Kaiden was relieved they all made it to the store safely, but it seemed not many of them trusted each other. Despite being a group, they were all separated by very noticeable gaps. Well, other than the pair lying on his back, that is. Couldn't get much closer than that. The tiny fire type seemed worried about the unconscious critter behind him, asking Monty if he would be alright. Kaiden, too, was worried about that.

“Can’t say he looks too good...”
    “Speak for yourself,”

Well well, it seemed that sleeping beauty was awake now. That was a relief. Kaiden didn't want to have to separate Monty from a dead body, that could be...traumatizing. For the snake, at least. Of course, the snake flipped out and he felt his fur bristle as one of them slid off rather quickly. The other soon followed and a sight Kaiden didn't think would be possible occurred. Monty was wrapped around Cap, though it wasn't in a Wrap, it was in a hug. ...'Kay.

With everyone else busy he decided to scrounge around for more food for everyone. He had knocked several of the shelves over so it wouldn't be as easy to find as last time. So he settled for sniffing out any torn bags and digging through junk to find them. Finally coming across a fairly large sack he grabbed it in his mouth and dragged it out, leaving it to rest in the center of their 'group'. "Eat," was all he told them before going to sit by the window near the door. Something was bothering him but he couldn't quite place it.

“G-Guys, do you think we should go find Ari?” Kaiden's ear twitched and moved backward, though the rest of his form didn't even flinch to the sound. It was the only sign that he heard Monty at all. “There’s no sign of her...” At the sign that Monty was ready to go himself he finally moved, putting a massive paw in front of the snakes path. The look on his face wasn't malicious, it was more blank than anything else. Kaiden knew that, even if Monty was willing and ready to fight, Cap wouldn't be able to handle it. He just woke up from being unconscious for crying out loud. He looked at Monty and nodded his head to the others.

"Watch them," he told Monty and Jude, the only two he knew with any sense. "I'll go." With that, he stepped carefully back out the door before tracking Ari with his nose. Blood, he could smell blood. Fresh blood, and not the scent of death that usually hung around the black ooze the infected called blood. He barked loudly before using an Agility to get to Ari that much quicker. He could only hope he arrived in time to help the crazy B.

Once Eva learned Cap was alright she went back to not caring much for the others and focusing on her needs. She was injured and still hungry. Much to her surprise Kaiden had brought over some food for the group. Eva quickly scarfed up enough food to fill her small stomach.
“G-Guys, do you think we should go find Ari? There’s no sign
of her...” Morty said a bit worried.
Kaiden volunteered and left Jude and Morty in charge. Eva looked at Jude, "Upstairs it is then."

Rei was shuffling through everything that was on the shelves on the floor she was on, far from the others. She managed to find a few things, some old, broken down TM's that wouldn't make any use to any, and any of the ones she did find, that where still in tact, where attacks she couldn't, or had already learned. Everything was useless here. She let out a hiss before she began to walk down the stairs to the others, just as Kaiden walked out the door, obviously going to help Ari.

Rei looked to the others, sure they could handle themselves. She wasn't about to miss out on a good fight. "I'm going to help them fight." She said as she ran out the door after Kaiden. He was way to fast for her to keep up with, but she followed the sent of blood that hung in the air, the kind that a living pokemon let out.

She kept up her running, having herself pick up speed so that she till she saw the faint outline of the fire type up ahead, and at the speed he was going, she was sure to lose him again. "Kaiden!" She shouted, not even sure if he had heard her or not. She let out a hiss as she called out his name again, trying to speed herself up so that she wouldn't lose sight of him.

Montague froze when Kaidan’s large paw appeared before him, accompanied with the sharp order that he and the others stay here. As much as he admired the arcanine, Monty couldn’t deny the fact that the guy frequently scared the crap out of him. Maybe it was just his stature that was intimidating, but regardless of the source of the serpent’s apprehension, he would do exactly as the canine requested. He nodded his head curtly, watching as Kaidan rocketed out of view.
“Be careful...” Montague muttered to himself, again looking to the sky for signs of Ari. Capulet had trotted to the serpent’s side, walking on all fours due to the extreme dizziness he felt when he rose to two legs. Taking a seat beside his companion, Capulet couldn’t help but feel guilty for his previous outburst at the snake who had tried everything to keep him alive. Sure, they had their differences, but the lovable idiot was always there for him.
“Err... Monty? I-I’m sorry about earlier,” His apology was hushed, hoping that the leafeon and charmander conversing across the room wouldn’t eavesdrop. It was embarrassing enough to admit he’d been acting like a git, let alone having the leafy mutt rub it in his face. Montague turned his head, surprised at this shift in character.
“Me too, Cap,” They exchanged a weak smile, before Jude’s words diverted their attention.

