|Item||Hugh has several various keepsakes that once belonged to his sister, to remember her by, though this is as far as his sentimental belongings go. These include: A Purrloin plushie, several old drawings, and a rainbow bracelet she liked to wear. Other than that, he has his translator and basic survival equipment and supplies.|

|Quote||"It's all my fault."|
|Appearance||He's still got that same ridiculous, spiky Qwilfish hair, and is somehow even paler than he already was. He became fairly tall, too, and might gain a few more inches on his height yet.|
He often partially hides his face using the collar of his jacket, usually because he wants to avoid eye contact. Definitely does not look like a friendly, approachable person.
(To be edited again...whenever I feel like it.)
-Hugh is all too quick to jump into a fight, and saying he has a short temper is a bit of an understatement. His anger is always inches away from being set off, and can be triggered by even insignificant slights. He's not shy about raising his voice when he's pissed off, either.
-Hugh's impatience has pretty much stuck with him, and in some ways, it's worsened. Though his interactions with humans and even uninfected Pokemon have been few and far between, he's demonstrated a stubborn unwillingness to work with them or make any sort of time for others. He lives at his own pace, and won't adjust because other people can't keep up.
-He is still passionate about his hatred for the mistreatment of Pokemon, and is completely heartbroken over the conditions of undead and infected Pokemon. He knows what they do isn't their fault, but since some of his own cherished Pokemon were killed by them, Hugh is torn between feeling sympathetic and hateful, the two emotions often mixing together.
-The loss of his sister messed him up hardcore. Four years after, he is still mourning her death and desperately hangs on to anything that reminds him of her. He blames himself for not being there for her, for failing to save her, and is still haunted by the memory of seeing her dead body in their house. His grief manifests in different ways, the most common being either erratic anger or regretful despondence.
-Though he wants nothing more than to be able to simply stop experiencing any sort of sorrow or rage, his already unbalanced emotional state has steadily worsened over the past four years. Hugh has become rather unpredictable, his moods sensitive and liable to change at the slightest upset. He's also developed a more violent side, when before his anger was mostly regulated to shouting at people.
-Hugh is quick to hold a grudge and slow to forgive; as seen with Plasma, he can hold on to personal hatred for years. He is very dismissive of the idea that people can change for the better, holding a very black-and-white viewpoint towards humanity as a whole. This has made him rather cynical and mistrusting towards nearly everyone, and yes, his hatred for Plasma is still as strong as ever. Though he once had somewhat of an understanding with ex-Plasma members, now he sees them as nothing more than over-idealistic and too weak in their attempts to make up for the crimes of the original organization.
-He's still a teenager, so Hugh is not the most mature person in the world. He can act rather bratty at times, outright refusing to do something someone asks just because he doesn't like them, or even doing the exact opposite. It took time for him to warm up to people even before the outbreak, and now he is all but closed off to others. However, for those who he still does consider his friends, Hugh will show them the utmost respect and loyalty.
-Despite his attempts to build an emotional barrier between him and the rest of the world, Hugh has his moments of vulnerability. On occasion, the sheer grief and pain associated with his sister's death and those of his Pokemon can overwhelm the teen, causing him to break down and cry. He's only 16, and never got the chance to develop healthy coping mechanisms. He has no idea how to handle the raw emotions and thus, Hugh attempts to repress them entirely, which only leads to these breakdowns.
-Despite his occasionally asocial and abrasive mannerisms, Hugh does have a caring side. He sees his Pokemon as family and treats them with complete respect; though he has not seen any of his close friends from before the outbreak, he would treat them the same. Even when dealing with his own self-esteem issues, Hugh would never hesitate to act as a motivator for his friends and encourage them in whatever goals they chose to pursue.
