncomfortable weight lying across his back, a weight that still stinks of sea-brine.
Shall I kill it? Hideki signs almost lazily to the large Fire Type.
The Lesser God is starting to bore him.

    Outskirt Stand / Morning/ [31]

For a moment after waking Regale's mind is filled with confusion. Where is this harsh light that all of a sudden streams down into his eyes instead of the pleasing shade of light through seaweed fronds? Why is there a soft leathery warmth on one side and a thick furred warmth on the other?
Then as with every morning the memory of his exile returns to him and the crowned Kabutops must restrain himself from bursting into tears with homesickness. This desert revolted him.
Slowly the Shellfish Pokemon opened his metallic coloured eyes and carefully rose, taking care not to disturb the metal-armed mercenary on whom he had rested the night.
The Samurott with his helmet of pointed shell was already awake, inclining his head enough so that Regale can see the strangely blank voids of the Water Type's near blind eyes.
His other mercenary, the Fire Type of unnatural size, was also awake and seemed to be ready for action.
In a dreaming haze the Kabutops went over the dramatic events of last night’s victory in his mind and smiled.
A most fortuitous start to his new empire but how to follow it up?
A twinge of pain from his stomach makes him put aside his plans for the more important concern of finding something good for breakfast.

Hiroshi twitches his tail and knocks a plate from the nearby table by accident. It shatters on the floor and the Fire Type winces.
"Sorry about that M'lord." He mutters and yawns widely with a stench of brimstone and a faint puff of smoke.
"[color:1bd1=EE4000]Man I'm hungry enough to eat a whole Zebstrika."
Lifting his reptilian snout the great rock-backed Charizard sniffs deeply and licks his lips with a bright pink tongue.
    "Breakfast?"
Yawning again the large Charizard goes to stick his long necked head in the kitchen window. He is still unused to his newly increased size.

Fine, it lives. Hideki huffily signs as his stomach growls audibly with his growing hunger. It was the curse of this illusion to be tortured so as a temptation to open the mouth.
    Make it get us food.
Hideki's metal arm scratches on the floor as he clumsily stands and runs one black clawed limb over the newly grown seamitar on his arm.
He can't wait to see how the new blade cuts, the sharp shell edges feeling keen to his questing paws.
    Morning exercises next...
The happy routine of morning training has been something he was happy to do.

    Outskirt Stand / Morning/ [32]

The Kabutops yawns and stretches himself out, still looking down on the others with an imperious disdain.
It felt good to be king and some looking down on his servants made him forget how eagerly he had curled up next to them the night before.
He wanders over to the food preparation area, similar to the one in the sunken vessel of his former castle. Now that he thinks about it this place is too a sunken vessel, but one sunken in sand rather than sea.
It should make a good castle.
Sniffing the air the Shellfish pokemon sorts out the rotting food from that still edible due to its freezing and throws the rotted scraps out into the desert heat.
Some form of meat is amazingly still good though shot with ice crystals and the Kabutops liquidizes it with his acidic saliva and sucks up the nutritious goo that flows forth.
    Delicious.
The crowned Kabutops directs his gaze towards both his mercenaries as the plate falls and shatters.
Their food supplies will not last for long with three eating.
Regale makes the decision that today's mission will be to bolster their supplies and send his mercenaries out to gather food from this dry barren land.
He scoops up a handful of frozen berries and dumps them on one of the clearer tabletops for his companions to feed on.
With the heat of the desert already starting to worm its way through the walls the cold berries are not only unspoilt but a treat to cool down in the warming day ahead.
    "Breakfast."

Gleefully Hiroshi immediately sticks his long snout into the berry pile, the chilled fruit soon heated by the warmth that lay beneath his scales. With his change in size his stomach had also gotten larger and after the fight last night he had been too tired to realize entirely how famished he was.
Chomping down as many of the berries as he could fit in his toothy mouth the Charizard ate his fill and belched loudly with a smell like sulphur.
"Thank you." He says politely with a smile at the Kabutops who seems to be deeply offended by his lack of manners.
With a wide yawn he stretches out his new wings and admires the way the dark green membrane stretches across. Finally he can fly like his father and even though his large body resembles that of a dragon fully grown he is obviously still maturing. To ensure he's as strong as he can be by the time he stops growing Hiroshi knows its going to take a lot of work but with his friends at his side he can just about manage it.
"Come on, lets go on an adventure." He suggests impishly, crouching down on all fours and gesturing with his head. "You ever ridden dragonback before?"
He twists his head to settle the Kabutops around his shoulders and leaps through the open doorway into the light of the rising sun over the desert.