"That's right broskis. The undead may be chargin' in through the door after Kaiden and Ari return. Soooo we should probably head up stairs to at least make it, I dunno, harder for them to reach us? Up we go. Err- you can walk right?”

Capulet snorted, a true leader that one. He resisted the urge to snap at the canine.
“Yes, I can walk. Give me a minute though, I’m still a bit dizzy,” He turned away from the leafeon, resting his head on his paws to emphasize his reluctance to move just yet.
“We’ll catch you up,” Montague smiled. Suddenly, the aloof feline rushed past, announcing her intentions to help the arcanine. There was that guilt again. The seviper watched her vanish into the cityscape, desperate to assist now that the feeling of having caused the whole situation was nagging at the back of his mind.
“So uhh... what happened exactly? What’re we doing here?” The ferret’s curiosity got the better of him as he addressed the serpent. With a sigh, Montague quietly explained the previous events until Capulet nodded his head slowly in satisfaction. “Great, a whole army of undead...” He muttered bitterly once the seviper had silenced. “And those three are in the midst of that?” Montague nodded his head solemnly, concerned for the trio’s safety. He wanted to join them, and Capulet would be eager to assist too, but now wasn’t the right time. The zangoose’s body would fail him even if his mind was confident of his abilities. The pair sat in silence, Montague loyally watching the door whilst Capulet gathered his thoughts.

It wasn't a good sign that she was getting lightheaded and her breathing slowed. It really wasn't a good sign that she was starting to numb to the pain, her mind becoming oblivious to the precarious situation she was in. The only thing that was keeping her awake was her sheer willpower, her stubbornness saying to stay awake, stay alive. Blood was pooling around her, but her eyes, her attention all stayed on the small amount of debris-littered street she could see from her hidey hole. She was losing a lot of blood, and her wing was at an odd angle. Fuck.

The archeops glanced over for a moment at the probably broken wing. She couldn't move it too well, and it had a small tendency to dangle. She gritted her teeth and, in one swift movement of her head and neck, grabbed the wing with the other, and pulled, snapping the joint back into place. She smashed her head against the top of her shelter; her pain had caused her to reel back. For a moment, there was nothing but pain in her system, and it was all she could do to let out a faint hiss. After a moment, it dulled down enough to open her eyes and let out a breath she didn't know she had been holding. Better. Not good, but better...

Ari swallowed a bit of blood and shoved herself further into her hole. The roars were getting louder... they were sure to follow her damn trail... but there wasn't much else she could have done. She eyed a still-standing building not far from her. 'If I can make it to the building, I can get up to the top and maybe rest long enough to regain some strength... But I need potions, I need something quick...' she thought grimly to herself. The hell was she supposed to get herself out of this one?

Kaiden's heart was pounding, blood rushing in his ears. In fact, he was a few steps close to panic as he rounded the next corner, oblivious to the feline follower behind him. The scent of blood was getting stronger the closer he got to Ari, but that was not necessarily a good thing. The scent of blood was too strong, like she was seriously hurt, and that strangely worried him. Loud roaring could be heard approaching Kaiden from the other direction, and he realized he would probably be meeting the Snorlax in the middle, with Ari at their feet. Psychotic-, why did she have to go and get herself hurt?

He raced past another collapsed building, nearly tripping over the debri as he bound over it, only to find the source of the scent now behind him. Wait a minute... Whirling around he noticed a blood pool coming out from under one of the piles. He swallowed nervously, hoping the dino-bird hadn't been crushed, as he really didn't want to see that mess. "Psycho?" he called out, hoping that she was alive and conscious enough to hear him. Nudging his nose into the hole he sniffed around, and was relieved to not catch the scent of death. Kaiden peered inside and saw Ari pretty banged up underneath, and he felt really bad for her.

He removed his head to look around, and caught a wave of decay in his nose that nearly knocked him off of his feet and he started gagging. That thing...it was close. And with Ari in this condition he would be too busy protecting her to fight very well. She needed to get somewhere safe. "Can you move?" he asked her flatly. They needed to get out, and now.

As they went higher, Eva wondered what was to happen to them. How long can they avoid this army. Was there a way to get rid of them all. Will the army eventually over take them. Many thoughts much like these went through her head, but she strangely not panicked about any of this. Just simply worried. But she knew one thing for sure, she wasn't going to die easily if she can help it. But her thoughts kept going to the army of undead outside.
"Do you think they might find us?" Eva asked Jude. He was always 'chill', which seemed to help her calm down.

Kaiden didn't seem to hear Rei as she called out to him. This didn't bother her though, he was way to far ahead of her, and going much faster that it was taking a lot out of the Delcatty just to keep him in view. She was panting when he was finally slowing down. About time, she though to herself as he stopped near a crumbled building. The smell of blood was coming from it pretty strong, was Ari trapped under there?

She finally came to a stop near the building to catch the horrid reek of undead. It made her feel sick, and most definitely made her lose her apatite. Kaiden still didn't seem to notice her, but he was bound to hear her now that she was practically next to him. "Kaiden!" She called to him, load enough that he could hear her, but not load enough to give away where they where. "Is Ari under there?" She said, using her tail she pointed to the collapsed building as she kept her gaze on him.

    Celadon City || Noon [9]

Silence had fallen on the ground floor, Jude and Eva having sought refuge in the upper floors of the building to leave the ferret and snake to old times. Although admittedly, the pair’s old times were usually spent in a more hostile silence. The quiet they currently inhabited held no hatred, instead a suppressed fear for the safety of their newfound companions. Montague watched the door like a hawk, alert for even the smallest flashes of movement from both friend and foe, as his forked tongue occasionally darted from his mouth. He could smell no foreign creatures – nothing but the stench of the pokémon sat beside him. Any other seviper would be determined to slaughter Capulet from his scent alone, but Montague had grown used to it. Capulet on the other hand couldn’t quite kick the natural instinct.
“You think they’ll be long?” The serpent asked, momentarily glancing to the zangoose. Capulet met the seviper’s eyes, somewhat confused at the bond the creature had built with these strangers in his absence. He could hardly remember their names, let alone feel so strongly towards them. Cap simply shrugged, looking away to scan the room for supplies. Kaidan had left a sack in the room’s centre, a concoction of items having fallen out. Squinting, the zangoose’s sharp eyes fell onto a purple bottle.
“Bingo,” He muttered. That would give him enough boost to get moving again – not that he’d ever admit he needed such a thing. Getting to his feet, he approached the potion, coming to a stop as the chain met its limit. Montague turned his head at the slight tightness about his throat.
    “What’re you – “
“Just move over a bit,” Montague sighed, obeying the ferret and shuffling further into the building. Capulet had consumed the liquid in a matter of seconds, rising to his feet with a grin on his face.

A glint of metal, the light reflecting into Montague’s eye to send him spinning around to face the door. Capulet had seen it too, his fur bristling as the bloodstained aggron lumbered just beyond the building, flocked by a pair of dodrio. The pair exchanged a look of apprehension.
“We can’t let them get in! It’s meant to be a bloody safe-house!” Montague spat, whispering, as if those monsters would understand anyway! There were sure the creatures were thus far oblivious to their presence.
“It could be worse,” Capulet replied, noticing the flaws in the infected. He took a few steps back, Montague following, until they stood at the foot of the stairs. The serpent’s tail brushed over the sack of items, accidentally sending an empty container rolling towards the door. They both saw, instantly holding their breath as the bottle slipped out into the streets, hitting the aggron’s leg. The beast’s hard, red stare fell onto the pair. “Shit.”
“GUYS! WE’VE GOT A PROBLEM!” Montague shouted up the stairs in unison with the aggron’s bellowing roar.
“You idiot!” Capulet snarled, rushing forward, dragging the serpent along with him. “They were going to leave!” It was a sharp, painful truth that hurt Monty, but they had no time to argue now.