Hideki stuffs his mouth as full of berries as quickly as he can, feeling the juices of the plump fruit running down his throat as his closing jaws crush them. The ache of hunger in his belly slowly receeds.
Almost speculatively he draws his new seamitar made of hardened shell and weights in in his black clawed hand. The rough metal around his missing limb grinds faintly as the rough hewn edges scrape across each other. It is a crude fit, especially compared to his earlier prosthetic but as usual the blank eyed Water Type couldn't care less for issues of personal comfort. Instead he considers the Charizard's proposal.
In his near blind eyes the crouching dragon in a patch of deep orange shadow silhouetted against bright light.
    How like a god.
[color:57ec=74BBFB]Carry me. He signs, aware from the shifting light that his god's form had grown even mightier. It was a request he had often made simply because he enjoyed the feeling of closeness with his god.
Hiroshi's claws obligingly tighten around his shoulders.

    Outskirt Stand <> Morning <> [30]

Hiroshi exhales a bright burst of golden flame that lances the air like the pointing finger of some fiery god, fuel distilled from the berries he has eaten spilling into glands in his throat. The strident jet of flame is a sign of dominance for his area any other Charizard would recognize. It feels good to flame into the open air like this.
The green membrane wings beat solidly, shoving down the air as the large lizard blows his flames below him and rises high on the thermals. Despite how skinny Hideki is from his lack of food a Samurott is no light load. Thankfully his practise at lifting large rocks has helped him prepare for the weight.
Delighted at his new found ability the Charizard practises his flight, learning how to ride the wind currents that are rising across the heated sands. His pumping wings disturb the air around him so Hiroshi experiments with holding them taut and finds he can settle into a comfortable glide, using the occasional spit of flame to keep him upright. His legs tuck under his body, large claws holding Hideki firm around the middle. His smaller skinny arms also fold into his sides in an attempt to make his form more streamlined.
The increased length of his neck comes in handy as he finds he can turn his head dramatically to get a good look at the ground below while he is in flight. He blows a smoke ring upwards and starts to climb.
The touch of the sand starts to blow away as the Charizard soars beyond the haze of dust into the clear indigo sky above brushed with the white gold of the still rising sun. His lava colour eyes with their slit pupils fix on the sight of the horizon. He turns his head and spots in the distance the faint smudge of mountains. Mountains!
Homesickness rises like bile in his throat and the young fire dragon has to pretend the pace is making his eyes water as he angles back into the desert.
"Do you see anything My Lord?" He asks the crowned Kabutops perched on his back.

Cold air is blowing past Hideki's face. Where Hiroshi's scales met his fur there is warmth, the warmth of a God of Fire but elsewhere there is only the chill wind. His half-blind eyes, crippled by years in the dark, cannot see the ground drop from in front of them and the bright sky grow closer but the sudden feeling of weightlessness thrills him.
There is no ground underneath his paws and yet he is still moving faster than he could run!
The cold air makes his whiskers tingle.
What is this feeling? He has no way to describe it because there is no real world sensation he can equate it to. He is...flying through thin air under the power of his God of Flames and Stone! No other illusion could ever be so wonderful and terrible, so breathtakingly surreal and yet exhilarating at the same time.
The Old God could only dream he still possessed such powers, this was something the one imperious with remembered power could no longer create to tempt him but could only be taken along with as he was.
In this dreaming state he could scarcely think of the cold dark space of reality holding him as tight as an eggshell. This, this was an endless horizon!
As Hiroshi soars downwards again in a smooth arc back towards the desert sands Hideki kicks his back legs involuntarily as if trying to swim in the cool air currents. He feels almost as alive as he had when he had first submerged himself in water!
[color:7a5a=74BBFB]I love you Hiroshi. He signs but the Charizard cannot see and the Kabutops cannot understand.

(( @Windsilver: There is currently the severed head of an undead Flygon impaled on a long spike at the desert's entrance, feel free to admire/be disgusted by it for your opening post.))

Crescent walks slowly, wary of undead. "They're everywhere now a days... I wonder if I'll se- Oh my that is... discusting." She said, looking at the severed undead head on a spike, and yet, she seemed fascinated by it. She stopped at the spike looking around to see what could have done this to the undead. She doesn't see anything, but that wouldn't mean they're not there. She sniffed the head. Definitely undead. She fought the urge to throw up as she walked away, now on high alert for whatever could of done that.

    Outskirt Stand <> Morning <> [31]

Turning his long neck the Charizard flaps his powerful wings once more and sees stretching ahead the end of the desert.
The bloodied trophy from their victory still sticks up from the sands, the undead Flygon's head stuck on the rough spike of stone like a foul parody of a lollipop.
Hiroshi smiles at the sight. It is the most badass declaration of strength he has seen in a while. As long as it stands hopefully the larger threats will stay away from their little patch of desert and they can grow their strength.
A little spot of blue, an unusual sight in the open desert catches his eyes and the Charizard wheels around to get a better look. An absol, the fluffy furred dark type only just taking a few tentative steps past their warning sign.
Hiroshi draws back his head and shoots a ball of fire towards the Absol, aiming for the dune ahead of it instead of the Dark Type itself to prevent it from fleeing much deeper into the desert. Folding in his green membrane wings he dives down, whipping up a cloud of choking dust as he comes to land in front of the Absol.
"Who intrudes on the lands of Kind Regale?" He declares impressively.

Hideki's metal limb squeaks as he tries to rotate his shoulder, the rough plate metal scraping across itself. In mid-air he experimentally tries to flex it. Though slowly the joint responds with a harsh screech.
The Samurott smiles faintly, stretching both arms out like bird wings as he enjoys the chill sensation of the wind sweeping over him.
    This is so much fun!
The bubbling feeling of enjoyment is strange to him, a being that has been raised from hatching in a hole inside a stone and thought it the world.
Hiroshi's illusions were always the most fantastic!
The rush of air starts to slow and becomes a falling sensation that makes his stomach flip. The scent of something else reaches his nose as they further approach the dark blot of the approaching sands. Another illusion?

Crescent jumped back in surprise, almost hitting the severed head. "I-I'm s-sorry! I Didn't k-know that this was the territory of another pokemon!" Glass said, looking fearfully at the charizard. What if this pokemon attacked her and killed her? She didn't want to turn into one of those things...

Suddenly terrified of turning into an undead, Crescent looked at the large duel type fearfully. "Y-your n-not gonna k-k-kill m-me are y-you?" She said, hoping the answer was no. She looked pitiful. To think she was once a strong Absol, now left to survive in this cruel world of life and death. She shuddered at the thought. I knew I shouldn't have come here! It's far to dangerous! Crescent thought, backing away from the charizard some more.

Hiroshi tilts back his head and blows a small plume of flame.
"Depends. You infected?" He asks brashly, scratching a patch of melted rock on his back with his hind claws and twitching his tail.
"If not our king could always use more subjects. He's a good leader."
The Fire Type smiles toothily at the smaller Dark Type, trying to reassure her.
With the state she was in killing her wouldn't have been much trouble, a searing column of flame from high above and there wouldn't be enough flesh left to attract the undead but Hiroshi had been raised to be more moral than that. If she was just some lost traveler there was no point or real reward in killing her.
"It's still rather dangerous around these parts, there was this massive monster of a Flygon earlier. You shouldn't be traveling alone."

The strangely bubbling euphoria dies down as the Samurott's feet once again touch the gritty sand and the large Water Type feels disappointed.
He had been enjoying the experience.
He turns his blue furred head clad in its helm of hardened shell towards the noise of something talking. It sounds afraid.
In one smooth movement he draws both his sharp blades of shell and leaps forwards with the intent of plunging both blades into yielding flesh. A heavy force pins him down, both blades still clutched tight in his grasp as he is shoved down onto the sand.
Hideki growls as Hiroshi holds him pinned.
Let me go! He signs irritably, angry to be robbed of his entertainment.

Crescent looks up at the fire type, a little braver now that she was sure it was not going to kill her. Not straight away anyway."Me? An infected? I should hope not. I haven't come across many of them lately. Even if I did, I'm su-" Crescent was cut off as the strange water type jumped at her, holding two swords in each paw. Crescent's eyes widened as she saw the fire type pin the strange water type to the ground.

Crescent soon gathers herself again, shaking her head to clear her mind of all negative thoughts."A-as I was saying I'm sure I could stand my ground against infected." Crescent said, looking at the water type. She hoped it didn't know any fighting or bug type moves.