Falling into their old battle moves, the pair ran forward to meet the trio of undead before they could enter the building, Capulet throwing his weight at the steel-type, whilst Montague practically tossed the dodrio’s to one side with a well-aimed iron tail. The aggron was pushed back, but the ferret’s weight wasn’t enough to send it toppling over; instead, it recoiled with a headbutt. Capulet only dodged it through Montague tugging him out of harm’s way. He gagged at the force of the chain on his neck, but it had spared him a nasty blow, and he was thankful. Momentarily glancing over his shoulder, the zangoose could only pray that Jude and even Eva had heard the warning. They wouldn’t be able to win this alone.

As if things couldn’t worsen, the aggron had found his foot placed firmly on the chain. Cap and Monty were sitting ducks. Of course, the damn chain wouldn’t break in such a situation – instead, the pair were left struggling for freedom, the danger of all three infected looming about them. Montague was falling into a panic. This hadn’t happened before. Usually their opponent wasn’t a gigantic ton of steel and they’d wriggle free, but not this time. The dodrio had recovered, again advancing. Monty held them back with a strong flamethrower, but death literally had a hold on him. Fortunately for him, the aggron had turned its attentions to Capulet. The ferret was desperately tugging at the chain, clawing at the beast’s foot in his attempts to get away. The aggron raised its arm, aiming a shadow claw directly at the zangoose’s neck.

Huh. The world was really blurry, and Ari thought vaguely to herself that maybe she needed glasses. But then, a small chuckle weakly escaped her; glasses would look silly on an archeops... Psht. A bird wearing glasses... Ha! Then again, trainers trussed up so many of their pokemon in different outfits, why not glasses? Maybe they'd make her look all pretty like them girls on the happy box. She'd never been interested in being pretty before... Maybe she should? Her commando look and attitude make her kinda... butchy.

"Psycho?" she heard a low, gruff voice call carefully. Forgetting the situation at hand, she poked her head out with a delirious, "Yeeeeeees?" The giant guy padded toward her, his stoic expression firmly in place. Ha ha ha... Firmly. "Can you move?" he asked, his tone flat as a board.

"Do you think glasses would make me butchy?" she asked in, while serious, slightly drunken tone. "Because... blurry's bad and glasses... wait..." That didn't sound right. What was happening again? She frowned and stumbled out of the wreckage she had so carefully cooped herself up in, revealing the gashes and pumping blood that stained her plumage crimson. She no longer felt it, only the lightness from bloodloss. She soon spotted the pink blob she recognized as the fluffy cat, and she let out a goofy grin.

"Now this here, this is a pretty lady," she said confidently, sure that the big guy would agree as she pointed multiple times toward the delcatty. Yeah. Who couldn't admit that she was pretty? "What's that smell?"

Kaiden stood there, staring at Ari, without moving. The only indication that he was even alive was that he occasionally had to blink. What the-? She was acting way crazier than usual. Did she just ask him about glasses? 'Kay... The giant bird then practically dragged herself out of the ruined building and he could see the damage done. She was delirious from blood loss. Great. She may as well just be drunk off her ass. She was about as useful as a common lush this way.

"Now this here, this is a pretty lady," Okay. Forget delirious. She was just f-ing broken. The cat...pretty? He shrugged, not particularly fond of cats himself. I guess to some humans she would be pretty, but to the oversized canine she just looked..."She's okay." Kaiden looked at Ari again and shook his head in defeat, positive that he wouldn't be able to get her out of here before the rotting ball of fat came lumbering their way tracking her scent. The dino-bird was pretty pathetic looking, with that doofy grin on her face. It kind of reminded him of Adara when she was in one of her 'moods'. Adara...He needed to get back to finding her soon.

"What's that smell?" And there it was, hurrah. How exciting. The scent was strong enough to knock a Mandibuzz of a gut wagon and he felt the bile rising in his throat, threatening to expel. He had to force it back down and walked over to wear Ari could lean on him. "Need to go," and that was all he told both her and the Delcatty. If he didn't get Ari somewhere defensible they didn't stand a chance. The beast was staring them down, like it was waiting for something. Kaiden didn't want to be the one to make the first move, he needed to get the girls out of there before that could happen. He growled lowly at the lumbering cesspool, backing away slowly to keep himself between it and the females. If it tried anything he wanted it to go through him first.