Hiroshi smiles in a way most reptilian.
"Depends on the infected I've come to find."
A note of bitterness enters his voice at the statement as he thinks of his father, the powerful Charizard he had spent his entire life looking up to until he was killed in battle with an undead.
He looks over the Absol thoroughly through his slit pupil lava orange eyes, taking in all the details he can see about the shaggy maned dark type. She does have the haggard look of all survivors, the look of one who is understandably a bit jumpy but capable of fighting if need be and after all they were all in the same boat here with the world ending and everything. If he has to he can persuade her to play along with Regale's royalty charade while they fortify the stand.
"So what brings you so far off the beaten track." He asks, settling down and hissing between his teeth at Hideki.
"It's a god not an illusion." Sometimes he felt bad enforcing the Water Type's mania but it was the easiest way to get him to listen.

Hideki settles down, sheathing both blades of shell almost huffily as he settles back into the sands. This area was crawling with lesser gods, deities that failed to arouse his interest through their lack of power and instead tried to steal his soul through pitifully childish stratagems such as attempting conversation. Even back when he was still safe in the dark space of the world he had not fallen for such trickery.
His fogged light blue eyes, permanently damaged from his time underground, see the hazy shape of the Absol outlined as a patch of blackness against a searing white landscape.
The Samurott presses closer to his one 'true' god, feeling his thick blue fur brush against the Charizard's warm scales.
A goddess then. he signs dismissively, wondering what element this new scrap of a lesser go could possibly command.

    ((OOC: Yeah Hideki's weird))

"Well I was running from the infected, however I managed to lose them ages before I got here." Crescent said, looking at the water type curiously as it used it's paws to sign strange signals. It looks almost like sign language... The dark type could tell the two pokemon were closely linked.

"You mentioned a king?" She said, trying to learn about this 'king' that the fire type had mentioned. "My name's Crescent by the way." She said her senses on high alert for any infected.

"That wwould be me." Regale says as he finally figures out how to slide from the Charizard's back without looking a fool or scraping his pristine shell on the rough crust of volcanic rock along the dragon's spine.
With a soft noise he swings off his mercenary's back and lands in a dune. The soft sand sucks at his clawed feet and the Kabutops has to raise his gleaming scythes to maintain balance. With care he tries to make the gesture look intentional, turning over each gleaming blade as he glares down at the newcomer with an imperious disdain in his metallic golden eyes. The crescent shaped scars gashed across his eyes mark him as no stranger to fighting.
"A likely story." The Kabutops snorts, not believing that even fleeing the undead would be enough of a reason to come here.Wwell wwater you really doing in my kingdom Landwweller?" He asks harshly, grinding his blades together so that a few brief sparks form along their edges. "Those in my wway end up sleeping wwith the fishes."
The light gleams off the jagged shape of the Kabutops's golden crown, making the gaunt rock type appear even more menacing and hiding his true feelings.
He hated land dwellers who polluted his seas with their filth and broke his heart. It was his eventual goal to exterminate them all and have the ocean wash over the land forevermore...though maybe he'll leave a few islands for his friends to live on if they helped.
The shellfish pokemon glares down at the Absol. She hardly seems like a threat to him but one of the purposes to this flight was to find more food to replenish the castle supplies and for a hunter such as him the little Dark Type was looking more of a meal than an ally.
The crowned Kabutops enjoys the company of his useful mercenaries who have already slain one terrible foe for him but he does feel like sucking the life out of something fresh.

"Now, now I can handle this My Lord." The Charizard says smoothly, settling down in the warm sands and turning towards the Absol. She doesn't look like she could take much of Regale's play acting; after all the deluded Kabutops seemed overly fond of execution for a monarch with a standing army of two. " I would hardly think you would protest so emphatically towards out recruiting policy."
Hirsohi winks at the dark type, hoping she takes the hint to play along and turns back to the Kabutops who, if not calmed down at least appears to be taking the Charizard's advice seriously. With one hand he points back to where the severed head had been placed.
"You must realize that you have left a sign of a ruler than can bring peace and prosperity and that, as such, young Crescent here seeks refuge from less skilled rulers."
Seeing that Regale is not entirely convinced Hiroshi gives up on logical argument entirely and resorts to merely pandering to the egotistical Shellfish pokemon's sense of self importance, fabricating a military position for the dark type.
"Besides assassins don't come cheaply, it is best if I be allowed to bargain."
He gestures with his short arms, indicating he wants to talk to Crescent in private and, falling into a quadrupedal stride as his feet sink into the soft sand dunes. No doubt the Absol will be wanting an explanation and soon.

Curiously Hideki examines the hazy goddess figure before him, breathing in the scent of her fur as he tries to determine what powers she could possibly have and over what. From the lack of surety in her voice she must be one of the younger newly created gods. She hasn't even shown any Illusions under he command yet.
The Samurott moves closer, blind eyes unable to see the special markings along her body as his sensitive whiskers twitch. The babbling of the Lesser God of Stone and Water he ignores, the words bearing no special significance to him but his short ears prick up as Hiroshi tries to lead the new god away. Were they going to fight, deity to deity or would Hiroshi simply drive her away back into the whirling storm of anonymous spirits?
Hiroshi, what is this? He signs, wanting some sign of reassurance from the large Fire Type as he shakes his shell-helmed head.
His long white whiskers twitch, the sensitive mustache-like hairs brushing against the Absol's side.

Crescent glared at the Kabutops, but flinched when she saw the long scythe like hands. "As I said, I was running from the undead, but when I lost them, I began looking for a place of shelter." Crescent said, guessing the Kabutops knew at least one bug type move, she always kept her eyes on the scythes.

Crescent nearly jumped three feet when the water type's whiskers touched her, however she just stiffened, her mind flashing back to when it was jumping at her, the two swords in it's paws.

    Outskirt Stand / Late Morning/ [34]

The Kabutops turns up his wedged shaped head and straightens the golden stone crown on his noble brow as he lets his most trusted general negotiate their affairs.
The caramel shelled Water Type instead turns to examine the hazy horizon with his metallic golden eyes. It would take a lot of effort to turn this dry lifeless place into a slice of watery paradise as he so desperately desired.
He would have to level mountains and call down the watery gods themselves but he would do it. This world wasn't good enough to exist.
"I am king over the wwater." He stutters out as he crosses his scythes.
From above he had not spotted any signs of an oasis other than the false watery haze of heat on the sands but the Rock/Water Type lived in hope.
A small lump in the sand catches the Kabutops's eye and he tilts his angular head to the side, wondering if he should pursue it.

((OOC: Better go to the warning thread and tell Azelf that before Crescent gets Harb'ed ^^;))

"Walk with me a while." The Charizard extends his long neck, looking at the Absol with his lava orange eyes.
Once they are out of the hearing distance of the Kabutops, who seems to have found something else to do anyway, he rests himself on his haunches and attempts to explain the situation.
"These two...are a bit..." He scratches the rocky crust on his back. "Well I think Regale over there must have been dropped as an egg. They're mostly harmless, provided you're saying what they want to here so don't worry about that. Any harbor in a storm and all that. It would just be best if you played along for now. Regale over there has proclaimed himself king of this area, in fact I think he wants to take on the world by himself as if he could actually change anything by trying. Just pretend you've got some sort of military background and don't mind doing what he says and he'll share our food and shelter with you."
Hiroshi sighs as he sees her stiffen.
"That's Hideki, he's a bit more troublesome." The Charizard's tone drops to a whisper.
"He spent all his time as a Oshawott sealed away in this dark chamber, believed it was the world. Even now he thinks all of this is just a hallucination to amuse him and that we're the dark gods that will eat his soul if he opens his mouth for long enough, near blind too. He's just wondering what you're god of that's all."

The light blue eyed Samurott's whiskers twitch again. Though the choking sand dust erases most traces of scent the new Goddess smells different to ones he has seen before.
The Water Type grips his seamitar's once again, simply enjoying the tactile sensation of the smooth shell in his paws as he walks at the Charizard's side. He gives no indication he has heard the Fire type's words or cares until he smartly raps the back of Hiroshi's clawed paws with the back of his seamitar.
I'm thirsty. He signs, wanting the God of Flame and Rock to procure him something to drink immediately. It didn't look like there was going to be a fight today.

Crescent nods when the Charizard explains about the Kabutops and his wacky ways. So really the Kabutops is just someone trying to build his own little army and take over the world... Good luck with that. Crescent thought, forcing herself not to laugh at the image in her head. Crescent glanced at the water type when the Charizard explained it's rough past. Poor thing. I know how he feels. Sure I may have had a few friends, but there were always those few who threw those unnecessary comments. Crescent thought, thinking what the poor thing would have gone through.

Crescent looked at the Chrizard, confused when he mentioned her being a god of something. "What do you mean?" Crescent whispered to the Charizard, keeping her voice low. She probably looked nothing like she was just five minutes ago, now certain these pokemon weren't going to kill her or cast her out.