They were on about the third floor when Eva thought she might have heard a cry for help. She then realized that Morty and Cap weren't with them. Great, more undead to deal with. But this just might help get stronger and closer to evolving. Eva thought, secretly always hoping to become a charizard and learn to fly.
[/center]She ran down the flight of stairs as fast as possible, not checking if Jude was following. By the time she got down there she saw an aggron stepping on the chain and attacking Cap. Dang it! What is with that zangoose and getting in trouble!
Eva quickly ran to get a little closer and used ember against it, then quickly jumped at it and landed dangling off its head. She scurried up it a little and started scratching its eyes hoping to impair it.

Rei watched as Ari pulled herself from under the rubble, talking to Kaiden about glasses, and acting all drunk like, and it was confirmed with what she said next. "Now this here, this is a pretty lady," She said pointing in the Delcatty's direction. Me? Pretty? Rei just wanted to burst out with laughter. She may be a Delcatty, but she never saw herself as pretty.

"She's okay." Kaiden replied to Ari. Though she didn't care what others thought, she just wanted to ask what he meant by that. Of course she didn't really care about the opinion from some dumb dog who's only instinct was to fetch and roll over.

Suddenly the most terrible smell swept over them and Rei just wanted to puke it was so disgusting. "Need to go," Kaiden said and Rei couldn't agree more with him. The smell was so revolting it took a lot for her not to just run and leave them. Shaking the smell off she took up a battle ready stance as she saw the undead. But once again Kaiden stepped in front of her. She let out a hiss, did he think she was weak?

Letting out another hiss she walked to stand beside the fire dog. "You need to get Ari out of here, I can make sure it doesn't follow you." She said as she gave him a look that said she wouldn't take no for an answer.

    Celadon City || Noon [10]

It all happened so quickly, one moment Capulet had locked eyes with the aggron preparing to decapitate him, the next a flash of orange and the ferret was pushed roughly to the side by the serpent. The pair landed in a heap to the undead’s right, Montague acting quickly to prevent them from fleeing in separate directions. The zangoose cursed loudly, wriggling free from beneath the seviper’s coils as he rose to his feet, eyes immediately falling back to the small group of undead. Turns out his saviour had been the little charmander. Capulet hadn’t paid much attention to the female, believing her to be young and naive – but he’d been wrong. She was bloody brave for a start. A burst of light saw the death of the two dodrio, the leafeon proudly turning his attention to the aggron as leaves materialized about him.
“He’s loving this,” Capulet muttered to Montague, smirking at the mutt’s confidence and demonstration of strength. He was alright too, for that matter. Capulet couldn’t help but feel he’d got off on the wrong foot. Of course, he wasn’t as charming as Monty – not as polite, not as in-tune with the feelings of others, but he wasn’t a complete git either. He made a mental note to be a little less of an asshole in the future.

Montague watched as the leaf attack made contact with the aggron, triggering a pained roar from the creature, several plates of its armour beginning to slide down its body. The serpent had to catch his breath, disgusted at the image before him as he refrained from vomiting. He exchanged a glance with the ferret, both understanding without the need for words. The pair ran full speed at the undead’s side, hoping that Eva still had a pretty good hold on its head. Throwing their weight into the creature, the steel-type lost its balance and fell to the ground with an almighty crash. Wasting no time in ending the fight, Capulet scurried to the creature’s head, using crush claw to decapitate it. The ferret turned to the charmander, smiling gently.
“Thank you,” Montague nodded his head in agreement, fully aware that had Capulet been killed, he would have certainly been next. “Both of you,” Capulet turned to offer the leafeon his gratitude too, scratching the back of his head in embarrassment. “I don’t th-“
“What the hell is that?” Montague suddenly blurted out, receiving a glare from the ferret for his interruption. As he followed the serpent’s gaze, his expression immediately softened to one of concern. Through gaps between buildings in the distance, a large, mass had become visible. Even at such a distance, the smell of rot tinged the breeze and Monty struggled to comprehend how powerful the scent would be as it neared.
“Snorlax,” Capulet breathed quietly, eyes never leaving the glimpses of the creature. It soon came to a halt however, and a shiver ran down the ferret’s spine in realization. “Kaidan and the cat went that way...” He looked to each of the gathered pokémon, wondering whether they were just as eager to help as he was. Montague confirmed his thoughts, trying to keep things positive yet his tone betrayed him.
“We should at least check it out,” With an uneasy glance to Jude and Eva, Montague began slithering away, slowly at first as Capulet moved to obediently trot beside him. He was unsure whether the others would follow, but regardless of their company, Monty knew he always had his back-up. The pair increased their pace, following the stench of death.

    Celadon City| Afternoon

Ari didn't even realize the fire dog was what she was leaning on, and for a moment, her mind was clear of the light-headedness and drunken stupidity. Blood ran down her in streams and rivers, pooling wherever she stood for more than a few seconds. This was bad. Never before had she been this hurt without being healed... She looked up at Kaiden, if she remembered the name correctly, and swallowed.

"...I can't... run or fly like this..." she said weakly. "It's hard enough for me to stand as it is..." she looked back to the way the stench wafted, making her gag a little. The snorlax's roar sounded, and how close it was sent a small tremor of fear through her racked body. "...Just... a potion... just... something to get me out of the... the red..." Her panting was heavy as she looked around for something... anything...

But all there was, was death and the rotting...

She snarled and thought back to her den. Plenty of healing there... if she could just make it... She turned back toward the streets, knowing this damn labyrinth of a town like her feathers. "Stand back and get away from here," she growled to the other two as she powered up her Bulldoze. "It's going to follow the scent of my blood."

With that, she gave every ounce she could into the Bulldoze, which shot her forward. Her wings were outstretched, despite one being broken. Pain was the only thing keeping her awake, and the one threatening to make her pass out. She shot past the others and some large heap of metal, but that didn't matter. She needed potions.

She landed in a pile of debris and useless human products, where she lay there for a moment, her strength spent. Body heaving, body broken, bleeding, she lay there, unable to bring herself to move. "Fff...uck..." she mumbled as her eyes rolled back into her head as she blacked out.

((Yay, unconsciousness! Feel free to heal her, anyone))

His heart fell when Ari replied in the negative, that she wasn't able to move. She was leaning so heavily on him, that he knew she wasn't lying when she also said she could barely stand. "...Just... a potion... just... something to get me out of the... the red..." Worriedly, he ducked down a little to let her lean over his back, to put more of her support on him. She was pretty far gone if she was talking about being in the red.

"Stand back and get away from here," Kaiden froze and turned his head to look at her, and saw her body glowing slightly. What was she... "It's going to follow the scent of my blood." She took off like a shot and Kaiden roared after her. What was that crazy B doing? She was going to get herself killed! He looked at Rei and scoffed, not really caring if she followed or not, and rocketed after Ari. She wasn't going to die if he could help it.

By the time he caught up she was broken and unconscious on the floor of the store. She practically tore through the place to get there, causing way more damage than he did by knocking over a few shelves. She was probably going to blame this on him too. Shaking his head he rooted around the mess she made and found a miracle, an intact Revive. Now how the hell was he going to give it to her?

Luckily, her mouth was slightly parted, so that wouldn't be a problem. It was the fact that he would practically have to eat her face to get it in there. maybe there was another way. He padded over to her and lay down, bracing himself against her side. If she was going to swing at him for this, she wasn't going to get a clear shot. He dropped the Revive next to her and used his paw to nudge it towards her face. His paw was the size of her head...Kaiden sighed heavily. Sometimes it really sucked being so large.

He decided to cheat, and used one claw to sort of 'flick' it into her mouth. Hopefully instinct would kick in and she would swallow on her own. Now all that was left was to wait on the others to figure out that Ari wasn't some crazy infected come crashing through the walls.

As the aggron whipped it's head in rage and pain Eva clung to it desperately hoping she wouldn't be flung off. She quietly admitted to her self that this gave her quite a rush and made her feel like she was flying. Soon the large beast started falling to one side. Eva hurried to get to the side that didn't have the floor waiting for a bloody spot on it and tried to keep her balance as it fell. The large metal creature hit the floor with a thundering thud, jolting Eva nearly off of it. She climbed off as Cap decapitated it. He turned to her and smiled gently, shocking her a little.
"Thank you." Caplet said with Monty bobbed his head to agree. Eva just gave a nod back. "Both of you." Cap continued turning to Jude. "I don't th-" Cap being cut off as Monty discovered that a large blubbery mass was heading in the direction that Kaiden and Rei went. Cap muttered something quietly Eva wasn't listening much trying to think of what to do.
"We should at least check it out." Monty suggested to the small group. Before Eva even took a step she saw something blasting towards there small group. It broke through the wall and suddenly stop. Eva, to stunned to move, stood there blinking for a second. Then Kaiden came bounding in and seemed to search for something. It didn't take long for him to find whatever he was looking for, and he appeared to be trying to feed the collapsed pokemon whatever it was. Then Eva realized it was Ari and she was bleeding BAD. So Eva put two and two together and guessed Kaiden had fed her a revive. Eva watched silently hoping that Ari would be alright, but then she heard a huge roar. She turned to look out the gaping hole on the wall and saw the lumbering Snorlax turn in their direction. Eva got read for a fight, knowing very well that they would have one soon.

    Celadon City || Afternoon [11]

They had only managed to get a few metres from the store when a fast approaching blur brought the pair to a halt. The unidentifiable thing propelling itself towards the building was soon revealed to be Ari. At first relieved by the bird’s seemingly healthy appearance, Capulet and Montague soon realized that she wasn’t stopping. The serpent gave an outcry as the pair immediately ducked out of the bird’s flight path. Well, flight path wasn’t the right description... A sprinkling of blood rained onto their forms as Ari passed overhead, Kaidan and the delcatty soon thundered past after her.
“That’s not a good sign,” Capulet muttered uneasily, watching the canine and feline gather about a pile of debris in the distance, apparently where the bird had landed. The seviper followed the ferret’s gaze, concern plastered onto his face as he glanced down as his now, blood-splattered body. He grimaced slightly, preparing to return to the others, but as he moved, he found Capulet frozen to the spot. He coughed slightly at the pressure on his neck, snapping his head around to see what the big deal was, preparing a particular venomous comment. But as he saw, Monty also froze.

The earth gave a slight tremble with each heavy step, the seviper and zangoose pair utterly dwarfed by the undead slowly lumbering in their direction. Capulet’s eyes were threatening to pop out his skull as he stared open-mouthed at the approaching snorlax. The stench hit them hard – bringing tears to Montague’s eyes as bile rose in his throat. They exchanged a glance, terror coursing through their veins at the sheer size and unfathomable power that monstrosity clearly possessed. Every fibre in his being told Capulet to run, but his legs refused to respond. What if it hadn’t seen them? Above that mountain of rotting fat, perhaps the creature’s eyesight was weakened – only alert to signs of movement or sound. It was still a good distance away, but far too close for comfort.

“Cap!” Montague hissed, eyes still firmly on the snorlax. “Cap!” He growled with more urgency when the ferret didn’t respond. Capulet finally turned his head, his face a picture of stress. Were it any other situation, the seviper would have burst out laughing, but it was understandable. Odds of success didn’t look promising, even with the rest of the group pitching in. “We need to go, now.”
“O-Okay,” Capulet choked out the word, struggling to regain composure. Of course Monty was right; they were sitting ducks out in the open and this definitely wasn’t the time to lose their cools.
“Ready....” They both took a deep inhale. “Now!” Moving at exactly the same time was integral for that much needed speed boost, and soon the pair was rocketing back towards the store. The chain clinked heavily with each footfall, the only sound accompanying Capulet’s harsh breathing. Montague was holding his breath.

A sudden booming roar quickly sounded, almost deafening in volume.
“Don’t look back!” Montague was forced to shout to the ferret to get his voice heard. It was slightly strange being the one to do the comforting. Usually, Capulet was the confident one that had to snap some sense into the serpent, but this snorlax had seemingly broken his facade. They were so close to the store now, the others clearly in their sight as a flicker of relief calmed the seviper’s features. Montague didn’t even want to think about what the snorlax was doing, but from its roar, he was guessing that they’d been spotted. And now, they were back with the group... A sharp pang of guilt hit Montague in realization what they had done. Maybe it hadn’t seen the others? Had they doomed everyone by their own cowardice? He felt physically sick at the idea, slowing to a halt beside Eva who looked ready for a fight. There was that guilt again. She was still young and already willing to launch herself into a battle with that thing. He glanced to Capulet, but the ferret’s mind seemed preoccupied. He’d never seen Cap in such a state and was somewhat distressed by the zangoose’s fear. Surely, it could always be worse....

    Celadon Dept. Store| Afternoon

Ari's eyes snapped open as the revive slid down her throat. Her body felt better already; her bones not quite as sore as she remembered. Her head snapped around, taking in her surroundings and soon spotted Kaiden, staring down at her. "...You...?" she asked in disbelief. Had he... Had he saved her?

She did not find much time to get an answer when she heard the snorlax's deafening roar and the pungeant stench wafted into the store, trapped in the breezeless building. She couldn't help but cough, the stench burning her airways and stinging her eyes. She shook her head free of the light-headedness and went to digging for potions, food, anything that would give her strength back. She was powerless now because of her damned ability, and she couldn't be hindered if she wanted to survive the snorlax.

After a few frantic seconds of searching, she found one; a hyper potion. Good enough. She fumbled with it for a bit, then turned to the others. "Spread out. Our best way of defeating it is confusing it, which really isn't hard. Just keep faster than it and it'll be too confused to do anything else. I'll get back in the sky." She finally managed to get the thing to spray, even if it was mostly on her face. Wups. She did get some on her wing, which felt glorious now. She flapped and it stung a little, but it would have to do.

She raced up the stairs andback to the top of the building, her perch, her nest. She looked down at the snorlax and snarled. "Fat bastard knocking me out of the air," she growled, flaring her wings, "Let's see you do that again without YOUR FUCKING EYES!" She dove, wings curled into her, a colorful streak coming down the building. At the last minute, she opened her wings, her hurt one twinging, and landed on his fat, bloated face.

The stench was unreal. She nearly blacked out right then and there, but thankfully, she was too pissed off to allow that. With a screech, she took out the soggy eyes before the snorlax could get a sausagey hand up to his face. Laughing maniacally, she screeched, luring him away from her precious store. "Over here, fatass!"

The look on Ari's face? Priceless. "...You...?" The large Arcanine couldn't help but chuckle at her confusion. She obviously never expected him to be the one to save her, much less be by her side when she woke. It was a refreshing change from the usual sour look she always gave him. She got up and rooted around for a bit, and Kaiden took that as his cue to check the rest of 'team'.

Rei, that damn cat, was right behind him. Again. What? Did she get her kicks out of following him around? She always seemed to be there, just sitting in the way, like she was going to do some big dramatic gesture to show she actually mattered. Hmf. He saw Jude with the Charmander, he forgot the name, and Cap and Monty were...wait, where were they? And then he saw them, running towards the great hole in the wall kind of shaped like a dino-bird. The smell hit him once again, his sensitivity to scent making him choke and gag on the rancid air. It was back.

"Fat bastard knocking me out of the air." Well, looked like old Ari was back, too. "Let's see you do that again without YOUR FUCKING EYES!" She launched herself back out of her new doorway and charged at the fat, gelatinous ball of infection. She actually ripped out it's eyes, blinding it, and Kaiden had to admit he was a little impressed. He decided to aid in the fight by offering up a Flamethrower to help cook the rotten bastard as Ari moved away to taunt it. This was going to be fun.

Eva was relived to see Ari conscious again, she would be a big help. But then a horrid stench made her stumble a little, nearly passing out.
"Spread out. Our best way of defeating it is confusing it, which really
isn't hard. Just keep faster than it and it'll be too confused to do
anything else. I'll get back in the sky." Ari commanded, taking charge of the situation.
Eva saw the hideous Snorlax and the a streak of color fly at shouting all the way. She viscously attacked its eyes ripping them out. Eva smiled remembering earlier. Kaiden joined in with a Flamethower and Eva couldn't stand still anymore. She rushed off to the left of it and shot embers at it too annoy the great ugly monster. She kept at it varying attacks occasionally. She knew she wasn't going to kill it, but she certainly annoy it.
